A Friss Hús fesztiválos gonzó podcastsorozat utolsó előtti adásában Beton. A Friss Hús fesztiválos gonzó podcastsorozatunk második részében monstre beszélgetést folytatok Tóth Barnabással, a kultikus/legendás (terep)SZEMLE című filmsorozat végre elkészült harmadik részéről. A „Teljesség felé” című koncerten húsz zenész barát, köztük Sebő Ferenc, Sebestyén Márta, Szalóki Ági és Szirtes Edina Mókus lép színpadra. A Sláger FM-en minden este 22 órakor a kultúráé a főszerep S. TL;DR In a sentence: We are shifting our strategic focus to put our proactive effort towards helping people work on safely navigating the transition to a world with AGI, while keeping our existing content up. In more detail: We think it's plausible that frontier AI companies will develop AGI by 2030. Given the significant risks involved, and the fairly limited amount of work that's been done to reduce these risks, 80,000 Hours is adopting a new strategic approach to focus our efforts in this area. During 2025, we are prioritising: Deepening our understanding as an organisation of how to improve the chances that the development of AI goes well Communicating why and how people can contribute to reducing the risks Connecting our users with impactful roles in this field And fostering an internal culture which helps us to achieve these goals We remain focused on impactful [...] ---Outline:(01:44) Why we're updating our strategic direction(04:02) How we hope to achieve it(05:44) Community implications(08:38) Potential questions you might have(08:42) What does this mean for non-AI cause areas?(10:44) How big a shift is this from 80k's status quo?(11:58) Are EA values still important?(13:36) What would cause us to change our approach?--- First published: March 20th, 2025 Source: https://forum.effectivealtruism.org/posts/4ZE3pfwDKqRRNRggL/80-000-hours-is-shifting-our-strategic-approach-to-focus --- Narrated by TYPE III AUDIO.
Ezáltal nemcsak a magyar közösségek életét gazdagította, hanem értékes tapasztalatokat is szerzett arról, milyen magyarként külföldön élni és a gyökereket megőrizni.

Niel Harper is a Certified Director and ISACA Board Vice Chair. He is also the Chief Information Security Officer and Data Protection Officer at Doodle. Niel is based in Germany. He has more than 20 years of experience in IT risk management, cybersecurity, privacy, Internet governance and policy, and digital transformation. Safia Kazi is the Privacy Professional Practices Principal at ISACA. She has worked at ISACA for just over a decade, initially working on ISACA's periodicals and now serving as the Privacy Professional Practices Principal. She is based in Chicago. In 2021, she was a recipient of the AM&P Network's Emerging Leader award, which recognizes innovative association publishing professionals under the age of 35. In this episode… ISACA's State of Privacy 2025 survey reveals that privacy professionals are facing significant hurdles, including staffing shortages, budget cuts, and increasing demands for technical privacy expertise. Many organizations are shifting privacy responsibilities to legal and security teams, without additional resources or training. At the same time, AI adoption is increasing, introducing new complexities and risks. With privacy budgets under strain and teams expected to do more with less, how can businesses sustain effective privacy programs while navigating new challenges? According to ISACA's State of Privacy 2025 survey, one of the most pressing concerns for privacy teams is the growing demand for technical privacy expertise. Privacy by design also remains a challenge, with limited resources making it difficult for teams to embed privacy into product development from the outset. AI also plays a growing role in privacy operations, helping automate processes while raising concerns about data security, bias, and third-party risks. Despite these findings from ISACA's survey, businesses can make privacy sustainable by fostering a culture of privacy awareness from the top down, ensuring leadership understands the value of privacy beyond compliance. In this episode of She Said Privacy/He Said Security, Jodi and Justin Daniels speak with Niel Harper, Certified Director and Board Vice Chair at ISACA and CISO and DPO at Doodle, and Safia Kazi, Privacy Professional Practices Principal at ISACA, about the findings from ISACA's State of Privacy 2025 survey. Safia explains how privacy professionals can adapt to changes by continuously learning and staying informed on emerging risks, while Niel highlights the need for board-level privacy advocacy. They also explore how organizations are adapting to staffing shortages and budget constraints, the impact of AI on privacy operations, and how organizations can effectively navigate emerging risks.
