The Green Room is back from it's two week break and Josh and Lachie return to look over what's been a big few weeks for Western United. With the news breaking in recent weeks that Western United have officially turned soil on their Regional Football Facility in Tarneit, Lachie & Josh spoke to General Manager of Football Operations Mal Impiombato. Mal spoke to the boys about what the landmark moment represents for the club, going one step closer to have a place to call home. He also took us behind the scene for a peek into what his role as General Manager of Footballl entails, including how he's helped to build a strong culture amongst the senior playing, and transferring those attitudes throughout the club. Defender Nikolai Topor-Stanley also joined us ahead of the Mariners game this weekend, which will see him break the all-time A-League Men's appearance record. The 37-year-old spoke to Josh and Lachie about what it means to him to play game number 359, his early playing days, how he's used his desire to prove people wrong as motivation throughout his career, using his learning from a degree in Sports Science to assist in his career longevity and THAT cricket goal celebration.
