Join us on this special bonus episode of the Death to Life podcast, recorded in Nebraska, where we celebrate the transformative power of scripture. Our journey begins with Justin Khoe who shares how Romans 6:6 set him free from the shackles of sin, leading to a profound spiritual awakening. As we continue, various guests, including Jose and Eliana, offer heartfelt testimonies of how specific biblical passages guided them through personal trials and led them to a deeper understanding of their worth in Christ.Explore the richness of God's love through scriptures like Matthew 13:44-45, where we reveal how viewing ourselves as the precious pearls Christ sacrificed everything for can revolutionize our self-worth and everyday actions. Rich delves into the flesh versus spirit debate using Galatians 5:18 and Romans 8:10, shifting from a dualistic view of human nature to embracing our true identity in Christ. The discussion encourages us to live as new creations, free from the limitations of the carnal mind, and to understand the divine transformation that comes with this perspective. As we wrap up, Caitlin and Brian B. share their personal stories of finding peace and contentment through verses like Psalm 23:1, emphasizing a shift from a mindset of lack to one of abundance. Ruth's experience with Hosea 2 highlights the power of God's justice and love, providing comfort and assurance. Finally, we invite you to join Internet Church, an online community designed for authentic spiritual growth and fellowship. Actively and intentionally listening to people's personal story can be just as healing as sharing the Gospel. Investing time in people who don't think how we think, or who don't live as we live, allows for us to not only learn from their stories but more importantly, to understand their story. As we seek to understand people's hearts, just as God does, God can use us to reflect the compassion and empathy of His character to people who may have never experienced Christianity this way.

Welcome to the Restore Podcast episode 24. My name is Javier and I'm your host, along with my friend and colleague Rudy Alvir joining this episode as co-host. I hope that wherever or whatever you may be doing as you are listen that this podcast will be a catalyst to help you Restore the vision, Restore the mission, Restore the church. I always like to start by thanking everyone who is listening, has subscribed to this podcast, and and has shared it. I hope you continue to do so. I’ve been so excited to release this episode and, to be honest, the next ones we have coming are episodes you will definitely want to hear. But let me tell you a little bit about how I encountered my guest today on this episode. I had come across Justin Khoe's videos online and, as I did some checking and watched his YouTube videos, I felt impressed to try and get him on the podcast. Recently, I was in Michigan on the campus of Andrews University and, as I was walking and talking with a good friend, I ended up being introduced to Justin who was there to make a presentation at a conference happening that weekend. I don’t normally do this, but I immediately asked him if he would be interested in recording an episode. He said "yes," and we actually did it a few hours later that same day. Justin has a very unique and interesting story of why he started That Christian Vlogger as an outreach to spread the gospel. If you've heard of Justin, you will love this episode as he really opens up his heart. Logging gave Justin a great platform from which to share his faith because it was him, an individual, talking about it and living it out. This helps millennials connect more willingly with his message. Be relevant to your target audience. This doesn't mean avoiding truth or "watering down" the gospel. It means making the truth of who Jesus is applicable to the situations people find themselves in every single day. Some of Justin's most viewed videos were on dating, and the reason for this is that dating is something millennials spend a lot of time thinking about because it is a part of their day to day life. Ask yourself why someone would want to watch a video. Is it because they're asking a specific question? Are they looking for a different perspective on an issue? It might be different for different videos, but by being aware of this you can give your videos focus. Remember to promise the value you will be offering up front at the beginning of the video.
