Podcast by Ron Paul Liberty Report
Forget evidence, trials, or the presumption of innocence: for the UK Parliament It's "sentence first—verdict afterwards." Culture Committee Chair Caroline Dinenage sent letters to every platform commentator Russell Brand has appeared on to demand that he not be allowed to earn money from his work. Even though he has not been charged, much less convicted of a crime! Also today: Jan 6th "insurgents" were crawling with Feds. Finally: NATO dam cracks with Poland saying "hasta la vista" to Ukraine.
Santayana is credited with saying "Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it." New York City is considering sending a good chunk of US history down the "memory hole" by destroying statues of George Washington. Also today: Sen. Rand Paul says "no way" to more Ukraine aid; vows to block any fast-track. Meanwhile Ukraine is holding a US citizen Gonzalo Lira in prison for having a different opinion about the war and Ukraine's spokesperson threatens to "hunt down" others like Lira.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is seeing another open revolt from his conservative and populist flank among House Republicans, with firebrands Matt Gaetz (R-FL) and Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R-GA) stomping their feet at the "compromise" 30 day stop-gap. Ron Paul has a solution to the dust-up, so watch the show! Also today: ammo is getting very expensive and NATO promises to Ukraine may suffer. Finally...Ron Paul discusses his new book, The Great Surreptitious Coup and tells you how you can get your own copy!
After shipping some $45 billion in military equipment to Ukraine, the Biden Administration is bringing Ukrainian President Zelensky back to Washington to beg for more money. But with the war going badly for Ukraine and strong US opposition to spending more on the effort, it looks to be an uphill battle. Also today: who was the armed guy impersonating a cop at the RFK rally...and why can't RFK get Secret Service Protection? Finally...Homeland Security has a new target: you!
Those who implemented the disastrous Covid policies are now attempting to rewrite history. They appear to be betting on Americans forgetting what they did to us ever so recently. Of course, attempts to bring the tyranny back are being attempted in the usual places. Trial balloons are being floated to see if they stick. On the positive side, most Americans are not buying it this time. The word "NO" is a very popular word, and it needs to stay that way.
Yesterday, Ukraine hit targets in Crimea, damaging or destroying one kilo-class Russian sub and one landing ship. The missiles used were StormShadows from the UK and the targeting was from the US Pentagon. How soon until Russia strikes back at increasingly direct NATO/US involvement in the war? Also today: too little too late - the Pentagon suddenly develops an interest in where the money to Ukraine is going. Finally - Agent Orange 2.0? US to "defoliate" Asian jungles to prepare for war with China.
Speaker McCarthy finally bowed to pressure and, likely against his preference, launched an impeachment inquiry into President Biden. Already House conservatives like Matt Gaetz are warning that Republican hands will be cuffed. What should we expect from the process? Truth? Also today, Covid tyrants are back and cancelling high school football games again. Finally, Sen. Warren wants Musk probed over failing to facilitate Ukrainian attack on the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
In a rare successful deal with Iran, the Biden Administration secured the release of five US citizens held in Iranian prisons in exchange for the release of $6 billion in Iranian assets seized by the United States. Predictably, US Republican politicians lost their minds over the deal. Also today: Blinken green-lights Ukrainian missile strikes deep into Russia - what could go wrong? Finally: Biden's thuggish Energy Secretary strands young family so she can re-charge her electric car.
It has been 22 years since the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon. The attacks launched the "global war on terror" that the neocons had been itching for. Media propaganda solidified the lie that "they attacked us because we are rich and free." And to this day there has been no national discussion as to why 9/11 happened and how we can prevent the next one. Also today: blockbuster new JFK assassination revelations and Californians are getting sticker shock on move toward reparations.
The "vaccine" irrationality has reached comical levels. Jill Biden, who has had multiple "vaccines" and "boosters" has Covid once again. At the same time, it's been reported that the FDA is set to approve yet another "booster." To top it all off, the White House Press Secretary says "we know that these vaccines work." Who's buying any of this?
The attachment to the ideas of Liberty were so strong at America's founding, that its enemies knew it would take centuries to reverse. Authoritarians are extremely patient. Decade-after-decade, freedom is stripped away. Each generation is acclimated into being less free; never knowing the liberties that their ancestors once enjoyed. It can all be reversed, of course. Americans can always experience a renaissance of Liberty, if they want it bad enough.
