Ese histórico día a nadie se le hubiera ocurrido que en el transcurso de sesenta años se difundiría, sin interrupción, dieciocho mil setecientos veinte días de lunes a sábado, no sólo por radio sino luego también por televisión y por la prensa escrita en más de treinta países, y posteriormente vía Internet y las redes sociales abarcando todo el mundo. De ahí que la voz de Pablo Finkenbinder, conocido internacionalmente como el Hermano Pablo, tal vez llegó a ser la voz más escuchada en todo el mundo hispanohablante. Y de ahí la magnitud de la responsabilidad que le entregó a este servidor, Carlos Rey, ya que a partir de 1996 el Hermano Pablo, a los setenta y cinco años de edad, deseando un merecido descanso del ajetreo diario de la preparación y producción de Un Mensaje a la Conciencia, dejó de grabar mensajes suyos. El reconocido veterano de los medios de comunicación decidió que a partir de esa fecha todos los nuevos mensajes los grabaría su sucesor. En 1970 se produjeron setenta y dos Mensajes a la Conciencia en cintas de 16 milímetros, que se comenzaron a transmitir por televisión en Lima, Perú. Pero no fue sino hasta 1980 que se produjeron los primeros cien programas en video, lo que abrió paso a una distribución más amplia por televisión. La primera columna de prensa del Hermano Pablo fue publicada en 1971 en la Prensa Gráfica de El Salvador. La primera columna electrónica de Un Mensaje a la Conciencia, vía Internet, apareció en www.conciencia.net en 1998, y actualmente en ese sitio, las veinticuatro horas del día, se pueden leer, escuchar e incluso ver en video todos los mensajes difundidos desde el año 2004. Tal vez la descripción más acertada que se le haya dado a Un Mensaje a la Conciencia sea la que le dio el gerente general de Panamericana Televisión en Lima, Perú, quien calificó el programa como espiritual sin ser religioso. There is much to discuss on the show today as Dan Rubin joins Dave Biddle. It sure appears as though Ohio State has its QB1 and he is Kyle McCord. Will Ryan Day say as much this week? Or let things play out one more week before making any grand proclamations? Also on the agenda: * McCord looked sharp against Youngstown State, but the offense overall was a bit choppy. How concerned are we about this? * Here is a stat we do not like seeing: the Buckeyes rank 114th in the country in third down conversions. They better get that cleaned up in a hurry. * Denzel Burke is stepping up at cornerback for OSU.  * Mike Hall and Tyleik Williams look good at defensive tackle. * But OSU isn't getting much production from J.T. Tuimoloau and Jack Sawyer off the edge. What gives there? * What do we make of the situation at running back with TreVeyon Henderson, Miyan Williams and Chip Trayanum all seeing roughly the same workload against YSU?
