Since childhood, he's had an instinct for expansion and growth. His interest in the human mind and self-inquiry ignited at age 14, after reading his first book on meditation written by Osho (Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh). Eventually, Kranti developed an interest in Yoga. In 1991, he travelled through India, and a few years later, he started a daily practice. In Milan in 1996, he took a one-year teacher training with Carlo Patrian, one of the yoga pioneers in Italy. A few years later, while in Berlin, he was introduced to the Ashtanga method and fell in love with the practice. Since then, although Kranti's yoga experience was complimented with the Iyangar method, Ashtanga became his daily practice and passion. Kranti moved to Copenhagen a few years later, teaching Ashtanga and Hatha Vinyasa. He taught different yoga enthusiasts, dancers, actors, and athletes; one of his regular students was the Crown Princess of Denmark, Mary Donaldson. In Paris in 2002, Kranti attended a workshop with Richard Freeman. He was deeply inspired by Richard's versatile and open approach to yoga and yoga philosophy, and the following year he traveled to Boulder, Colorado, for Richard's one-month intensive teacher training. This experience further deepened his understanding of the Ashtanga method, meditation, and philosophy. In 2004, he attended a course in Yoga Therapy at the Yoga Biomedical Trust of London, England. He worked with students with heart disease and was moved by the powerful healing aspect of yoga as a complementary alternative therapy. Since 2005, Kranti has routinely studied in Mysore, India, under the guidance of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and his grandson Sharath Jois. He received Authorization Level 1 to teach Ashtanga Yoga from Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in 2008, and on July 5th, 2010, Kranti received Level 2 Authorization. In 2012, Kranti was Certified by the K. Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Institute (KPJAYI) – the only official institute in the world able to certify students to teach the traditional Ashtanga Yoga method by the Jois family. Kranti & Gabriele Severini, who teaches in Rome, are the only two certified teachers from Italy. As of 2012, only 38 certified teachers were recognised globally by KPJAYI. Kranti is also a registered teacher with the Yoga Alliance (RYT and E-RYT 500 hours), and he completed the Yin Yoga Teacher Training with Sarah Powers. Through his teachings, Kranti will help you tap into your own true, unique potential. “In addition to Yoga studies, Kranti has trained and self-studied ‘Life Coaching,' NLP, Body Language and psychology, incorporating aspects of these fields in his daily teaching and private lessons.”

Ananta Kranti, our guest this week, has dedicated her life to deepening her connection to her true self and transmitting her wisdom to thousands of students and seekers. She does this in the form of personalised “pointing out” instructions that directly reveal the nature of the mind, its illusions, karmic entanglements and the path to ultimate freedom. Ananta speaks a lot about awakening and how it's possible for everyone, but also about how it requires a willingness to break free from our current perception of life. When we realise how little we actually know we can start asking bigger questions and ignite the desire and intensity required to open up the possibility of transformation. Ananta works in a powerful way, fully integrating with others helping them to process and release trauma that may be held in bodymind memory. Robin was born and raised in the US with a very religious and schizophrenic mother as well as a violent and atheist father. At 14, Robin started volunteering with various non-profits organizations and traveling the world, two lifelong passions which led her to work with dozens of NGOs and travel nearly 100 countries. After spending several years in the US Air Force, Robin was kicked out for being lesbian which led to her new life as an activist. At 24, she started Kranti, an NGO that empowers survivors of trafficking and daughters of sex workers from Mumbai's red-light areas, where she lived and worked for a decade. In 2020, Robin moved to a mud hut at 13K feet in the Himalayas without any water, electricity or toilet. For over a year, she wasn't online, didn't read any book and didn't speak with anyone. In July 2021, she started working part time from the mountains and became a certified BatGap addict. Kranti karani by Acharya chatursen narrated by Rani Ratta.
Prostitution has been an age old trend in the Indian society and no one can today can even find out the approximate date from when this profession came into existence. It is claimed that it has been a part of our society even before Christ came into existence. Though surprising, it is still true that prostitution has still not got any specific legal recognition in our country. One can say it is neither legal nor illegal in the country. Jagadguru Rambhadracharya's initiative of bringing 1100 Hindu Acharyas and Sant-Mahatma along with the RSS chief is unique. It is after a long gap that such a meet has occurred after Ashok Singhal ji passed away. Defining who is a Hindu, replacing Shanti with Kranti and Mohan Bhagwat ji's administration of an oath to all were the highlights.

Our Guest for Today's Show is a Drummer, Speaker, and an Agent For Social Change. Her story is one of hardships, abuse, and violence but also of grit, resilience, and hope. She was born in India's oldest and Mumbai's largest red-light area, Kamathipura. Daughter of a sex worker, she had a rough childhood, bouncing between NGOs and schools. She was marginalized, bullied in school, and often mocked by saying "a sex worker's daughter will simply become a sex worker". Amidst all this, she found herself being sexually abused by her Step-Father, not once but several times. She grew up from being a timid, shy girl with low self-esteem into a confident and courageous young woman with Kranti's help. Kranti is an NGO that empowers girls from Mumbai's red-light areas. Please help me in welcoming a true Krantikaari, a girl who strongly believes that her background is not her weakness in fact her biggest strength, the brave, the bold, the courageous Sheetal Jain.Follow Kranti's & Sheetal's Work On:Sheetal's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sheetal.krantikarie/Website: https://www.kranti-india.org/YouTube #Kranti: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-3z6ND-NCn0r56e69cox1gKranti's Twitter: https://twitter.com/KrantiMumbaiKranti's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/wearekranti/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kranti.india*************************************************************************Social Handles:Wish I Knew That Before!:https://www.instagram.com/wishiknewthatbefore/Amit Pandey: https://www.instagram.com/itsamit_pandey/*************************************************************************Share the podcast with someone whom you think would benefit from listening to it and don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe! Ananta grew up in London and left England aged 19, with the desire to live as a free being. This first expressed itself through travel and lead her to Asia in 1989 where she has lived ever since. Searching to find the Truth of herself she found her way to the Osho commune in Pune, India where she explored meditation and Self-awareness groups for more than 10 years, also working with people for several years in the healing fields. In 1994 she entered a two and half year period of silence in a Japanese prison. During this period True Freedom was realized. That which has always been Free, Full and Enough unto Itself! The Peace that is the ground of all experience. The Love that does not need an experience of Love. The happiness that is our True Nature without needing an experience of happiness.... revealed itSelf to ItSelf. Coming back into 'the world' in 1997, there followed a period of confusion as personality and drama began to reappear causing the search to go on. In 2000 she then found her way to Intensive Satsang with Dolano in Pune, where the confusion was cleared and no way to turn back from the clear recognition of 'Who Am I'. This naturally started the unfolding of the integration process where all personality issues come home in Truth. Where bound up life energy, held by beliefs and illusions, reappear to be met in the light, where transformation happens. Through her own Self-Realization, her main area of focus is Now facilitating, the simple direct sharing of the realization of our True Nature, through all that appears to play in the ordinariness of life itself. Among the expressions of same Self who have greatly influenced Ananta's way of sharing are the spiritual teachers Gangaji and Dolano who use the direct inquiry of "Who Am I?" passed down from Ramana Maharshi.