When two people voluntarily agree to exchange, there's no such thing as "price gouging." It's just simply the "price." However, what tends to happen (especially during emergencies) is that buyers are not happy with the emergency "price," so they call for government to threaten (or use) force against the seller. Buyers want government to ensure them the non-emergency price, which of course, leads to shortages. Ironically, the greatest "price gouger" in society is the government itself.
Despite decades of relentless propaganda, people in general don't believe the "climate change" hysteria. It's because we're expected to believe that the weather is broken, that we the people broke it, and that government (of all people) will fix it by micromanaging our lives.
The fact that Covid authoritarians want their tyranny back is no surprise, especially since no one was held accountable for the tremendous damage inflicted on the American people the first time around. But the American people of 2023 are not the same as the American people of 2019. Many eyes have been opened. A return of covid tyranny is not a done deal.
"I'm from the government & I'm here to help," is one of the worst things you can hear. Too often, Republicans believe the government must "do something." For Democrats, it's become a creed. Politicians will certainly "do something." But be aware that the costs of their actions will ultimately overwhelm you; either right away, or in the future. Why do big governments always disappear? Because they always "do something."
Tucker Carlson gave a speech in Hungary this week where he apologized to the audience for just how undiplomatic and plain horrible is Biden's Ambassador in Budapest. The Ambassador, David Pressman, views his job not as a diplomat, but rather more like the Soviet Commissars in the days of old. Also today: Push-back against mask-mandates meets with success!
President Biden on Friday said he has sent a proposal to Congress to fund the development of a new Covid vaccine that should be taken by EVERYONE - even by those with multiple doses of the previous shots. Will America blindly follow "the science" and again sign up for jabs? Also today, CNN reports that the CIA notices Russia doing things the CIA does best...should we worry or laugh? Catch Col. Macgregor, Jonathan Turley, and more at our upcoming Washington Conference: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/which-way-america-tickets-665436647927
For many decades, the American people have been bombarded with propaganda. Yet, out of nowhere, with a guitar and microphone, Oliver Anthony exposed the Empire of Lies. Millions of Americans found out that they are not alone in their economic struggles. But even more importantly, "Rich Men North of Richmond" correctly identified the culprits. Our economic problems don't come foreign sources; but from those at home, who seek "total control."
Although he was derided by the other GOP candidates for skipping out on the first debate, Trump's decision to appear with Tucker Carlson was a fateful one. His has become the most-watched interview in history, with nearing 200 million views. The other GOP candidates have thus faded into political irrelevancy. Meanwhile...the Democrats are set to arrest and mug shot Trump today in Georgia. What's happening in America? Which Way, America? https://www.eventbrite.com/e/which-way-america-tickets-665436647927
There will be many jabs and many one-liners and many hollow promises made as eight GOP contenders - minus Trump - take the debate stage. But there are some things you are guaranteed to NOT hear tonight... Also today: Pentagon plays the blame Ukraine game.
Alex Jones was ridiculed last week when he broke the story that the Feds are preparing to bring back their mask tyranny and the other social controls they implemented using the excuse of a virus. Well it turns out Alex Jones was right again. Here and there - one college, a film studio, LA County Health tyrants - they are slowly getting the old band back together. Will it work? It will if we let them. Also today: Did you catch Doug Macgregor on Tucker yesterday? You can also catch him at our upcoming Washington Conference: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/which-way-america-tickets-665436647927

Despite endless promises that NATO's dedication to Ukraine is unwavering, we were treated to a peek behind the mask yesterday, when the NATO Secretary General's chief of staff suggested in a newspaper interview that Ukraine might cede land to Russia in exchange for NATO membership of what's left of the country. Is Ukraine about to get thrown under the bus? Also today: Trump's numbers keep improving with each indictment...do they realize this?
