“Death in battle for God's sake is better than a shameful and sluggish life.” There is always a lion for the man who does not want to begin. Always a reason. Always a danger. Always a wiser moment to wait for. And so he remains on the road his entire life. Careful. Thoughtful. Unbloodied. Unchanged. St. Isaac is merciless here. Much wisdom can damn a soul. Not the wisdom that fears God, but the kind that calculates and delays obedience. The man who watches the winds never sows. The man who weighs every risk never enters the fight. The simple man jumps into the water. He does not negotiate with fear. He does not preserve his body. He burns with first ardor and moves. This is what we lack. Not knowledge. Fire. The way is filled with blood. Blood means loss. Blood means humiliation. Blood means the death of the life you hoped to keep. If you wish to begin, hold your death in your mind. Remember the day after your burial. Let eternity crush your attachment to this present age. Hope in this life weakens the soul. Do not begin with a divided heart. Divided labor exhausts and yields nothing. God does not give grace in proportion to our techniques but according to the ardor of love and the boldness of faith. “As thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee.” Some beat their heads in repentance. Some drown in prostrations. Some burn in psalmody. Some are seized into silence. There are many forms. But all give themselves without reserve. Then comes the ruin. One tastes and turns back. One tastes a little and grows proud. One is enslaved by ambition. One by vainglory. One by greed. One by habit. One begins well and does not endure. These are the lions. Not in the street. In the heart. The one who stands firm does not turn back until he receives the pearl. He begins again and again. He refuses slackness. He does not wait for ideal conditions. He does not demand guarantees. Always begin. If the heart is pure from passion and doubt, God Himself raises the soul. Not because it was clever. Not because it was impressive. But because it believed and stepped onto the blood-stained road without bargaining. Begin. Or die still talking about the journey. --- Text of chat during the group: 00:07:55 Fr. In this episode of the Mindset and Manifesting Podcast, Lynna K Teer continues the series on States of Consciousness, the true foundation of the Law as taught by Neville Goddard. Many people apply Neville's techniques faithfully. They visualize, affirm, imagine from the end, and yet see little or no change. This episode explains why.Neville never taught techniques as the cause of manifestation. He taught that state precedes experience, and that techniques are only effective when they express an already-shifted identity. When techniques are used to compensate for an unchanged state, effort increases, frustration follows, and the old identity remains intact. In this conversation, Lynna clarifies:Why techniques feel appealing but often fail to produce changeThe difference between imagining an outcome and occupying an identityWhy affirmations create resistance when they contradict the current stateWhy forced emotion and intensity signal misalignmentHow states actually change through natural acceptance rather than effortWhy time is not the issue, but consistency of identification isThe episode concludes with a short Q&A segment, modeled after Neville's lecture style, addressing common questions around technique use, effort, and state stabilization. This episode is for listeners who feel stuck despite “doing the work” and are ready to understand manifestation at the level Neville actually taught it.

When the world won't stop shifting, we need a center that doesn't move. We continue in Hebrews chapter 13 to explore why Jesus Christ [The Messiah] is the same yesterday, today, and forever—and how that truth steadies our minds, our churches, and our everyday decisions. This isn't abstract: we connect the unchanging character of Christ to the way we handle strange teachings, the balance between gospel proclamation and deep doctrine, and the difference between grace and external rule-keeping.We dig into the contrast between dietary laws and the righteousness that comes by faith, showing how grace frees us from measuring holiness by trends or taboos. Then we follow the path “outside the camp,” where Jesus suffered and where His people often stand. Leaving the old life—whether religious status or worldly habits—comes with reproach, but it also brings clarity, courage, and hope for the lasting city to come. Along the way, we highlight practical steps: offering continual praise, doing good and sharing, honoring leaders who watch over souls, and fueling ministry through prayer. The benediction calls God the “God of peace” who equips us in every good work through the blood of the eternal covenant. That peace is more than calm feelings; it's reconciliation with God and confidence that He will defeat evil and finish what He started. If you're craving a faith that holds when culture tilts, this conversation will ground you in Christ's permanence and send you into the week with actionable wisdom—strong doctrine, honest worship, and grace-shaped living. (The Center Square) – Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger's decision to rescind former Gov. Glenn Youngkin's Executive Order 47 does not immediately end state or local law enforcement cooperation with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, according to law enforcement officials and the order itself. Executive Order 47, issued by Youngkin in February 2025, required the Virginia State Police and the Virginia Department of Corrections to enter into 287(g) agreements with ICE. The order also encouraged local law enforcement agencies to participate in the federal immigration enforcement program. Spanberger rescinded the order as part of her first round of executive actions after taking office.Support this podcast: https://secure.anedot.com/franklin-news-foundation/ce052532-b1e4-41c4-945c-d7ce2f52c38a?source_code=xxxxxx Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company.
