Torkel er høyt oppe etter vellykket Bench Boost, mens Jon ser positivt på framtiden med et solid WC-draft. Mange er i samme situasjon, og episoden handler i stor grad om hvem som med på et Wildcard. TrippelCap diskuteres også.
With Manchester City entering a positive swing of fixtures that begins with the visit of Burnley, Suj and James decided this would be a good time to revaluate strategy for chip usage in the first half of the season. The Podcast kicks off with discussion on if Crystal Palace's progress in the Carabao Cup could lead to blanks and doubles in December and there's an assessment of 'danger fixtures' where rotation could bite due to short turnarounds or difficult fixtures either side of 'easier' games. And there's discussion on options available for all of the Bench Boost, Free Hit, Triple Captain and Wildcard chips right up until the final opportunity of GW19. Adam and Baker dissect their latest FPL drafts, debate explosive £7m midfielders, and unpack RobT's latest goal involvement projections. The conversation spills into wild card fallback strategies, bench boost dilemmas, and how to play the chaos when everyone's chasing value. In the blink of an eye, summer is practically over and we're less than two weeks away from the start of Gameweek 1! In this first episode of our sixth season, Jacob and Jiayang finally get the gears turning again in order to assemble a first draft together. In the process, we talk through key considerations such as ideal premium structure, mid-priced and budget enablers, and the potential impact of the newly added defensive contributions to the defender landscape. With the addition of a second set of chips, we also toy with the idea of the Gameweek 1 Bench Boost—perhaps the flexibility that comes with having 15 playing players at the start of the season outweighs the siphoning of funds away from one's starting XI? And who knows what havoc the transfer market could wreak on our plans before the deadline? Until then, happy tinkering!

On Chip Talk James assesses opportunities to use the first Wildcard, using references from his 5 week rolling difficulty ticker to take a closer inspection at fixture swings and Gameweeks to attack. There's analysis of activating early, looking at which teams may appeal during the first two International breaks and if there would be an escape for those considering a Gameweek 1 Bench Boost. There's two London clubs who really appeal around GW8, but it may be that the Wildcard could be served best after the International break in November, or for some it may even appeal to wait for the Christmas period when the likes of Mohamed Salah will go to AFCON. Hail Cheaters! It was a tricky GW31 for many Fantasy Premier League managers, but the schedule is now set for a raft of double-gameweeks, beginning with Newcastle and Crystal Palace in GW32. Opportunities ahoy! Josh and Brandon discuss their plans to capitalize on chips and transfers while still navigating the looming blanks in GW34. Is it time for us to push all our FPL chips in with Isak? Or is there a better, more optimal way to go with our Triple Captain and Bench Boost chips? Plus we look at continued worries around Arsenal's form and fitness, Man City's defensive renaissance, and the dearth of midfield options. There's a lot to debate, so let's get to it! Suj and James discuss the weekend's Premier League football and it was largely another low scoring week for Fantasy managers with Mo Salah amongst many popular assets who blanked. But with Alexander Isak and Newcastle assets still to go at Leicester the outlook could look very different by the end of the day. Newcastle of course double next, as do Crystal Palace who beat rivals Brighton, but not without issues as Marc Guehi was sent off but Daniel Munoz, Ebe Eze and Jean-Phillipe Mateta all returned well. Then there's three further doubles in Gameweek 33, Arsenal and Man City both underwhelmed as they drew on the road but Villa did beat Forest, though they did it was a heavily rotated team, and there may be more heavily roattion to come across Gameweeks 32 and 33 that may concern those looking to Bench Boost. Plus, Liverpool were beaten at Fulham, Southampton were relegated and Suj's Wildcard hasn't got off to the best of starts. Tomorrow on on Planet FPL: The People's Poll, Are We Bored With Football? Clayton joins James for a Podcast stacked full of important information that focus around advice for those on Wildcards now. There's a look at Wildcard Drafts setting to Bench Boost in both 32 and 33, Free Hitting in 33 and how those without a Free Hit Chip may want to consider navigating through the period of Gameweeks 33 and 34. A period that we now know is confirmed following yesterday's announcement on Gameweeks 33 and 34, but there's a warning from James of why he believes there's every chance no team doubles in GW36. And that has a lot to do with Tottenham; yes them; who lost again at Chelsea last night and the Podcast concludes with discussion on the game and why Ange Postecoglu has now completely lost the fans. Suj and James look at possibilities for those on Wildcard now with James having several drafts prepared, looking at both targeting a Bench Boost in GW32 and GW33, what difference aiming to Free Hit in GW33 would make, what planning to Free Hit in GW33 might change and there's also coverage of what those without a Free Hit may want to do and includes a set up that makes a Bench Boost viable. Many of the drafts discussed look similar and there will be some groupthink at play with Crystal Palace and Manchester City playing teams in the bottom three and now projected to Double in 33, but there is a repeated warning that the projections may be wrong.
