A storyline from the late '80s is revived, stirring up questions regarding Leo's paternity. Diana, back then, had claimed John Black (Drake Hogestyn) to be Leo's father. Now, the popular soap opera teases a potential twist in the tale.  Previously, Diana had attempted to steal John from Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and had even poisoned her. Arrested for attempted murder, Diana confessed to tampering with the DNA test that had confirmed John as Leo's father. This revelation devastated Leo and upset John.  This week, Leo, currently in therapy with Marlena, decides to confront his mother in Statesville prison. As Leo prepares his speech, it is speculated that Diana may drop another bombshell. Will she confess to lying about lying, confirming that John is indeed Leo's father? Or will she further complicate matters by admitting uncertainty about the truth on DOOL?  The storyline could take an interesting turn if John is revealed to be Leo's father, providing Leo with more family and integrating him more fully into the character canvas of Salem. The confrontation with Diana promises to be a dramatic affair, potentially providing Leo with some closure and setting the stage for his new love interest, a character named Dario Hernandez played by Al Calderon.
