The Christ and Culture podcast with Dr. Ken Keathley seeks to connect faith with every aspect of your life. In each episode, you’ll see how faith intersects with science, vocation, economics, the arts, or the public square — via succinct, fascinating conversations with leaders and thinkers in these fields. You’ll be equipped to engage culture as salt and light, presenting and defending the Christian faith and showing how it affects every aspect of our lives. Here’s a sample of what to expect on Christ and Culture: • See how our faith colors our conversations with neighbors, coworkers, and fellow believers. • Discover how advances in technology and the sciences raise questions about human connection and identity. • Learn how you can glorify God in the workplace. • Explore the public square and world events through the lens of a Christian worldview. • Seek out God’s story within the creative avenues of art, fiction, and film. • Understand how these conversations affect how we further the Great Commission. We’re trying to discover how we can be faithful followers of Christ within today’s ever-changing culture. Will you join us on the journey? Christ and Culture is a project of the L. Russ Bush Center for Faith and Culture (CFC) at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. Dr. Ken Keathley serves as Senior Professor of Theology, Jesse Hendley Chair of Theology, and the Director of the CFC. You can learn more at IntersectProject.org.

The Christ and Culture podcast is a fantastic show that has been providing insightful conversations and edifying content since its beginning. As someone who has been listening to this podcast from the start, I can confidently say that it is an essential resource for anyone in ministry. Not only does it emphasize the importance of the arts in our churches today, but it also covers a wide range of topics that are relevant to Christians in various cultural contexts. This podcast is a treasure trove of knowledge that can be beneficial to both those in ministry and those simply looking to deepen their understanding of Christ and different cultures.

One of the best aspects of The Christ and Culture podcast is the diversity of topics covered. The hosts do an excellent job of bringing on guests with different areas of expertise, allowing for a broad range of discussions. Whether it's conversations about how Christians can live godly lives in different cultures or exploring the intersection between faith and public life, this podcast offers unique insights into these important topics. Additionally, as a SEBTS alum, it is particularly enjoyable to hear from former professors who have profound wisdom and insights to share on various subjects.

Another great aspect of this podcast is the depth with which the hosts delve into each topic. They don't shy away from tackling complex issues or delving into difficult questions. Instead, they engage with these matters head-on, providing thought-provoking discussions that challenge listeners to think critically about their faith and how it intersects with culture. It's refreshing to listen to a podcast that doesn't shy away from difficult conversations but embraces them as opportunities for growth and learning.

However, one potential downside of this podcast is its relatively short length per episode. While this allows for quick consumption and easy listening, some discussions could benefit from more time to fully explore each topic in depth. Occasionally, it feels like certain conversations are cut short just as they are getting really interesting. It would be great if future episodes could allow for more time to ensure that each topic is thoroughly examined and discussed.

In conclusion, The Christ and Culture podcast is a valuable resource that offers insightful conversations and thought-provoking content. While there may be some room for improvement in terms of episode length, the overall quality of this podcast is exceptional. Whether you are in ministry or simply interested in deepening your understanding of Christ and different cultures, this podcast is a must-listen. It provides a wealth of knowledge and wisdom that will undoubtedly enrich your faith journey.
