We'll wrap on our sermon series on Sunday with an encouragement to pay attention to God's message. Paul will tell Timothy to be ready for anything and to be consistent as he continues to proclaim the gospel. Often we are very inconsistent with God's message and typically we only share when it's convenient or easy. God's Word will challenge us to be consistent, to be patient and to do the work that God has given us. Join us Sunday at 10:30am and discover ways that you can exercise your muscles of evangelism while leaving the results to God.

Strap in for a marathon-length message on "doing the work of an evangelist" and "fulfilling your ministry." We might be surprised to find out what that actually looks like. Even so, it's a charge for every disciple of Christ and part of God calling us to His heart.

Pastor Ross discusses how to live like a champion
Our text today contains the last words of a great evangelist, the Apostle Paul. This text makes two major points. The first provides the basis of faithful ministry, and the second describes the behaviors of faithfulness in ministry. If God can use Timothy and Paul, He can use you. Music by Casting Crowns.

Do you or your family enjoy camping? It can feel great to get away from everything that usually holds your focus, to enjoy the beauty of nature, and to enjoy it with people you care about. What's not so great is going camping and realizing you forgot something you needed: a sleeping bag, a flashlight, a lighter, clothing. Those are all important. God hasn't left us under-prepared for this journey we are on with Him. He has equipped us with all of the tools we'll need. This week we'll look into 2 Timothy 1 and discover more about the tool of being a "finisher".

A Charge to Keep, 2 Timothy 4:1-8
For a church service to be truly a time of worshipping God, there must be the heralding forth of God's Word to bring about reproof for sin, and encouragement to sinners that forgiveness and peace with God is theirs through repentance and faith.

In the final chapter of Paul's second letter to Timothy, he gives his final charges to Timothy while looking back at his own life in ministry. Paul sees his life on earth as nearly through but is looking towards the rewards found in heaven. What perspective should we have in this life? How should we view heavenly rewards?
