Likefolio's Landon Swan thinks Chipotle (CMG) has a low bar to clear for its earnings this quarter. They've blamed some of their struggles on the lower-end consumer eating out less, but Landon thinks consumers may have just switched to other brands. He cites price, portion sizes, and the perception of value at issue for CMG. Overall, he says Chipotle is “getting it wrong right now,” but is neither bullish nor bearish. ======== Schwab Network ========Empowering every investor and trader, every market day.Options involve risks and are not suitable for all investors. Paul Goode, President and CEO of Glucotrack, discusses the evolution and future of continuous glucose and continuous blood glucose monitoring for people with diabetes, as well as opportunities for implantable CMG monitors. In addition to convenience and comfort, the Glucotrack implantable CGM monitor is designed to be more accurate and measure blood glucose. This approach eliminates the lag time associated with wearable CGMs that measure interstitial fluid, enabling faster, more effective treatment decisions. Paul explains, "When you look at the market penetration of CGM in the US, even for those who are covered with insurance, because it is a standard of care in a large portion of patients with diabetes, it's still only a little over 50%. And when you try to understand why, it's because the technology works well, it's pretty accurate, and it helps patients. Market research shows that it's a collection of various reasons." "When we realized that a large majority of the problems with use of current CGMs, whether people are using them, or people don't want to use them, a lot of these, let's call them hassle factors or discomfort factors, were because it was a wearable product. So we said, well, let's go inside the body, and that resolves almost all of those types of problems." "Then we said, well, if we're in the body, we can also measure the glucose that's in the blood, actually measure blood glucose. Most folks don't realize that many do, but many don't, that CGM, the wearable CGMs, measure the interstitial fluid and not the actual blood glucose. And typically that's not a problem. There is a time lag between blood glucose and interstitial fluid, with interstitial fluid lagging behind anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes. But that's usually only a problem during rapid rates of change, for example, when one is eating, exercising, or sick. In today's episode of The Real Stuff, I'm sitting down with Samantha Diamond, CEO and co-founder of Bird & Be, a company born out of her personal experience with PCOS, pregnancy loss, and the deep gaps in reproductive health education. Despite being married to an OB/GYN, Samantha realized she still didn't understand her cycle, fertility window, or the silent struggles that so many women face—until she became one of them.We talk candidly about how hormonal birth control masked her PCOS for years, her experience with pregnancy loss and infertility, and why fertility is not just a woman's issue (hi, sperm!).We also discuss the shame and confusion so many couples face while trying to conceive, and how she used her background in beauty and CMG to build a company that's changing the game for modern fertility support.Bird&Be offers everything from at-home fertility tests to prenatals for both men and women, but this episode isn't just about products; it's about empowerment. Samantha opens up about the emotional toll of TTC, how the packaging of fertility products made her feel unseen, and why redefining pregnancy culture is so important.Whether you're navigating PCOS, thinking about your fertility future, or supporting someone through a difficult season, this conversation is for you.Visit birdandbe.com and use code REALSTUFF for 15% off your first purchase.Follow Samantha on IG: @startupmammaWatch this episode in video form on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjmevEcbh5h5FEX0pazPEtN86t7eb2OgX To apply to be a guest on the show, visit luciefink.com/apply and send us your story. Send us comments, suggestions and ideas here! In this week's episode we embark on part 3 of our deep scan into the dimly lit chambers of Cyber Magick with the guidance of our programmer friend Chillz who volunteered this week to take the helm and guide our little discussion into the watery abyss yet unexplored. In the first half, we discuss what technology has to do with the Age of Aquarius along with its occult counter-part, the energies of Leo and how the field of Cybernetics was born in the first place. From there we discuss how cybernetic teleology was applied to spirituality through the work of Mike Morgan, Peter Carroll and of course Frater U.D. who was the guy responsible for splintering the Initiates of Thanatos after introducing its members to Nazi ice magick. Before wrapping up the free side we discuss how to perform Thumbnail Cartomancy along with some variants before flipping the tape and continuing in the extended side with TTS Yoking, Loop Mantras, Sigil Visualizers and of course, Videogame Mystery Plays. In the final episode of 2025, Jason and Jeff empty the mailbag to answer listener questions about managing sudden wealth, tax strategies, and portfolio management. They debate the pros and cons of rebalancing versus letting your winners run (featuring a look at Jason's highly concentrated Roth IRA) and discuss how to handle a financial windfall like an inheritance. The hosts also break down the risks of complex conglomerates like Brookfield, analyze whether MTY Food Group is a value play or a value trap, and give their unfiltered take on whether recent political news finally makes Cannabis stocks investable.00:23 Listener Mailbag and Community Engagement03:09 First Listener Question: Balancing Financial Results and Industry Knowledge06:50 Using AI Tools for Investment Research08:27 Real-World Examples and Industry Research11:04 Brookfield Corporation: Legal Issues and Investment Risks14:50 MTY Foods: Cash Flow and Investment Potential22:28 Rebalancing Portfolios: Strategies and Considerations26:10 Risk Management in Asset Allocation26:54 Personal Investment Stories and Lessons28:21 Strategies for 401k, Roth, and Brokerage Accounts37:29 Handling Inheritance and Tax Implications45:26 Investing in Cannabis Stocks50:54 Conclusion and Viewer EngagementCompanies mentioned: AEO, AMZN, BN, CAVA, CMG, CRWD, CTRE, DRI, EAT, EPR, GOOGL, LOB, MCD, MELI, MO, MTY, NFLX, NUE, STLD, TAP, TSM, YUM*****************************************Join our PatreonSubscribe to our portfolio on Savvy Trader *****************************************Email: investingunscripted@gmail.comTwitter: @InvestingPodCheck out our YouTube channel for more content: ******************************************To get 15% off any paid plan at fiscal.ai, visit https://fiscal.ai/unscripted******************************************Listen to the Chit Chat Stocks Podcast for discussions on stocks, financial markets, super investors, and more.
