This year we have decided to join A21 for their 6th annual Walk For Freedom on October 19th. #WalkForFreedom is a global event that raises awareness and funds for the fight against human trafficking. We are fundraising because we know that our efforts can be the difference between slavery and freedom for many. And even though each of us can’t do everything we can all do something. And when we come together to advance the fight against slavery we can be the reason that a child is prevented from being forced to beg on the streets of Thailand—the reason that there is someone to pick up a hotline call from a victim at 3am in South Africa— the reason a survivor finds healing and restoration through our Freedom Center in America. Our giving and fundraising efforts make it all possible.Click on the link to join our team.Join Team PurposeLet’s show the Bahamas what focused Purpose looks like. Therefore submit yourself to GodJames 4:7Why do we struggle to keep face and we choose our pride over our healing. We need to be willing to be humble so we can admit our, bitterness, anger, pride hurt. Be willing to submit or surrender to it to God so that He will do the work. To move from one place to another we need to be humble, and submit , whatever the “it” is to God so you can move from the place of being “ok” into being in a place of abundance.
On the Verge of Success Are you ready for success? I’m sure you are, I know I am. The Bible is filled with Gods promises for our lives, promises to give and prosper us in so many ways. He also gives us a warning, because He wants to bless us, and with that blessing He wants us to be able to enjoy it and send it forward for generations to come. Get ready to be Blessed.

The book of Ruth is a small book with a powerful and profound message. In this message we walk with Naomi and feel her anguish when all the men in her life are taken away from her. Hardships happen, Bitterness happens, but what separates the champions from the bench warmers is that the champions don’t give up, the keep moving forward. And when it comes to Gods perfect plan for our lives, the reward is much greater than a trophy or a metal. Listen to this podcast and get ready to learn some very helpful insight in running the race.
The story of Jonah has been told many times. We have heard his story as children in colorful cartoons and as adults we learn about his disobedience. In this message we look at some of the events that lead to his frustration and why his first choice is Tarshish and not Nineveh. We also get a glimpse at what he must have felt when faced with the decision to choose a boat and a destination.
What About Love ? 1 Corinthians 13: 1-7 13 If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing. 4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. This passage is usually shared at weddings and at important family gatherings. Today we want to look at this scripture from the perspective of our everyday Christ walk. Love endures. This means : Love is forever, its not for a season, for a time. It does not expire. Love will wait and wait and wait. Love is not self-seeking: It’s not because you someone does something that you decide to continue to love or not love them. If this were true, than you are only seeking what you need, that’s self-seeking. Love is given because it is given. Christ loved me before I knew I needed to be loved. He did not love me because I loved Him, He loved me, because He did. Love always Perseveres: Love will always continue to seek the good and not the bad. It will always seek to chase away the darkness and fill every part of your being and everything around you with light that is a reflection of the Holy Spirit in us. GOD IS LOVE.
Rejoice | Remove | Remember Ecclesiastes 11:7- 10 1. Rejoice Breath and embrace the journey. Life is full of ups and downs. When you're in a “down” change your lens of perspective and see it as an opportunity to learn, and rejoice. Because no matter what you're going through, if it rattles you that much, chances are it will not happen again. So Breath in…. Breath out. Take a picture and move on. 2. Remove in Verse 10 it says: 10 So then, banish anxiety from your heart and cast off the troubles of your body Remove the regret, the sorrow and all the things that keep you in the cave of bitterness, anger and depression. Remember the saying “ This too shall pass”. Whatever your age is, your only this age once. Live it to the fullest and remove from your life everything and everyone that is on a mission to bring you down. Remember that tomorrow is not guaranteed to anyone, so make today count. 3. Remember In Ecclesiastes 12 it says, Remember your creator. It good to have fun, live carefree and not have a worry in the world. But just like every good thing, you need to remember that there is a consequence for every decision you make. Good or bad you will reap the consequences of what you do. You might committed a major crime, and after some time have repented, God forgave you and you are doing better, but that repentance, grace and forgiveness does not erase the legal consequence to your actions. In the same manner when you choose to do what is right before God, you will reap the blessing and abundance of your actions. In Deuteronomy 30 verse 15 and 16 it say that God gives us the option and its up to us to choose and when we choose the God way, we will be blesses and blessed in abundance.
