Burnham kapitány és a Discovery titkos megbízást kapnak, melynek során egy 800 éves romulán hajót kell átvizsgálniuk. Blood of Zeus Season 2 is out now and we sat down to speak with Elias Toufexis, the voice of Seraphim. From villain to a co-lead of the series, this season puts him on a path toward atoning for his past, without seeking redemption for himself in the process. Toufexis takes us into his process as an actor and how he sees Seraphim developing in Season 2 and the future.
[Discovery 507 review starts at 24:00] Laurie is still away on vacation, so once again Shuttle Pod’s Matt Wright joins Anthony to talk about the Trek news of the week, and again we start with the chaos at Paramount Global as they continue talks with Skydance and Sony/Apollo, with our analysis of what this all could mean for Star Trek’s future. In better news, the Star Trek franchise just won a Peabody Award. We then catch up with the latest from some Kirks: Chris Pine wondering why Star Trek 4 needs yet another screenwriter, and William Shatner pondering the possibility of returning to Trek through the magic of CGI de-aging. Turning to Star Trek: Discovery, they get an update from Doug Jones explaining his mid-season absence (he took time off to promote Hocus Pocus 2) before rolling in some audio from Tony’s new interview with actor Elias Toufexis, including what it was like for him to perform as L’ak in “Erigah” in full makeup in a bed for the whole episode. The avowed Star Trek fan also took on a nitpicky question about the Breen from “Erigah” as well. NOTE: The full interview with Elias will be going up on TrekMovie.com this weekend. We then rolled in our previously recorded review with Laurie for “Erigah” where she and Tony agreed it was a strong fast-paced episode that got a lot done for the season plot and the characters, with a lot of fun from Reno and more. Matt sticks around for bits of the week, where we take a look at Michelle Yeoh’s Presidential Medal of Freedom, and a recently unearthed film from one of the fist Star Trek conventions in the 1970s.

An unannounced Deus Ex game has been unceremoniously canceled by Embracer Group. And according to the voice actor of Jensen, it sounds like this game wasn't going to feature the main protagonist anyway. So maybe it's GOOD that it got canceled? ➡️ Tip Jar and Fan Support: http://ClownfishSupport.com ➡️ Official Merch Store: http://ShopClownfish.com ➡️ Official Website: http://ClownfishGaming.net Additional Context: In the ever-tumultuous universe of gaming, the recent cancellation of an unannounced Deus Ex game by Embracer Group has stirred up the cybernetic community. Embracer Group, grappling with financial turbulence following a failed deal with Savvy Games Group, a Saudi government-funded company, has been on a cost-cutting spree. This has led to layoffs across various studios, including Eidos Montreal, the developers behind the Deus Ex franchise. Unfortunately, 97 developers from Eidos Montreal were laid off as part of this restructuring. What makes this cancellation intriguing is the hint that the game might not have featured Adam Jensen, the iconic protagonist of the series. Elias Toufexis, the voice actor for Jensen, indicated on Twitter that he had not been contacted for any work on a Deus Ex project in the past two years. This suggests that the now-canceled game likely did not involve Jensen's story. While some fans might feel relieved that a non-Jensen Deus Ex game won't see the light of day, it's important to remember the human cost of such cancellations in the gaming industry. The layoffs at Eidos Montreal are a stark reminder of the volatility and challenges faced by game developers. The future of the Deus Ex franchise remains uncertain under the ownership of Embracer Group, especially after this recent development. Fans of the series are left to wonder what could have been and what the future holds for this beloved cyberpunk saga. Az Enterprise tisztjei egy öt évvel ezelőtti küldetést elemeznek, melynek során a USS Victory leszállócsapata a Tarchannen III előörsöt vizsgálta át. A friss információk alapján a kutatás résztvevői egytől-egyig elhagyták a szolgálati helyüket, a csapat tagjai pedig újra a Tarchannen kolóniára vették az irányt. Mivel a helyszínen La Forge és barátja, Susanna Leijten is jelen voltak, az ismeretlen erő valószínűleg őket is visszatérésre fogja késztetni. Ben and Tao rock out with their Gods out adventuring through the beautiful, peacefully fraught open world of Breath of the Wild wannabe, Immortals Fenyx Rising (no colon). After introducing the pre-jingle jingle - a novel feature nobody asked for - they discuss what makes great comedy writing in games, the power of narration (reliable or otherwise), how first instincts can be misguided, keeping things fresh with limited game mechanics, and the merits of learning about Greek Mythology, be it through games or literature. Story spoilers are dramatically announced around half way through, but some minor game spoilers appear earlier on. Content Warning: PEGI 12.
