Beşiktaş suffered a devastating 1-2 loss at home against Çaykur Rizespor in their final home match of the season, missing a golden opportunity to overtake Samsunspor for third place in the Süper Lig standings. Despite João Mário's quick equalizer after Samet Akaydin's header gave Rizespor the lead, the Black Eagles once again struggled to create clear chances — a recurring theme throughout a frustrating season. As news broke that Trabzonspor had taken the lead against Samsunspor late in the second half, hope briefly surged through the stands. But that hope was dashed when Rizespor's Adama Sowe capitalized on critical errors from late substitutes Emirhan Topçu and Yakup Arda, scoring a 91st-minute winner to silence the home crowd. Ole Gunnar Solskjær's tactical decisions drew heavy criticism, especially the removal of the lively Keny Arroyo early in the second half and a puzzling double substitution during stoppage time that proved disastrous. For the first time, Beşiktaş fans inside the stadium visibly turned on the Norwegian coach, with social media and Turkish press intensifying calls for a local managerial change.
Beşiktaş have done it again! The Black Eagles fly high in Kadıköy as they defeat arch-rivals Fenerbahçe 1-0 on the road, thanks to a crucial 44th-minute goal by Gedson Fernandes—just minutes after his missed penalty in the 36th! Making him the first foreigner to score against Fenerbahçe, Trabzonspor and Galatasaray in a single season since Mario Gomez in 2015-2016! This marks Beşiktaş's second win over Fenerbahçe this season, completing the double and effectively ending Fener's title hopes. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær now boasts two derby victories, including the iconic 2-1 triumph over Galatasaray on March 29.

Please COMMENT, LIKE & SUBSCRIBE! Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Beşiktaş have gone from a 6 match win streak to now back to back losses int he Turkish Süper Lig, following last week's abyssmal display against a 10-men Gaziantep. This time the Black Eagles may have hit a new low, as they lost against a 9 men Konyaspor! Despite the circumstances of the match going int heir favour with the hosts being reduced to 10-men in the first half after a horror tackle from Melih Bostan on the returning Gabriel Paulista. Despite being reduced to 10-men however, Konyaspor -- much like Trabzonspor earlier this season -- took the lead on a set-piece. But unlike earlier this season in Trabzon, the Black Eagles were completely unable to fight themselves back int he match. In the second half, with plenty of time on the clock, Konyaspor were even reduced to 9 men after Alassane Ndao saw his second yellow, but Beşiktaş were still completely uncapable of fighting themselves back int he match despite the two men advantage. Potentilaly a new low for them in this already lowpoint riddled season.