A Fathers Love Romans 8:28-31 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who[a] have been called according to his purpose. 29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30 And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified. We are Called. In these verses it shows us that God does not only do one thing, His blessings and abundance is piled on one after the other. And if illustrates how God is a God of order. You are called and when you answer the call you are justified, and because you have answered the call and have been justified, THEN he lifts you up. C’mon – God is a Good Good God!!!! 1. We strive to fulfill the emptiness that we feel with “things” (i.e.: material things, Drugs, People). But the emptiness that we fill cannot be filled with THINGS it can only be filled with the Love of God. A love that He has already given to us, but it is up to us to accept it. 2. Our Spirit knows our Fathers voice and He knows ours. This is why we are always striving to fill ourselves up, or to learn more about religion or other practices but we are never truly at peace and filled until we answer the call of the one who created us, God- Jesus- Holy Spirit.
What’s the Name you call your Father? In this message we learn some of the names that are used in the Bible to describe some of the attributes of God. What important to understand is that this is by no means a complete list and the other takeaway from this message is to know that 1 name is more complex and profound than we sometime give it credit for. I’m going to list them here and you will receive all the awesome insight as you listen to the Podcast. Name Meaning El Shaddai Lord GOD Almighty Yahweh Lord Jehovah - The name Yahweh can be found over 6,500 times in the old testament. Jehovah NissiThe Lord is my Banner Jehovah RaphaThe Lord who heals Jehovah JirehThe Lord will Provide
Who’s Your Daddy? ( Part 1) Yes, He is all that and More For every battles, stumbling blocks and challenges that we face, God is there to see us through it. God is Holy, Faithful and Good and loves us through everything. Let’s take a look at some of the Gods Traits God Is Holy So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.”Isaiah 6:5 God Is Faithful The Bible ends with the ringing declaration: “These words are faithful and true” (Revelation 22:6). He who promised is faithful.Hebrews 10:23 God Is Good God’s goodness is a demonstration of his His generosity. God’s quality of goodness means so much more than only His generosity, it also includes His infinitely generosity toward us. God longs to bring abundant blessings to all of His creation. I will meditate on the glorious splendour of Your majesty, and on Your wondrous works. Men shall speak of the might of Your awesome acts, and I will declare Your greatness. They shall utter the memory of Your great goodness, and shall sing of Your righteousness. The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and great in mercy. The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works.Psalm 145:5-9 God Is Loving God loves us just the way we are. He never asks us to make changes in ourselves before we come to Him. He loves us as we are. Through Jesus Christ we are made new and His forgiveness is given to us by grace, and by grace we are transformed. From the first moment that we confess Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, throughout our walk with Him until our last breath and in eternity God loves us as we are because we are his creation and He loves every masterpiece that He has created. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.Romans 5:8
Hide or Ride 1 Samuel 30:1-8 David and his men reached Ziklag on the third day. Now the Amalekites had raided the Negev and Ziklag. They had attacked Ziklag and burned it, 2 and had taken captive the women and everyone else in it, both young and old. They killed none of them, but carried them off as they went on their way. 3 When David and his men reached Ziklag, they found it destroyed by fire and their wives and sons and daughters taken captive. 4 So David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep. 5 David’s two wives had been captured—Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail, the widow of Nabal of Carmel. 6 David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the Lord his God. 7 Then David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelek, “Bring me the ephod.” Abiathar brought it to him, 8 and David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?” “Pursue them,” he answered. “You will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue.” Who are you surrounding ourselves with? It’s important to know who is around you so that regardless of if you fly or fail you will not have to worry about your inner circle. The stronger the foundation the greater the victories. Even in our distress, we need to ask God like David did “David inquired of the Lord”. And when we get the answer dare to trust that what God said, God will do. Your gifts, your talents, your anointing is specifically yours. Don’t let the pressure of the people around you determine the direction you take. If God tells you to go forward, then go forward and walk into the Victory that He has already set aside for you.
