Sheffield United plan for their date with destiny as they prepare to take on Sunderland in the Championship play-off final at Wembley, with our panel of Stuart Rayner, Leon Wobschall and host Mark Singleton assessing the Blades' chances of securing a return to the Premier League. They also ponder what is next for Hull City after the sacking of head coach Ruben Selles, who despite keeping the Tigers up on goal difference on the final day of the season, still found himself clearing his desk at the MKM Stadium. We also cast an eye over the heartache for York City and FC Halifax Town, who both fell to Oldham Athletic in the National League play-offs, before they review the respective League one campaigns – all disappointing – of Huddersfield Town, Barnsley and Rotherham United.

City put last week's poor performance behind them with arguably their best 90 minutes of league action so far this season when drawing 1-1 against Hull City at the MKM Stadium on Friday night. Trailing to a first half goal and having a Wells effort disallowed for a marginal offside in stoppage time they bounced back early in the 2nd half as the Bermudian made no mistake tucking the ball in from a Sykes cross for his first goal in open play for over 20 games. There were good performances in all departments but the main issue for City is clinical finishing in front of goal and with Weimann breaking down within a couple of minutes after coming on as a 75th minute sub there will be growing calls from the fanbase to relax the purse strings to sign another forward in the remaining days of the transfer window. DaveP, Ian, Mark & Neil analyse the match action, look forward to Tuesday's Carabao cup tie and speculate on transfers.

Back of the Net - The AFC Bournemouth Podcast

A chance to analyse the weekend's 0-0 at the MKM Stadium in Hull as AFC Bournemouth failed to display their attacking prowess, and instead, took part in a rather mind-numbing match against a side who were well organised, but equally impotent. It was a "Hull" of a journey as Boscombe fans traveled in their numbers up to East Riding of Yorkshire to face the Tigers - where we hoped that we would be able to maul them and leave them feeling far from "Grrreeeeat" - alas, the away side had little bite.
