Gary Megson's Baggies were back in the top flight after 16 years of being in the wilderness following spells in the second and third tier of English football. After cutting an 11 point gap over our Black Country rivals Wolves. Albion's never-say-die attitude and incredible team spirit took them over the line to Premiership glory. Selling one of our star strikers, the Battle at Bramall Lane, missing more penalties than we had scored along with going all the way to the FA Cup Quarter-Final. This season had it all from drama to ecstasy with iconic moments and memories never to be forgotten. Hear how I have to choose between Robson and Bradford, while visiting Molineux for the first time, along with multiple audio commentaries and other stories as I take you back to a glorious campaign in West Bromwich Albion's history.
Gary Megson's first full season in charge at the Hawthorns was like being on a dream boat as we showed our credentials amongst the elite team's in the First Division. A team to be proud of that gave it everything as we came within 90 minutes of a Play-Off Final at Wembley, along with beating a Premiership outfit in the Cup. A lovable strike partnership, along with a solid defensive outfit were the keys to Megson's magic potion, as the start of something special was evident during this campaign. Hear how my away day trips start to grow, while revealing who that famous Albion fan was that I sat close by. Enjoy these stories and much more as the start of this glorious Albion journey begins.
A season that began full of fresh optimism following the dismissal of Denis Smith and the appointment of Ex-Premier League Manager Brian Little who came with an excellent reputation. Yet challenges on the pitch and off the pitch accumulated with poor results cost Little his job meaning Albion were searching for their second manager in less than 12 months. A new Chairman in Paul Thompson and a new manager in Gary Megson helped revitalise a slippery slope for the Baggies as they pulled out all the stops to survive the dreaded trap door of Division 2 Football on the final day. Sit back and listen to another thrilling ride packed full of Albion memories and audio commentaries.

Follow Fr Alex on X @alexdjfrost Branch was born in Liverpool, England. A childhood Liverpool fan, he started his footballing career across the River Mersey with Heswall[2] and then Tranmere Rovers. Having made 109 appearances for them, with loan deals at Bury and Wigan Athletic along the way, he was released on a free transfer to Stockport County for the beginning of the 1998–99 season, and quickly arrived at Burnley in January 1999, signed by the colourful manager Stan Ternent, following a falling-out with then Stockport manager, Gary Megson. Once described by Ternent as a Premiership-standard player, his inability to hold down a regular position either as a left-winger, left-sided or central defender, or striker, saw him never play there. He played more than 200 games for the club. His unpopularity with some supporters was balanced with him becoming something of a cult figure, earning him regular chants of "Graham di Branchio," (in reference to the football chant given to Italian footballer Paolo Di Canio), in an effort to boost his confidence and let his more prominent abilities such as pace and height come to the fore.

And now The Entertainers are back and already providing us with plenty of fun, albeit this time with just a touch more thrift.