As expected Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis has laid down an indictment charging the former US President with 18 criminal counts, including under the anti-racketeering act. As state indictments, these are not subject to a presidential pardon should Trump be re-elected. What is the real end-game here? Jail for Trump...or something else? Also today: Covid authoritarianism persists as another doctor is punished. Finally...while we weren't looking yesterday, Biden sent another $200 million to Ukraine! Get your tickets to the Ron Paul Institute Sept. 2nd DC Conference: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/which-way-america-tickets-665436647927
George Washington University Constitutional Law Professor Jonathan Turley shreds Merrick Garland's decision to appointed discredited Justice Department employee David Weiss as special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden, writing recently that this means the only way to move ahead with an investigation is through the impeachment process. What's next? Also today: Biden has sent Ukraine the equivalent of $900 for EACH household in the United States! When a government spends money it doesn't have (which is how the U.S. federal government routinely operates) that money must come from somewhere. The unconstitutional Federal Reserve often ends up printing (i.e., counterfeiting) it into existence for the government to spend. The counterfeiting of new money destroys the value of the money already in existence. Inflation is the tax. There is no free lunch; especially from government. With a bombshell new release from the House Oversight Committee revealing the tens of millions paid out to the Bidens by Ukrainian and Russian oligarchs, Northeastern University Professor Max Abrahms asks an important question in a recent Newsweek Article: "Does Ukraine Have Kompromat on Joe Biden?" Well...does it?? Also today...Biden to send more money to...Ukraine. Get your tickets to the Ron Paul Institute Sept. 2nd DC Conference: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/which-way-america-tickets-665436647927
Oh the irony. Acting Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland is best known for her central role in the 2014 Ukraine coup that overthrew an elected government. Now she's traveling down to Niger warning the post-coup government to return to constitutional order! Is it any wonder that no one in authority wanted anything to do with her while she was there? Also today a hysterical Nancy Pelosi proclaims that Trump being elected, “...cannot happen, or we will not be the United States of America.” Isn't that an attack on our electoral system? Indictment anyone?
The pro-war and pro-Biden CNN has just released a poll that must have been painful for them: Americans across the board, whether Democrat or Republican or independent, whether liberal or conservative, now say they do NOT approve of any further US aid to Ukraine. As Ukraine has been Biden's signature foreign policy issue, what does this mean as we move into election season? Also today - can Trump get a venue change?
This week, the U.S. federal government received a credit rating downgrade. Given the unsustainable levels of government spending and debt, as well as the skyrocketing interest payments to merely service the debt, should anyone be surprised? Endless wars and endless welfare promises come at a cost. It's obviously very easy for politicians to focus on the short-run and let future generations deal with the long-run. But the long-run always arrives, and is rarely expected.
The Biden Administration's indictment of former President Trump (again) not only smacks of desperation in the face of Biden's flaccid support. It also is blatantly totalitarian and absurd. Essentially, Trump is being threatened with jail time for believing the 2020 election was not completely above-board and for sharing his beliefs. Even those who hate Trump should be terrified at the thought of Americans being imprisoned for having "bad thoughts." Also today: Why is the US State Department ignoring the torture and illegal incarceration of American journalist Gonzalo Lira at the hands of the Ukrainian government?
Former senior advisor to President Trump's Secretary of Defense and decorated war hero Col. Douglas Macgregor joins today's Liberty Report to discuss the state of the US/NATO proxy war with Russia through Ukraine. Is there danger of further escalation from the Biden Administration and what might that look like? When and how does this war end? Get your tickets to the Ron Paul Institute Sept. 2nd DC Conference: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/which-way-america-tickets-665436647927
As new data comes out from Gallup showing a deep American crisis in confidence in the US military, a new op-ed in the Pentagon-friendly Military.com is calling for a "limited" military draft to fill the growing gaps between projected force needs and recruitment. Are they trying to grease the skids for an upcoming military conflict with Russia and China? Also today, MSNBC thug calls for new "PATRIOT Act" against MSNBC's political enemies.
Late last week the US Senate overwhelmingly passed another huge military spending bill while rejecting any oversight over how the money is spent. The Empire must be funded! Meanwhile US troops in Niger are nervously watching a military coup against the US-backed regime.
RFK Jr. recently pointed out that America does not have a free market, but rather a crony corporatist system. This is important an important distinction. Historically, whenever an authoritarian socialistic system fails, as they must, the blame is immediately put on the non-existent free markets. The problem in America is not our ability to voluntarily transact with one another. The problem is the persistent removal of that ability.
A new Harvard/Harris poll out this week confirms last month's result from Economist/YouGov: RFK, Jr. continues to absolutely crush every opponent from either party when it comes to net favorability. After censorship and slurs, RFK manages to out-perform the MSM favorites. How does he do it and can he keep it up? Also today: Nurses dance to stop climate change and Germany blames Ukraine's losses on...Ukraine.
