Another week in self-isolation is in the books and that means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is here to get you set for the weekend or whatever you're calling Saturday and Sunday at this point. This week, we look at the potential return for Jesse Puljujarvi, the NHL Entry Draft, some dark Oilers history, and a whole lot more. To open up today's podcast, we got started with a look at the NHL Entry Draft which the league is hoping to hold in early June despite the season not being finished yet, so we walked through some of the potential problems and opportunities that they'll be facing if this plan moves forward. Sticking with the draft, we then discussed whether or not Ken Holland should try and add more draft picks in what has been described as a very deep draft class. Maybe this is the year where we see the Oilers trade down to try and get more darts to throw at the board? Speaking of acquiring picks, that idea took us down the road of potentially trading Jesse Pulujarvi and what would be an acceptable return for the former fourth overall pick. Would Holland be happy to collect a few draft picks for Puljujarvi or would he need a warm body coming back that can play on the roster? Finally, to close out this week's show, the boys walked through some of their favourite memories from the 2006 Cup run after Dwayne Roloson, Jarret Stoll, and Ethan Moreau jumped on a conference call this past week to discuss that magical spring. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