Your Body , Whose Temple? God created us to be whole. “Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 Sin is what brought us sickness in all areas of our lives – Physical, and Spiritual For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:22 In Christ we are made whole again Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5:17 We are always given a choice – When we choose life, a healthy life, we are better prepared to do what He has called us to do. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Romans 12:2
Mothers Day Message Women we can Learn from This message is about the courage, faith and wisdom. We are talking about women who broke precedence and others women who stood firm when everything and everyone around them crumble to the ground. All of these women, like so many of us today, have more than one story, but in this message I want to focus on key lessons that we can learn from each one. Martha – Faith Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died. But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask. (John 11:21-22 NIV). We learn the importance of trusting God regardless of what the circumstance look like. Ester – Influence “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14). In Esters story we see how the courage to do what is right can change the trajectory of a nation and the course of history. Abigail – Strong/courageous Wisdom and beauty both found a home in Abigail, whose story is found in 1 Samuel. Described as, “… an intelligent and beautiful woman, but her husband was surly and mean in his dealings” (1 Samuel 25:3), Abigail is an example of how we need to act even when we are being treated unfairly. Deborah – Powerful and Humble A prophetess and honored judge, Deborah is one of the most awe-inspiring women of the Bible. A great role model for all those called to lead, Deborah, “held court under the Palm of Deborah…and the Israelite's went up to her to have their disputes decided.” (Judges 4:5). Deborah was a confident leader who trusted God words. And when she walked in out the call that He had placed on her she would always give him all the credit for the victory rather than pointing out her own strengths.
Its Already Mine Joshua 14:6-12 In Joshua 14:6 then we see Caleb coming before Joshua with a request. His request recorded in vs. 12 is simple, “give me this mountain.” What contributed to Caleb’s success? I. He possessed a “different spirit.” (Num. 14:24) New Testament reflection of Numbers 14:24 2 Tim. 1:7 “God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” 2. Caleb followed God Completely (Num. 14:24; Deut 1:36)) Joshua 14:8 – Caleb’s confession of faith. 3. Caleb was confident of his own strength. (Josh. 14:10-11) Caleb knew that he would have use his God given strength and go out and fight for his inheritance 4. Caleb was patiently persistent. He waited 45 years. He never gave up hope and never gave into despair. With his faith in God he was able to conquer the land and take what God had promised him so many years ago.
ENOUGH! It’s time to say Enough….. You are in a fight whether you like it or not… you are fighting against The devil The world Yourself The greatest struggle is within you because of our tendency towards self-sabotage To win the battle within…. Starts by declaring war Nothing great has ever been done with half of someone’s heart What are you focusing on, what is occupying your thoughts You are what you think Proverbs 23:7 (NKJV) For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. You can change the way you feel by changing the way you think How you fight your inner war determines how you fight your external battles. Negative thoughts cant lead to a positive life Colossians 3:1–2 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God Matthew 22:37. ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind Positive thinking is not a replacement for God, it is a response to Him Selective attention: The more you think about and talk about a specific thing, the the more you’re going to see those things in your life. Philippians 4:8 The Passion Translation (TPT) 8 So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always It’s impossible to worship and worry at the same time Be grateful Pray Encourage You can’t be accidentally negative while you are being intentionally positive
When Jesus spoke the very first words and prayed, "Father, forgive them for they don't even know what they are doing." Later, knowing that all was now completed, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I am thirsty." John 19:28A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus' lips. John 19:29 Telelestai: "It is finished", Greek word, tetelestai (te-tel-les'-ty). this word means: To end, to complete, to execute, or to discharge a debt. The bad news is, even though He finished, you haven't. None of us have.. “I know your deeds; you have a reputation for being alive, but you are dead. Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have not found your deeds complete in the sight of my God.” Rev 3:1-2 We have unfinished business. What is your Unfinished business? We are going to make a commitment. Now finish the work, so that your eager willingness to do it may be matched by your completion of it, according to your means. 2 Corinthians 8:11 "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me..." Luke 22:42"...yet not my will, but yours be done." Luke 22:42 We are going to take the next step. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path. Psalm 119:105 He finished strong. ”....being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task...."Acts 20:24
Who? And with What? Shamgar “After him was Shamgar the son of Anath, who killed six hundred of the Philistines with an ox goad, and he also delivered Israel” (Judges 3:31). Shamgar is defined in Hebrew as: sword ; Shamgar became a sword in the hand of God Backdrop to story: Philistines overrule Israel, possessions are seized or destroyed, weapons are confiscated and everyone is running for the hills. And in comes SHAMGAR ?! God often chooses to use unknown people to accomplish great achievements to bring glory to His name. “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; “(1 Corinthians 1:27) God working through one person to change the lives of many We are each called to live for God, knowing that our actions can have tremendous influence over many people. Not willing to settle for how things are, he aspired to be all that the Lord intended him to be. Maybe just a little faith, but that was enough: God used one man with one simple weapon “After him was Shamgar the son of Anath, who killed six hundred of the Philistines with an ox goad, and he also delivered Israel” (Judges 3:31). “For the Lord does not see as man sees;for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart” (1 Samuel 16:7). Courage To Make A Beginning Willingness To Use What He Had In His Hand “Do what you can with what you’ve got where you are.”
