News: Construction walls are up as a piece of Disney California Adventure history is coming down as the Paradise Gardens gazebo is removed. The structure originally opened in 2001 as Santa Rosa Seed and Supply in the park's former Bountiful Valley Farm area before being relocated to Paradise Gardens in 2011. At Disney California Adventure, exterior work continues on The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure, while the walkway between Avengers Campus and Cars Land has recently reopened after an extended closure. These booths are being removed to make way for the new pedestrian bridge that will cross Harbor Boulevard. The project will connect the esplanade to a future parking structure and transportation hub. The four recently removed booths join two others that were previously demolished, leaving only two ticket booths remaining in the esplanade area. Those two booths remain open, and guests can also purchase tickets in person at the Lost and Found booth. Demolition equipment remains on site as work continues. The new parking and transportation complex is planned for the current Cast Member parking lot and will include approximately 6,000 parking spaces, electric vehicle charging stations, rideshare and shuttle facilities, and security screening. The franchise was originally founded by The Walt Disney Company in 1993 as the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, inspired by the hit Disney film. The interactive Old West town, with more than 100 targets, is back in operation, and the price is still just 50 cents for approximately 25 shots. Local food systems are of great importance to the Monterey Bay Region and, indeed, to California, and there is a growing number of small farms across the state supplying these systems.  Join Ronnie Lipschutz for a conversation with Josefina Lara Chavez, Executive Director of RegenerationLA, the Latine Alliance in Agroecology and the Food System, which has just launched Rancho Coyote Viejo in south San Benito County. The Rancho is a 25-acre pilot land access farm for beginning farmers practicing regenerative and organic agriculture, along with a demonstration farm to support RegenerationLA's educational and technical assistance activities.  The farm is an experimental collaboration with Paicines Ranch, south of Hollister, California, which owns the property. Regeneration LA seeks to strengthens networks of Latine farmers, food workers, and agricultural professionals through education and capacity building to create a robust food and farming system.
