Then, we dive into Ole's thoughts on promoter Jim Barnett, accusations on Barnett skimming money off the top across all the cities, crooked State Athletic Commissions, Fire Marshals. From there we talk the many issues between Ole Anderson and Jim Barnett. Ole's accusations of Jim Barnett stealing money from the Georgia territory, Anderson removing Barnett of his financial "duties", and how the slow takeover of Vince McMahon begins! In some places around the world, the day between Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday is known as "Black Saturday." This may sound grim to those of us who now live in the reality of the resurrection. But, imagine being an early disciple who just experienced the historical events leading up to the resurrection of Jesus, including "Good Friday." And then, imagine what Saturday must have felt like. Would it have been filled with hope and excitement? Or, rather grief and despair? This Sunday, as we begin our celebration of Holy Week, Kevan will be sharing a message entitled, "A Long Saturday (up from the ashes)." You won't want to miss this.——Empowering a movement of passionate Jesus-followers... We examine the Los Angeles Angels' hot start in light of the 1987 Milwaukee Brewers' hot start and what happened afterwards, and stumble across a writer saying inappropriate things about Spike Owen and Teddy Higuera. Then we talk about the tragic loss of Octavio Dotel, “The Pitt,” and Philadelphia's 1903 “Black Saturday.” Trigger Warning: There's nothing graphic about any of the above, but we do talk a bit about more than one tragic building collapse. It's tasteful, it's respectful and, we hope, totally not exploitative, but thinking about it too much still might be troubling. The Infinite Inning is not only about baseball but a state of mind. Steven Goldman discusses the game's present, past, and future with forays outside the foul lines to the culture at large. Expect stats, anecdotes, digressions, explorations of writing and fandom, and more Casey Stengel quotations than you thought possible. Along the way, they'll try to solve
Today, we look at how Jesus is with us when it seems as if He is silent.

Anyone following the Israel-Hamas and Russia-Ukraine wars is most likely familiar with the fascinating, fearless work of FOX News Chief Foreign Correspondent Trey Yingst. Though, what's life like for correspondents like Trey, who risk their lives to shed light on some of the world's most important stories? Trey and Ben discuss the experiences they've both undergone as war correspondents — from sharing the same urge to be in the center of action from a young age, to facing the emotional toll that comes with living in a war zone. They also discuss Trey's book "Black Saturday," which captures Trey's eye-witness account of the tragic October 7th attacks on Israel. Tomi Lahren is joined by Fox News Chief Foreign Correspondent, Trey Yingst. They discuss his new book “Black Saturday” which recounts the October 7th attack on Israel and the War in Gaza and what it is like being a War Correspondent. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
As the war in Israel is now over a year old, Jason sits down with FOX News Foreign Correspondent, Trey Yingst, to discuss his new book, Black Saturday: An Unfiltered Account of the October 7th Attack on Israel and the War in Gaza. Trey shares his inside reporting from on the ground in Israel on the morning of October 7th, and his 12 months of reporting on the war since. Trey has spoken to civilians, military forces, and political officials on both sides to tell the most full and complex story of what is happening in a devastating war. Trey notes the tragedy on both sides, from Israeli civilians who were killed on October 7th, and the civilians who have lost their lives in Gaza. Trey grapples with the spectrum of opinions on the war, the loss of human life, and the toll this has taken. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
We've released a few episodes on Honestly for the anniversary of October 7. Today, we're bringing you one more conversation with someone who has been breaking news on the ground every single day of this war: journalist Trey Yingst. On the morning of October 7, Trey was in Israel's south, reporting on the massacre as it unfolded. He saw bodies dragged into vehicles, mothers trying to save their children, and the bloodshed—unlike anything he had ever seen—in the communities and kibbutzim. He reported these stories live on Fox—in many instances while rockets rained down on him and his crew, who often didn't have time to take shelter. He remembers those early hours and days as “a true horror movie.” That was just the beginning of his reporting on the unfolding war, which has taken him into Gaza and more recently on an embed with Israeli troops into southern Lebanon. He tells these stories in his new book Black Saturday, which chronicles his reporting over the last year and the very real human stories of this war, both from the perspective of Israelis and Palestinian civilians in Gaza. Trey is the chief foreign correspondent for Fox News. He has reported from the front lines in Ukraine, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, and since 2018, he's been based in Israel. He says he tries to talk to everyone involved in the conflict, and he's gone a long way toward doing so. He's interviewed the leaders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, and he's sat down on the Israeli side with everyone from Benjamin Netanyahu to Yoav Gallant. If you're someone listening who holds stereotypes about what a Fox correspondent might sound like, Trey will surprise you. Trey has unconventional and strongly held views about the future of the region, about whether Hamas can ever be defeated, and about what should happen next in the war. Most of all, he has an unwavering commitment to a kind of old-school journalism that tells stories of human beings in times of war, whatever side of the border they fall on. The Hamas-led attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, killed nearly 1,200 Israelis and saw 250 people kidnapped. It also sparked one of the largest wars in the Middle East in a generation. A year of Israel's ground attack and air strikes on the Gaza Strip has killed more than 41,000 Palestinians, causing mass displacement as fears of a wider war continue to develop. In the first of a two-episode feature on this sombre anniversary, the Globe's senior international correspondent Mark MacKinnon captures the feelings of Israelis, sharing the stories of survivors from the attacks and analyzes whether the possibility of a ceasefire remains.Questions? The CBS News Vice Presidential Debate featured many tense moments between Ohio Senator JD Vance and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz. While the VP picks were peppered with questions on policies, the moderators quickly confronted Vance on his past statements about Haitian immigrants and childless women. However, Vance's steady performance allowed him to question Vice President Harris' record while scrutinizing Walz's history of progressive politics that could unnerve moderates and independents in key swing states. FOX News Radio's Josh Kraushaar joined the Rundown to discuss why Vance likely came out on top in this debate and what that could mean for 2024 voters come November. October 7th is a day that will live in infamy for Israel—the day that Hamas terrorists made a surprise assault on southern Israel, massacring Israeli citizens, committing various war crimes, and kidnapping over 200 hostages. Israel has been waging war on Hamas in Gaza ever since, but in recent weeks they have been fighting the Iranian-backed terror group Hezbollah. On Tuesday, Iran responded by launching the largest ballistic missile attack in history on the nation of Israel. As the region threatens to tip into wider war, FOX News chief foreign correspondent Trey Yingst is looking back at the dark day that sparked this conflict in his book, “Black Saturday.” Trey joins to discuss how his book explores both Israeli and Palestinian perspectives and the need for journalists to cover the truths and realities of war.