We were not created to “fit in” we were perfectly created to stand out. Misfits are those people who do not fit in, they are not like everyone else. We are all uniquely made and our imperfections might make us misfits, but God uses misfits. Looking through the Bible we see some very good examples of some mighty leaders that where also great misfits: Abraham: Did not always tell the truth, He denied that Sarah was his wife and placed her and himself in danger. Yet he became the father of the Israelite people and the lineage through which Jesus came into the world. Moses: Murderer, bad temper – But he lead the Israelites out of Egypt and to the promise land. Jeremiah: A prophet who heard from God but was always burned with sorrow. Mary Magdalene: Was possessed by demons, set free , And she was the first one to see Jesus after his resurrection. All of these people had issues and problems that society would label as “Not good enough” But all of these people dared to do what God called them to regardless of their inadequacies. We need to stop the excuses and dare to talk about Jesus everywhere we go and every chance we get. I am proud to be a misfit, because if I don’t fit in than I know I am standing out.
Free Love I will love them freely Hosea 14:4 Salvation was given to us in Christ Jesus Freely. Free means that you are given something that you did not have to pay for. When you give something and expect nothing in return. God gives His grace to those who seek it, but His Grace has always been there for us to have, it’s not there because we asked for it, it has been given to us already we only need to reach out to accept was has already freely been given to us. It is not because of our seeking, our prayers, and our tears, that lead God to love us. God loves us at first most freely. There is nothing we can do to attract Gods Love to us. He already Loves us. The origin of Love is that God Loved us even before He created us. God love is not earned by works, For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves;it is the gift of God,not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 God Love for us is so great that He gave His only Son to die for our salvation. We did not deserve it, we cannot earn it, it was freely given to us. You may not feel worthy of Gods Love, But understand that Gods Love is not given because of your feeling of unworthiness or worthiness, it is freely given to you, because it is. God is God. Remember that the covenant of grace has condition. “He who believes on him is not condemned.” No fitness is needed; John 3:18 Take all of the doubts and thought of inadequacy out of you head. God Love you, Receive it because He already loves you, not because of who you are, but because of who He is.
No More Sleepwalking 1 Thessalonians 5:6 New King James Version (NKJV)6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be [a]sober. 1 Thessalonians 5:6 New International Version (NIV)6 So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.1 Thessalonians 5:6-8 The Message (MSG)4-8 But friends, you’re not in the dark, so how could you be taken off guard by any of this? You’re sons of Light, daughters of Day. We live under wide open skies and know where we stand. So let’s not sleepwalk through life like those others. Let’s keep our eyes open and be smart. People sleep at night and get drunk at night. But not us! Since we’re creatures of Day, let’s act like it. Walk out into the daylight sober, dressed up in faith, love, and the hope of salvation.Awful ignorance. The sleeper knows nothing. Powerlessness. While Sisera was sleeping, he was killed by the hand of a woman. When you are sleepwalking you have no.Inactivity. When your slipping, you are not productive and you can get nothing done.Unwatchfulness. When you are sleeping, you have no idea what going on around you, you are present, but checked-out.
Why is it so hard for us to Believe in the Holy Spirit ? Look at this Verse: 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. John 14:17 The unbeliever/unsaved people of world that prefer their sin to their eternal salvation, those are the ones that despise the Holy Spirit excuse it neither sees Him nor knows Him; Many people may laugh at the idea that we believe in the Holy Spirit because we cannot see him. I on the other hand am amused at their lack of faith, because when I think of the wind, I cannot see it but the wind is real. I live in Florida, have you seen what the winds of a hurricane can do? I have, and I can tell you that I so not see the wind, But I have no doubt that the wind is real. You need to listen to the podcast so you can hear a very good example of a Doctor and a Christian having a conversation. Its funny and a great way to prove just how real the Holy Spirit really is. Read this The people that laugh at the belief of the Holy Spirit do so because they so not know him. But to those of us who believe you cannot convince us otherwise. I like the example of electricity. I can look at an outlet but by looking at it I will never know if it works or not. But if I stick my finger iin the socket and its working, when the current hits my finger, shakes me to the core and I do a jumping bean type of jig, you can tell me that the socket is not working. I know it’s working, because my whole body has felt its current and I will never be the same. When you experience the Holy Spirit, no one can tell you He is not real, because you have felt His presence and you know that he is real. Our daily prayer should be that the power of the Holy Spirit would come down on the church , not the building, the CHUCH – The People that profess to believe in God and have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Because When He shows up its an experience that is life changing. And when we as human change we impact the world around us. Holy Ghost impact. That’s what I’m talking about.
