Does someone have to know, understand, and believe all 28 to still be a part of the Seventh-day Adventist church? And what does the early Adventist's pursuit of "present truth" mean for us today? Hosted by Kaleb Eisele and Nina Vallado Guests: Frank Hasel, Joseph Kidder, George Knight, Ken Denslow, Stan Patterson CORRECTION: Ken Denslow is now serving as the President of the Lake Union Conference in Berrien Springs, Michigan.

How do we disagree? In today's culture and society, it seems like we are constantly in a disagreement with anyone that has a different perspective than we do. We see this in the political world, religious world and even in the line at the grocery store. Ok, maybe not the grocery store... You get the point though. So how can we disagree with someone without shutting them down or writing them off? Join Ryan and his guests as they navigate their own perspectives on this topic. Season 4 was shot and recorded at the Carolina Conference, Charlotte, NC and at Southern Adventist University, Collegedale, TN.Ryan's special guests for this season are made up of local pastors, students, Conference employees and church members in the Carolinas and employees of Southern Adventist University. According to Webster's dictionary, Identity is: "the fact of being who or what a person or thing is." So taking that definition then it is "being who we are in Christ," or "what I am in Christ." The question often is "how do I find my identity in Christ," however Ryan and his guest reword this question to "how do I put my identity in Christ?" Join Ryan and his two guests as they explore their journeys of putting their identity in Christ as Christians. Actively and intentionally listening to people's personal story can be just as healing as sharing the Gospel. Investing time in people who don't think how we think, or who don't live as we live, allows for us to not only learn from their stories but more importantly, to understand their story. As we seek to understand people's hearts, just as God does, God can use us to reflect the compassion and empathy of His character to people who may have never experienced Christianity this way.
