This is a pour-a-cuppa kinda convo - Matilda Brown is a rare kind-of open book where nothing is off limits and despite not actually being her friend you get the distinct feeling that you must be. Flipping a childhood acting career for a regnerative food business wasn't part of her plan - actually nothing really is, this breath of fresh air claims to be “bumbling around with life, filling in time until she dies.” But her bumble is joyful & hopeful in the best way possible. She & her husband Scott Gooding are the brains & brawn behind the Good Farm pre prepared meals range & they've just released a cook book with the same name - its as delightful as she is - This is her story!Links You'll LoveThe Good Farm Shopthe Good Farm CookbookProvinirLoved this? Today's chat is with Scott Gooding, nutritionist, exercise coach, author and the founder of The Good Farm Shop. We covered what regenerative farming is and how it can positively impact our precious ecosystem and climate crisis, what the barriers are to its uptake from both a business and a consumer point of view, how extreme crises, like the pandemic, have impacted our values and the way we work, the impacts of media sensationalism and catastrophising on action and division of society, and much more. The Monica Kade Podcast: Health, Mindset, Career & Lifestyle
Welcome to episode 115 of The Monica Kade podcast. Today's guest is Australian actress, writer and director, Matilda Brown. Matilda is best known for her TV series Let's Talk About, Lessons from the Grave which she both wrote and directed, and acted in. Both starring opposite her father Bryan Brown. And most recently feature film Palm Beach — also starring her dad, and directed by her mother, Rachel Ward alongside an impressive Australian cast. And on the topic of family, Matilda and her partner Scott Gooding, (who has also been on the show earlier this year) have just become parents to little Zan. Today we're going to go behind the scenes of her upbringing, find out her journey into acting, talk creativity and what it's like being a first time mum. My conversation with Matilda was really inspiring. I loved her honesty coupled with her willingness to follow what fuels her fire-and what doesn't! While you won't find her hanging about on The Gram, you can simply embody the message of truth that she shares and look inward to see if you're living the life you want to be. Or if you're following society's "shoulds" and "have to's". LEARN ABOUT What was it like to grow up in well-knowing acting family Did her parents encourage her to get into acting What she loves about acting What made her start writing and directing What's changed her mind about the acting industry What it's like being a new mum How she sees the world since becoming a mother Why she left social media What she's gained from not being on social media SIGNATURE QUESTIONS If she wasn't in her current career what she'd like to attempt? What she believes is her best asset? A piece of wisdom she lives by today?

The Monica Kade Podcast: Health, Mindset, Career & Lifestyle
“I think there's this urge and almost a need to get healthy by the weekend, you know? So people are constantly trying to find this quick, fast-hard solution. I want to get fit, I want to get lean, I want to get healthy by the end of the month or maybe even two months. But it doesn't really work like that. Your health will be measured by what you do most of the time over the longest period of time.”- Scott Gooding, Ep77. The Monica Kade podcast In Episode 77 of The Monica Kade podcast, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Scott Gooding; passionate cook, health-coach and PT. I felt very welcome in his Northern Beaches tropical oasis filled with light and surrounded by luscious palms and of course, the cicadas reminding you it's summertime in Australia. I loved the laid-back beaches vibe that made you want to plonk yourself somewhere comfortable and disappear into a book, or pick up an acoustic guitar and play a little tune...Or try your hand at the 1000 piece puzzle that sat on the long communal table we sat down at. “It's a bit of a rock 'n' roll house”, Scott said with a grin as he showed me the image on the puzzle box. His mission was to piece together a group of colourful Australian animals eating ice creams. "The pastel colours in the background make it tricky..." he trailed off. If his name sounds familiar, it might be that you've seen him on the semi-finals of Channel 7s My Kitchen Rules. Or maybe you have one of his books—possibly one from his Clean Living book series with one of our past guests Luke Hines. More recently he's written The Keto Diet and The Keto Diet Cookbook, which we delved into in our conversation. We also chatted about his 8-week online health program giving you the essential ingredients to live a healthy lifestyle and feel great called RECONDITIONED. >>>Take a listen above and be sure to leave a review on iTunes sharing what you loved

Episode 7 - Simon Rosenbaum PhD - Director of Exercise Science & Researcher by Scott Gooding
This was not the conversation I had planned to have with Scott Gooding, but the best ones never are... You may know Scott from his stint on My Kitchen Rules, his extensive library of Clean Living cookbooks, his Bondi Beach bootcamps, or perhaps it's your penchant for tattoo clad Englishmen. In this episode we discuss: *Scott's upbringing in his parents pubs in the UK and what brought him to Australia. *His struggles with imposter syndrome when he first started working in the fitness industry. *How he leveraged his stint on reality television to spread his message. *His struggle with public speaking and how he overcame it. *Why following your purpose is more important than your failings as a human. *How to break through the glass ceilings and reach more people with your message. *Why exercise isn't his priority when it comes to teaching people about good health, and what is. *Debbie from Dubbo and why she's such an important person in Scott's life.
