Television's favourite serial killer is set to return after an eight-year hiatus. The new series titled, Dexter: New Blood is set to premiere in November this year. The critically acclaimed show was arguably the most popular on television at the time but was let down by its underwhelming finale. The new limited series hopes to give Dexter Morgan a fitting farewell. So, here are some interesting trivia about Dexter, aka The Bay Harbour Butcher. 1. Jennifer Carpenter and John Lithgow will reprise their roles as Deborah Morgan and The Trinity Killer respectively for the upcoming limited series Dexter: New Blood, despite their characters being killed off in the original series.2. For the final season of Dexter, actor David Zayas, who played series regular Angel Batista, was replaced by his son David Zayas Jr as a stand-in for a few shots because of how similar they looked. 3. In season one of Dexter, he uses an alias to steal tranquillizer drugs. The alias he used was Patrick Bateman, which is Christian Bale's character from the film American Psycho4. The character Arthur Mitchel aka the Trinity Killer, played by John Lithgow has parallels to real-life serial killer, BTK Killer. They both led normal lives with families, and both were well-respected members of society. The BTK killer also features heavily in David Fincher's Netflix show, Mindhunter. That's some lesser-known trivia about Dexter for you on OTTplay Now You Know, I shall be back with another film or show soon, until then it's Nikhil outta here.

WCLS in Whatcom County presents Library Stories

On Sunday, November 14, 2021, the Nooksack River flooded communities throughout Whatcom County. Hardest hit was the city of Sumas with some estimates saying 75 to 85% of homes affected. The Sumas Library had up to 24 inches of water in the building but thanks to the resourcefulness of Sumas and Everson Library staff, much of the collection and equipment was saved from destruction. WCLS staff members, Cayla Samms, Paul Fullner, Deborah Morgan and Lisa Gresham talk about their experiences protecting and salvaging books and materials at the Sumas Library during and after the flood. If you need help or support or if you are looking to volunteer or donate to help the flood victims, visit our Community Resources page. Deborah Morgan is the creator and head revolutionary at Kid's Health Revolution, a resource and community for parents of kids with chronic health conditions. She is the fierce mama bear of one busy little boy who was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition at just 2 years old. She was told there was very little that could be done, but Deborah refused to give up. She did what everyone told her couldn't be done and used diet and natural approaches to dramatically improve her son's health. This experience inspired her quest to transform the way we approach children's health, by supporting parents in using the essential tools of nutrition, microflora balancing and lifestyle. Feeling lost and overwhelmed in the search for solutions to help her son almost stopped Deborah from taking action, it is why she founded Kid's Health Revolution. A safe place for parents to find a sense of community, to feel less alone, to find trustworthy information based on both science and personal success and to feel empowered to take action. Deborah is a Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant and GAPS certified practitioner. Loneliness

In recent months most of us have experienced greater isolation than we could ever have imagined. For some this unexpected solitude has been a welcome relief, a chance to reflect and take stock, but for others it has been accompanied by profound feelings of loneliness. Loneliness can affect people of any age, and most of us will feel lonely at some point in our lives. We hear from three different people in Wales about their experiences of loneliness. Zahra is a Muslim and made a new home in Cardiff aged forty-five when she was forced to flee from Iran. She found a route out of loneliness through a FAN (Friends and Neighbours) group in Canton. University chaplain Rev. Sam Aldred tells us about loneliness in the student community, and we meet Katie, a young student who is missing her church community due to the Corona virus lockdown. At St. Mary’s Malpas in Newport a Dementia Café run by Rev. Rebecca Stevens is reaching out to the isolated in her community. She discovered that it wasn’t only those suffering from dementia who were lonely, but their carers were too. Retired vicar Rev. Henry Davies tells us how the café has offered support. We ask whether faith communities have something unique to offer when it comes to loneliness - does having a faith make any difference? Experts Rev. Professor James Woodward, Principal of Sarum College, Salisbury, and Dr Deborah Morgan, senior researcher at the Centre for Innovative Ageing at Swansea University, offer their perspectives.

054 - Deborah Morgan, healing our child's gut to solve ADHD, autoimmune and other chronic illness, while keeping it realistic

Kids Eating Broccoli Podcast with Dr. Brad Ellisor - Children's Health, Family Health

I’m Deborah Morgan, creator of Kids Health Revolution and fierce mama bear to one busy little boy.  It is excruciating to watch our kids struggle with health issues, feeling helpless. My son was two when we got the news that he had an autoimmune condition. It was even more devastating to be told we would just have to live with it and that it might get worse. I struggled with it for a long time and spent countless hours doing research, reading scientific articles, attending seminars and online summits and even went back to school! We’ve spent thousands of dollars with functional medicine doctors and naturopaths. It was overwhelming and there were moments I almost threw my hands up and gave up. But I didn't and my son’s autoimmune symptoms have been steadily improving! Now I understand that we are not powerless to improve our children's health. I helped my son when everyone told me I couldn't. Now it is my labour of love to ensure that no parent misses the chance to make a difference in their child's health! Together we can make an enormous impact on the health and future of our children.