Scared of What? “Who are you that…live in constant terror every day because of the wrath of the oppressor, who is bent on destruction? For where is the wrath of the oppressor?” [Isaiah 51:12-13] What are we allowing to trouble and worry us from day to day? We give more thought to the negative and we forget the awesomeness of God. WHY DO WE DO THIS? Because we think of God as if he were far off, while we can see the negative ( is, things, people situations) with our eyes, and we can hear with our ears his intimidating words. 1. So many of our Fears are Unnecessary “Don’t cross the bridge till you come to it;” but so many people are crossing bridges that don’t even exist. They only exist in the heads. We are harsher on ourselves than God would ever be. 2. Some people are very troubled by the fear of man. “If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.” [John 15:19] 3. Fear of Poverty God feeds the birds; won’t he feed you? The provisions may change, but the God of that provides does not change. He will supply your needs. 4. Another fear is the fear of death. There is no pain after death, Your eyes may be closed here on earth but they will open in the glory of God in Heaven.
Speak up “We love [Him] because he first loved us.” 1 John 4:19 Everyone has a Voice; it’s how they use it that makes a difference. The Voice of the Holy Spirit The Non-Believers The Believers The Passionate Believers 1. If you ask: Why do I need to speak up and announce my Love for Jesus? BECAUSE he first loved you Some reasons people give for not talking more about their Love for Christ Afraid of being laughed at Afraid of being criticized They do not want any trouble “If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.”? John 15:19 2. Jesus deserve to be acknowledged He was not ashamed of his love for us. “If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels” Mark 8:38 3. Because it puts you among the most blessed company. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying,“This is My beloved (LOVED) Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:17 If you look through History you will see some of the Bravest Men and Women all who publicly and loudly proclaimed “I LOVE HIM” 4. Your Public declaration of Jesus has the power to influence others around you. By your example you lead others to Jesus. 5. Speaking up and out loud about your Love for Jesus will be of benefit to yourself. When we speak of Jesus others might listen, But for sure YOU WILL LISTEN, Because you are with you all the time.
There are 3 People at work in our Salvation Look at the text, three persons mentioned. “I"—(that is the Son—) "will pray the Father, - (The Creator) and he shall give you another Comforter." - (Holy Spirit) 3 persons mentioned, all of them doing something for our salvation. "I will pray," says the Son. "I will send," says the Father. "I will comfort," says the Holy Ghost. When God first made man, he said, "Let us make man," not let me, but, "Let us make man in our own image." The covenant Elohim said to each other, "Let us unitedly become the creator of man." So, when in ages far gone by, in eternity, they said, "Let us save man:" it was not the Father who said, "Let me save man, "but the three persons conjointly said, with one consent, "Let us save man." It is NOT 1 person of the Trinity that is in it for my salvation; Take NOTE: that EACH person is spoken of as performing a SEPARATE office. "I will pray," says the Son; that is intercession. "I will send," says the Father; that is donation. "I will comfort," says the Holy Spirit; that is supernatural influence. When we are tired and weary, He leads you to Jesus to you can find rest. When we are sad and broken He leads our eyes to the cross so we can see Jesus and remember that we are saved, healed, redeemed, loved. When we are struggling with our salvation because of situations and temptations, He speaks to our hear and encourages. When you see how clearly there are 3 working towards your salvation than you know that you can’t say “I am ONLY grateful to the Son”. Yes you should be grateful to the Son, but you need to also be grateful to God the Father and to the Spirit of God, The HOLY SPIRIT. Look how perfect the three are one. The Son says, "I will pray the Father." And he will send you." Here we Jesus speaking on behalf of the Father "He will send you another Comforter." Here we see Jesus telling us what the Holy Spirit will do when He is here. When one person speaks for another with such authority than you have to know that they have an agreement, almost like a contract between them. Because what one says that other is is full agreement that it will be done.
