The last regulation episode of the season is upon us! This week, Scott, Seth, and Diana compete for the last spot in the season seven playoffs in the third elimination match of the Vancouver Rehearsal Tapes division. On the docket this week are games about real life commercial products popping up in pop culture, as well as telling us how to get to Sesame Street with a quiz about the parodies they've employed. All this, plus a lightning round! Our next episode is a special with three special guests from the iFanboy podcast network, and we'll be back two Mondays after that for the season seven playoffs! NOTES ⚠️ Inline notes below may be truncated due to podcast feed character limits. Full notes are always on the episode page.
This episode may be 4 days late and 7 dollars short, but as Socrates said, "You get what you get and you don't get upset!" Do biscuits go with ziti? Ridiculous laws, Guy Smiley's real name, #nonsensicals and This Vs. That.
Today, I shoot off my Muppet-sized mouth about the jobs numbers, cars that think it's 2002, Sidney Poitier, and -- off course -- COVID.

It's a New Year's Nifty Gifty! Today we are teaming up with the one and only justine from The Shore Store podcast to give you a NEW YEAR'S EVE MIRACLE! We put it to a vote and it was a resounding cry for this meager little pilot episode. No one knew what this show would be, but by gosh, Kody is working his best Guy Smiley energy to SELL THIS FAMILY TO AMERICA. Justine is a novice at this show, so of course Amanda and Jodie revel in being able to catch her up in all the minute details of this family history, from the wedding tacos, to the multiple flat tires, to the wet bar, to, of course, the nachos. It always comes back to the nachos. ENJOY and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

One of the first local punk bands I ever got into, back in the ‘90s, was Guy Smiley – and I never really stopped listening to them ever since. This episode is an interview with [Guy Smiley](http://epitaph.com/artists/guy-smiley/bio) frontman [Derek Kun](http://soundcloud.com/user-972004597-129956681), who went on to front Burnthe8track and is currently working on new material of his own. …and Derek has lots of stories from his heavy-touring career. Don't be surprised if I have him on the podcast for a part two!
