Despite the incredible health challenges Dr. Paula McDonald has experienced, her message to LIV2DAY will inspire you to get up and keep going in the storm. A former collegiate athlete and lifelong health-nut, at age 43 Paula was diagnosed with a massive spinal tumor and told she had only a minor chance of surviving the surgery, much less returning to full mobility. Her full recovery stunned her medical team and fueled her passion for holistic living and disease prevention. Within a decade, yet another tumor was found. This time it was in her left lung and removing it was her only option. With a B.S. in Biology and a firm belief in God as the Intelligent Designer, Paula became impassioned to find answers...answers to how she could attain the balance she so desperately needed in order to remain-tumor free and more than that, achieve optimum health! She went on to obtain a Master's and a Ph.D. in Theology. Having studied both science and scripture in-depth, she found that indeed the keys to the balance, to the wellness in life laid not only in the scriptures, nor in evidence-based science; instead, it was there waiting for her, for all of God's children, in the combination of the two. The Intelligent Designer who had breathed life into her had also ordered every cell in her body and every biological process that she had herself taught to others. Today, Dr. Paula McDonald has devoted her book, "LIV2DAY, Abundantly Connecting to God" and now her LIV2DAY podcast to sharing all that she has learned with the many people who desire better health, more balance, connecting to God, and practical advice on how to transform your life with tangible daily choices.
In this episode of the LIV2DAY series "Wired2Know God," Dr, Paula focuses on being created by the Creator. We have an intelligent designer, God, who hard-wired us to know Him and He also gave us the freedom to choose Him, or to choose to be apart from Him. What does the word "create" mean? And if God didn't create "all things," then who or what did? What do you believe? There is still so much more to explore! Join us in this continued study of God, the human brain, science, and how they are all truly connected. To learn more about Dr. Paula McDonald, visit drpaulamcdonald.com today!
In this episode of the LIV2DAY series "Wired2Know God," Dr, Paula compares our human need to plug into God to the same as a cellphone's needs to be connected to a charger, or the need for an electric car to be recharged in order to continue driving, it is in one word, essential. Essential to a sense of balance, essential to full living. God wired us to know Him. God sent Jesus to bring us closer to Him, and His death took away the great divide. Our brains are already wired to know Him, and we each have the innate need to connect with Him.. A few minutes each day will bring you the balance that your mind, body, and soul inherently crave. Tune in to hear a few examples of how easy it can be to make that time when you consciously allow for it.To learn more about Dr. Paula McDonald, visit drpaulamcdonald.com today!
In this second episode of Dr. Paula's "Wired2KNow God" series we learn about the anatomy of the human brain! If you're not a science geek, don't worry! Dr. Paula unpacks what is being found in the emerging field of neurotheology into the simplest of terms. If it is true that we are made in the image of God, as the Bible teaches, then is it also true that the brain, which drives our thoughts, emotions and functions in the body is also made in His image? If so, then in what way do we see God's own image in how our brain is wired? Dr. Paula unpacks the answers to these questions and so much more. Welcome to Dr. Paula's latest LIV2DAY series - Wired2Know God. As a former biology teacher and Ph.D. in Theology, Dr. Paula McDonald brings us her latest findings on the topic of how we can be confident that we were created by an intelligent, intentional Creator, God himself. If you've been following Dr. Paula, or if you've read her book Theosenthesis, LIV2DAY, you know her passion for science and for God. Her work centers on the premise that the more we study science, the stronger the case is for Christ, and for the truths revealed to us in the Bible. No matter how many times scientists, archaeologists, and non-believers try to disprove Creationism, still, their "most accepted cosmological models" are not test-worthy and cannot be replicated. At best, their published work remains today no more than a culmination of theories. Join us in this episode as Dr. Paula shares what we can expect in episodes ahead, on this 6-week journey. We will cover more than the DNA structure that makes us human, and delve into a fact-based discussion that points to God's undoubtedly, purposeful and personal design of man, made in His own image. To learn more, visit drpaulamcdonald.com

We know that all living things have a vibrational frequency. We know that sound also has varying levels of frequency. Scientists, especially in the emerging area of healing frequency therapy, also know that thought patterns even emit a frequency. Did you know that your mood exerts its own frequency? That's why you can feel when someone is actually happy or sad, or angry. All frequencies are measured in units called hertz, or broken down further into megahertz. It was Einstein who discovered that all matter vibrates at the atomic level. And so it is also true with a spoken word, a thought, and yes, a prayer. When Dr. Paula McDonald began writing her book, LIV2DAY, Theosynthesis, she began digging into these and other scientific principles. For those of you who follow this podcast, you may already share her fascination for science and the fact that the more you dig into it, the more you find that it points to an all knowing, all powerful, perfect Creator God. Join Dr. Paula in this exciting episode on the vibrational power of prayer, and how as Believers, we can be confident that our prayers, the laying on of hands, the use of essential oils, and more - when done in Jesus' name - are a worthy endeavor. Imagine that today you were charged with being a Christian. Would there be enough evidence in your life to convict you? A follower posed this question to Dr. Paula recently through social media, and in this episode, she compels each of us to apply this question to our own lives. Everyone has God-given gifts. The question is, how are you using yours to glorify Him? Can others see the fruit of your labor? Do you know what yours are? Using your gifts is not the same thing as striving to be a "perfect" person. That is an empty way of life, and not one that we are called to live.Join us in one of Dr. Paula's most important episodes yet, as we each prepare to ask God to show us our gifts and what fruit we bear.To learn more about Dr. Paula McDonald, visit drpaulamcdonald.com.

Today's episode marks the release of Dr. Paula's #1 episode to-date, "Who is God?" God created us with a desire to seek & understand him on a much deeper level. Daily, God astonishes us by his presence & ability to connect with us here on earth. Today Dr. Paula shares who God is & how he is there, even when you cannot see him. Because there is no special instrument to measure God, therefore, many claim He is not real. We know love and faith exist, but we can't measure them. Ego causes more people to deny God than anything else. It's a big obstacle. Blaise Pascal was a French mathematician and philosopher who brilliantly wrote what is called Pascal's Wager, It says this, "In order to try to come to the conclusion that God does exist through reason alone, the wise person should live their life as if there is a God." He then goes on to say, 'on the other side of the coin, if God does not exist, then we haven't lost a thing. "And so he wagered basically, what have you got to lose by choosing to believe in God?
Each of us possesses our own unique gifts that God is waiting for us to act upon. He is waiting patiently for you to step into the possibility of working closely with Him, alongside Him, in whatever it is that you do for work. God can show up in any kind of work. And it's not about the work you're doing, as it is about the degree to which you do it to honor Him.... and the degree to which you choose joy in doing it.
Numbers, number sequences, and repetitive numeric themes are woven throughout the Bible. To a degree of high specificity, we can see the intentional craftsmanship in many uses of numbers in scripture, not to mention the numerical science found in biology and in living organisms. What is this all about? Is this what some people call "numerology?" Or is it "sacred geometry?" What is the difference and why? What is safe? Follow along with Paula in the discovery of just a few examples of how detailed and magnificent our Creator's numerical handiwork can truly be. Be sure to stay tuned to hear Dr. Paula's answer to a listener's question about multivitamins at the end of the podcast, on "Ask Dr. Paula!"
