Riley and Derek start the hockey talk by congratulating the Florida Panthers on winning the Stanley Cup over the Edmonton Oilers. They jump to the Flyers offseason with Matvei Michkov getting out of his KHL deal and signing with the Flyers, who he may play with, and how many points he could put up. Outside of Matvei they discuss Philly re-signing Garnet Hathaway and Erik Johnson, buying out Cam Atkinson, and not retaining Carter Hart's signing rights. Jumping across the league they start off with the Steven Stamkos saga, the Lightning adding Jake Guentzel, extending Victor Hedman, trading Mikhail Sergachev, and the Nashville Predators being aggressive bringing in Jonathan Marchessault and Brady Skjei. Heading over to Carolina they talk about a couple former Flyers Shayne Gostisbehere and Sean Walker joining the Hurricanes, Patrick Kane staying in Detroit, Jakob Chychrun questionable trade to the Capitals, Shane Pinto re-signing in Ottawa, and Sean Monahan going to the Blue Jackets.