I ask my audience what their top pet peeves are just drive them nuts. We're spilling the beans on all the annoying things that make us want to tear our hair out while listening. We've got it all covered from podcasters who take forever to get to the good stuff to the dreaded mid-sentence ads that pop up like uninvited guests at a party. We also chat about the classic blunders that drive listeners nuts, like out-of-context clips and those cringe-worthy audio issues. So, grab your headphones and get ready to laugh and commiserate as we call out all the podcasting faux pas that need to be put to rest! Thanks to the Participants in This EpisodeSteve Stewart from SteveStewart.me and the Podcast Editor AcademyKim Newlove from the Pharmacist's Voice and the Perrysburg PodcastMark Lawley from the Practical Prepping show. Volume fluctuations between hosts and guests are a major annoyance that can ruin a podcast. Out-of-context clips at the start of a podcast are confusing and just plain unnecessary. Too many commercials can turn a great podcast into a frustrating experience for listeners. Not including show notes wastes listeners' time and makes it hard to follow up on interesting topics. Nearly 14 years ago, while serving as an HR Director for a major Manchester charity, Niel Cope identified a gap in the market - local businesses lacking the right HR support and infrastructure. With a deep passion for helping organizations manage and develop their people, Niel took the leap, launching a business in the midst of a recession, with five kids, a big mortgage, and no clients. Today, that bold decision has grown into a thriving venture, making a real impact on businesses and their people. People Matters HR is now a growing company based in Bury, Greater Manchester, specializing in providing tailored HR and Health & Safety support to businesses of all sizes. In a wide-ranging discussion, Niel and I talked about: ✅ Identifying a market gap and launching an HR consultancy business. ✅ Balancing family responsibilities while transitioning to entrepreneurship. ✅ The impact of networking on People Matters HR's early growth. ✅ Pricing strategies for client acquisition and business sustainability. ✅ Transitioning out of daily operations for long-term success. ✅ The role of branding and SEO in driving business growth. ✅ Expanding into leadership development beyond compliance work. Today I want to share a story about life. Told through the lens of death. My dear friend Niel passed away the other day. He was young. It was sudden and unexpected. He's survived by his incredible wife and 11 year old daughter. He was my brother. Best friend to my husband. We raised kids together. Built businesses together. I figured we'd all be growing old together, wrinkled and laughing, remembering the times when we hustled in our businesses while raising our kids and trying to make every moment count. Always running and building, hugging and loving. We would laugh at all the mistakes we made, shaking our old heads with just a tinge of regret for all the ways we stressed about money, family tiffs, or roadblocks. We would know that none of that really mattered. We would know that everything has a way of working out in our favor. We would know that none of that shit was worth holding. We would share stories about our grandbabies in between rounds of Shiesty Monopoly and talk about new projects and dreams as we laughed. Noemi and I would roll our eyes while the boys razzed each other for hours, and we'd reminisce about all the memories we collected. Funny how our minds automatically assume these futures with those we love. *** When death looks us in the eyes and reminds us that we will all eventually hold its hand, life becomes clear. If death were to look you in the eyes today, what clarity would you have? How would the things in your life sort out? *** Today, I'm choosing to take death's stare and use the clarity it's given me to move through my life with a little more fire. A little more intention. A little more courage to be fully me and proactively create my life with every breath. More love. Less stress. More hugs. Less ego. More I love you's. Less judgments. And a fullness knowing that we are all connected. In life, and in death. Nemrégiben telt házas lett a Müpában a Bermuda zenekar legújabb vállalkozása, a regényzene albumként definiált, a Szerb Antal: Utas és holdvilág című könyvén alapuló lemezbemutató, amely az író halálának nyolcvanadik évfordulójára készült. A Bermuda (Mórocz Tamás, Urbán Dániel) furcsa karrierje a 2010-es évek egyik legjátszottabb magyar produkcióját jelenti, annak ellenére, hogy leginkább a rádiós-tévés-online térben volt jelen (Monte-Carlo, London stb.), élőben viszonylag ritkán jelentek meg. A társalapító Urbán Dani a Wanted podcast 2025-ös évadának első vendége, aki már a Bermudát megelőző időszakban is az indie színtér ismert figurája volt, hiszen a kilencvenes évek kezdeti zenekari próbálkozásaitól kezdve az ezredforduló táján egyszer csak belecsöppent a magyar elektronikus zenei világba és Marcel menedzsere lett, majd a kétezres évek közepén a Puzzle zenekar brit karrierjét próbálta beindítani.- Beszélünk a kezdetekről, hol találkozott először Bérczesi Robival és a BlaBlával,- Marcel mellett ismét feltűnik Yonderboi, Zságer Balázs és Széll László és a nemzetközi befutás lehetősége,- milyen tanulságai vannak annak, ha kelet-európaiként asztalt kapsz Alan McGee irodájában, de mégsem fut be az általad menedzselt zenekar,- hogyan voltak olyan bevételei a Bermudának a 2010-es években, mint egy jól működő, turnézó sikeres produkciónak, - hogyan engedték el Mórocz Tomival a jelenre reflektáló slágereket és váltottak a Szerb Antal-i attitűdre a Platán sörözőben- hogyan zajlott a Szerb Antal-emléktábla avatás,- milyen a munkakapcsolata a Carson Comával és Pogány Indulóval.Műsorvezető: Bihari Balázs, Németh RóbertA Wanted podcast az NKA Hangfoglaló program támogatásával készült.

Szexuális zaklatás – P Diddy be trollkodta magát a podkesztünkbe 3. Halloween és Valentin-nap – Magyarország vs. Amerika 4.
