In this powerful message, we're invited to explore the mind of God and His infinite wisdom. The central theme revolves around Isaiah 55:8-9, reminding us that God's thoughts and ways are higher than ours. We're challenged to seek a 'thought transplant' - aligning our thinking with God's perspective. This isn't just about knowledge, but about transformation. The message emphasizes that God has an opinion about everything in our lives, knows us intimately, and has something to say about every situation we face. We're encouraged to trust in His word, which never returns void, rather than following our own hearts or the world's wisdom. This perspective shift can bring peace and direction in the midst of life's challenges, reminding us that even when we're surprised, God never is. As we learn to think like God thinks, we'll naturally want to pray more, care more, and align our lives with His purposes.
This is Pastor Tom Arnould, welcoming you to the Good News Radio Broadcast. Psalm 139 reads, "How precious are your thoughts about me, O God! How vast is the sum of them?" The Bible reveals to us the things that are in the forefront of the mind of God. We are called to live our lives being passionate about the same things that God is passionate about.

You mean to tell me that to find the people of the Abrahamic covenant, you had to look in their PANTS? Exactly. What was God thinking? Why this surgical and perhaps strange cutting of circumcision? We'll also zoom forward to the New Covenant. Fortunately there, we don't need to look in your PANTS, but we need to look even DEEPER at your HEART. Being spiritual doesn't mean that we suddenly have an easy life. Often, we need to take risks and step out of our comfort zone to discover the secrets of life that lie beyond fear. Trusting God requires a lot of courage and faith. Remembering many of her past lives had a significant impact on her understanding that there is more than just this one life.Daya, who has had a long spiritual journey, moving 37 times around the globe, managing different businesses, and raising children, including Swami Revatikaanta, inspires others with her life story to take this risk and dive deep into spirituality. When Krishna appeared to her in a vision and told her about her son, her life began to change, ultimately leading her to a significant part of her journey: meeting the guru she already knew from a previous incarnation.Watch Thinking Bhakti on YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/@SwamiRevatikaantaofficial

Stepping out into the unknown with God is made possible through His grace bestowed upon us, and the evidence of His faithfulness He gives us. "Build A Boat" by Colton Dixon sings about walking with God to do the impossible. This is reflected in the life of Noah -- a man of great faith whose life is worth exploring. Are we aligning or maligning God's intentionality for all of creation?
"Thinking About God" (How we think about God is...super important)A.W. Tozer famously wrote, "What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." The implications of how we think about God have a holistic effect on our lives, ultimately giving shape to how we live. As we begin our new "Character of God" series, we start by defining theology and the importance of thinking well about God.
Like the earth, I look good (smooth, beautiful, etc.) from a distance. Up close, you are sure to discover bumpy spots, areas difficult to navigate, some dangerous places, and maybe even features that may cause you to wonder, “What was God thinking?” Thankfully Jesus routinely visits me to ‘smooth out my rough spots,' ‘soften my hard edges,' and ‘bless my growth.' “You visit the earth... You settle its ridges, You soften it with showers, You bless its growth.” Psalm 65.9-10

As we conclude the "Here I Am! Send Me!" discipleship series, we come to the final truth from Psalm 139 which teaches us, "I Am On God's Mind."All of us are thinking about so many things in life right now, but the Bible teaches that - while God is well aware of all the things in our lives and society we are thinking about - He is also thinking about us. What does this mean for our lives? How can this encourage us? What truth can this help us speak into the next generation. Psalm 139:17-18 tells us, and this podcast reminds us.The discipleship conversation that goes along with this episode is available at: "Here I Am! Lockdown Devotional Day 6 - What Is God Thinking About by Cross Culture
Very few topics are as tough to talk about to teens as the topic of sex. Middle schoolers are bombarded with culture's messages of sex but likely have little exposure to the biblical view. This series certainly won't answer all their questions (in fact, it may serve to raise a bunch of new ones), but it will expose your students to a biblical understanding of God's plan for sex, where society has gone wrong and what a middle schooler can do about it all. Tonight we kick off the series by talking about God's plan for sex. Tonight we want to try to understand what God was thinking. Despite all the myths when it comes to sex, God had a plan. God's plan for sex to be between a man and a woman within the relationship of marriage. Sex outside of a man and woman and outside of marriage is outside of God's plan for sex. Even though there are lots of other different ideas about sex out in the world today, we'll help students see that God's plan is perfect.
