THIS THING CALLED LOVE is the relationship talk show of Fomeprays. It is aimed at spreading awareness on what love truly is and correct wrong expectations or perspectives on the subject of love. The first edition was held in 2021, and it featured four outstanding young adults. In this year's edition, we had a conversation about relationships with two unmarried individuals and two married couples. They shared with us issues such as why ladies reject a marriage proposal, some wrong perceptions young people have about love, boundaries that should exist in a relationship and how they can be enforced, mistakes young couples make in the early years of their marriage and so on! Listen, and enjoy...
In this lesson I talk about the next few bars of my improvised chorus on the changes of What is This Thing Called Love found here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CigFc5yD_ow/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link I spend some time going into detail on a concept I'm calling 'subtle diminished'. Take a look/listen and you'll see why. I also apply this concept in a less jazzy setting here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/Ci5PCZLjFWb/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Become a member of my Patreon for $10/mo for access to full length interviews, video lessons, PDFs/tabs/Guitar Pro files and knick-knacks that I post on a weekly basis: https://www.patreon.com/nickllerandi --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/nickllerandi/message

God created us to have a relationship with Him and a relationship with others. Jesus said the two greatest commands are to love God and love others (Mk 12:29-31). Relationships are intended to be a blessing, and to be healthy and life giving. However, relationships are not always easy. Yet we can learn overcome the challenges of relational struggles. Join us in this four part series as we share a blueprint for maintaining and growing healthy relationships in our series called “This Thing Called Love”.
