The only looming punishment we care about on B1G Banter is Alex's as he has to make up a game because he doesn't know how to read (or listen to a podcast for that matter). In the game of the week, Michigan runs the ball literally every play, and James Franklin has no answers. Outside of how close can Michigan-Penn State get, how bad will OSU beat MSU, and will somebody else take control of the B1G West there is only ONE thing that matters this weekend, how low will the point total for Iowa-Rutgers go?

With another B1G Heavyweight Bought looming, Michigan and Penn State took care of business in convincing fashion against Purdue and Maryland respectively. Ethan and Alex discuss the tale of the tape, and what each team should be concerned about heading into the matchup. Ohio State continues to win, coming out on top in a gritty game against Rutgers, and Iowa (somehow) controls their own destiny again for the West Title.

Since he was busy being a Dad last episode, Ethan provides his take on the Michigan Football scandal.

Not since the 2017 Astros has there been a sign stealing case that has sent shockwaves into the sports world like the NCAA's latest investigation into the Michigan Wolverines. Alex and Corey discuss what this means for the program and how the team moves forward. Is their run of dominance tainted or does some dust need to settle first? Football was still played this weekend however, and the aftermath of OSU's victory against PSU cements the Buckeyes into the CFP title conversation, and the West Division is headed to another end of season collapse similar to last year.

(Is Tory Taylor a Heisman Darkhorse?) Alex and Corey discuss Iowa's head scratching path to a 6-1 record and sole possession of the West Division, despite their inept offense. Rutgers kept chopping in a stunning comeback against MSU, and the Big 3 of the East took care of business in blowout victories.

After a dominating performance by Corey in the picks department last week, we have ourselves a legitimate race for the B1G Banter Pick crown! We look ahead at some future B1G teams in their marquee games for the weekend, as well as some of the most compelling matchups in conference already. Who takes charge of the West? Does Purdue beat a top 5 opponent again? Does Penn State continue to cover the spread? We have our picks, what's yours?

Things get a little heated as the fellas discuss what happened in the OSU-Maryland game. Who deserves more of the blame, Coach Locksley or Taulia, and how should we handle a sloppy, yet good performance from the Buckeyes? Other games peaked interest across the B1G Landscape, including Michigan and Wisconsin's performances. However, as we like to say, If you don't like mediocre football, you don't like B1G football!

It's time we talk about the Maryland Terrapins. They're 5-0, playing the best they have ever under Coach Locksley, and STILL NOT RANKED going into a big matchup against the Buckeyes in Columbus. Ethan and Alex brake down why the AP poll is bogus, and how the Terrapins are situated to take a firm spot in the B1G Top 4. The boys discuss what the McNamara injury means for the Ferentz Climb (not good) and when this MSU saga may end.

With the performances of some "contenders" in the West really letting us down in a B1G way, you gotta be an absolute SICKO to think this is a premier slate. Nonetheless, our faithful hosts are giving you what you absolutely crave, our picks and locks of the week. How much hate will fuel Ethan's pick in the Minnesota-Louisana game? Will Corey's pessimistic outlook rear its ugly head for Michigan-Nebraska? Will Alex get any sleep with a new baby in the house? (The answer is probably not). But, for all B1G related props and spreads questions, those will be answered!

What a week it was for some East Powerhouses in Penn State and Ohio State, and what an absolute embarrassing showing from West Hopefuls in Iowa and Minnesota. The boys don't hold back in this episode as they say what everyone is thinking, put Brian Ferentz in a cannon and launch him into the sun, and send PJ Fleck down the Nile in a sinking boat. The West is just as disappointing as ever, and Wisconsin is their last (but very bleak) hope for a title.

The phenomenon that is sweeping the nation is NOT Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffs, it's the presence of the running clock. How much will this affect the ability for certain teams to cover their large spreads? (Looking at you, Michigan) With the B1G conference games FINALLY coming into full force, the fellas will get a better picture of who's hot and who's not including a statement game from two blue bloods of College Football. Alex had a baby this weekend (kinda lame) but Ethan and Corey are here to bring you all your B1G Football needs (pretty cool!) There was a beatdown in East Lansing, a 3-0 surprise in New Jersey, and a disappointment at Chapel Hill. But really, none of those are important because the fellas answer two very important questions; Is the B1G West doomed to despair again? And after their win on the road against Illinois, is Penn State now the favorite to win this whole thing?

Maybe our most chaotic and polarizing episodes to date, the fellas take their picks on Week 3 of the B1G slate. We promise, we are NOT trying to make our super locks the kiss of death, we do know what we are talking about here. But can you blame us for being confused? Rutgers is FAVORED to start 3-0, we're worried about OSU's ability to cover the spread against cupcakes, and could MSU have the Washington Huskies on upset alert? Time will tell, but we aren't short of any opinions in this week's episode.

In the midst of another successful week in B1G Football, a bombshell at MSU was dropped after the tick of midnight. The Fellas discuss if Mel Tucker has coached his last game, and what do the Spartans do from here? In the week that was, Iowa's Offense continues to disappoint, the Spoilermakers ruin a rain delay in Blacksburg, and Michigan and Penn State continue to impress in the early showing of the season. With the struggles of Wisconsin, Iowa, and Nebraska's early seasons, the question of the week remains: are we headed to a non-competitive West Division Champion again?

The non-conference slate for the B1G continues as the fellas break down the best gambling picks for all you sickos out there. Ethan reclaims his crown after Week One, but if not for a backdoor cover from Penn State, Corey would be just behind him (or maybe if he would just not pick Purdue anymore he would be fine). Super-locks, islands, and locks of the week will be discussed in our first installment of bi-weekly episodes!

Week 1 of B1G Football is officially over, and we saw some incredible performances from the top dawgs of the Conference. The fellas discuss Michigan taking care of business, Penn State making a statement, and Ohio State playing...concerning football. Will Nebraska ever break their one possession curse? Is Brian Ferentz ever going to average 25 points a game? Does Purdue recover from a surprising home loss to Fresno State? IS RUTGERS BACK? (Probably not). The answers may surprise you, because there are more questions for our beloved conference than answers after a Week 1 slate.
