The Guys keep up the NBA talk as teams are starting to rest players for no real reason. David Stern is trying to step in, so they discuss whether players owe it to the fans to play no matter what. Brandon, Chris and Blake get into NCAA talk to start the show. App State secures its 3rd SoCon North title in 4 years and the guys discuss just what it takes to deserve an NCAA tournament birth. Tim Tebow's new delivery is also bantered around as Chris and Blake are all on the Tebow bandwagon.
We wrap up the show going over the NBA's trade deadline moves, including the Bobcats trade to pick up Tyrus Thomas from the Bulls, and the Knicks and Cavs deals to grab star players. Ckezepis comes in to finish us off with his Checklist.
We take a look at App State's Men's hoops team over the past week. We discuss the close loss at College of Charleston and then the North Division clinching game against Elon later Monday night. We also discuss the "Bubble" teams in the NCAA and who could make a run towards the tourney.
To wrap things up Brandon and Chris talk about the Charlotte Bobcats big trade to acquire Stephen Jackson from the Warriors. The kid can score but does he help this team reach the playoffs? Brandon believes he does while Chris thinks its another lateral move. Things get heated when Brandon presses Chris to predict the future for the Cats. The final verdict? Brandon says the Bobs are in the playoffs and Chris sees them on the outside looking in for yet another year. Ckezepis comes in with a breath of fresh air with The Checklist.
Brandon and Chris start to butt heads as they discuss NFL action from the weekend. The Panthers get a huge win to keep playoff hope alive, Brandon thinks Jake Delhomme is back for good but isn't sold on the Panthers playoff chances while Chris believe Jake is still below average but the Panthers will overcome him to win the wildcard. Chris is heartbroken from the Patriots collapse on Sunday night while Brandon is loving every minute of it.
Brandon and Chris gloat about App State's 5th straight SoCon title after demolishing Elon over the weekend. They get insight from the scene of the crime as Joseph Shook details how Elon become KBS East. They also jump into other college football action from the weekend including TCU's new uniforms that surpass awesomeness, why Mark Ingram is the lead Heisman candidate in a weak field and Brandon rips into Pete Carroll while Chris thinks Brandon has a double standard.
The guys finish up the show with Chris' long-awaited Yankees tribute. When all is said and done, Brandon is left with a tear in his eyes from pure joy and Chris admits the Yankees greatness. Ckezepis took the day off so The Checklist goes on without him and Andre Agassi and Sammy Sosa aren't free from their ridicule.
