The Carolina Panthers' offseason has quietly turned into one of the more fascinating case studies in the NFL, and this video breaks down every angle of it. We start with the contract extension for wide receiver Jalen Coker, signed before training camp even opened. From his undrafted journey out of Holy Cross to becoming a building block at receiver, Coker opens up about why the timing mattered, how a recommitted diet and training routine helped him stay on the field, and what his growing chemistry with fellow young receiver Tetairoa McMillan could mean for the offense in 2026.From there, we shift to rookie minicamp, where Panthers legend Thomas Davis raised eyebrows comparing third-round pick Chris Brazzell II's route-running to All-Pro Justin Jefferson, while head coach Dave Canales pointed to a different comp entirely: former Panther Robby Anderson. After a First-Team All-SEC season at Tennessee, Brazzell is already generating buzz before he's played a single regular-season snap.We also cover the latest roster movement around the league. Longtime division rival Cameron Jordan is reportedly closing in on a new one-year deal to stay with the Saints, extending a 15-year run and a head-to-head history that hasn't been kind to Carolina. Meanwhile, former Panthers linebacker Jacoby Windmon has resurfaced with the Steelers after a winding path through two stints in Carolina. The centerpiece of this video, though, is the Rasheed Walker signing, and why it might be the smartest move of Dan Morgan's offseason. After Ikem Ekwonu's Wild Card injury left a hole at left tackle, Carolina needed a starter fast, at a position where the market price was roughly $20 million a year. Instead, they locked up a 26-year-old, 42-game starter on a one-year deal with a $4 million base and a $10 million incentive-laden ceiling, using the exact same financial blueprint that turned Rico Dowdle into a $12.25 million payday for Pittsburgh after a bargain season in Carolina. We break down the contract structure, why the incentive design protects the cap either way, and how this sets up Carolina for a potential premium compensatory pick down the line. Finally, we look at the quarterback room behind Bryce Young, whose fifth-year option is now locked in, and why a thin depth chart of Kenny Pickett, Will Grier, and undrafted rookie Haynes King has Texas Tech's Brendan Sorsby and the supplemental draft on Carolina's radar. If you want the full picture of how this front office is building its roster, this is the video for you. Like, subscribe, and drop your thoughts on the Walker contract in the comments — is it the steal of the offseason?
The Carolina Panthers made it official today — Jalen Coker is staying in Charlotte. The Panthers and their WR2 agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $35 million, with up to $41 million in incentives, locking the receiver in through the 2029 season. And if you know Coker's story, you know exactly how remarkable this moment really is.Two years ago, Jalen Coker walked into the NFL without a single team willing to use a draft pick on him. No fanfare. No guaranteed money. Just an undrafted free agent out of Holy Cross betting on himself with the Carolina Panthers. Most players in that position don't make the roster. Fewer still become a team's second wide receiver. And almost none of them sign multi-year extensions before their third season. Coker did all three. In today's video, we break down everything you need to know about this deal. We cover the contract details — three years, $35 million, up to $41M with incentives, Dan Morgan's first extension since taking over as Carolina's general manager — and what it signals about the direction of this franchise heading into 2026. This is not a team paying for potential. This is a team paying for production, for reliability, and for a player who has proven he can deliver when the stakes are at their highest. And let's talk about that playoff game. Wild Card night against the Los Angeles Rams. Jalen Coker went out and caught nine balls for 134 yards and a touchdown on the biggest stage of his career. That performance didn't just turn heads — it ended the conversation about his role on this offense. He is the WR2. Full stop. What makes Coker's story even more impressive is the consistency. Across two NFL seasons, zero drops on catchable balls. Zero. He confirmed that stat himself on the Panthers Huddle and reacted with the same quiet professionalism that has defined his entire time in Carolina — "I'm really just out there trying to make all the plays that come to me." That's it. No celebration. No theatrics. Just accountability and execution at the highest level, every single time.We also get into what this means for the wide receiver room as a whole. Thomas Davis called it the most complete WR room Carolina has had in at least ten years. Tetairoa McMillan is the WR1 and reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. Xavier Legette is entering a make-or-break Year 3 with a new body and a chip on his shoulder. Third-round pick Chris Brazzell is already turning heads in minicamp. And now Coker is locked in for the next three years as the reliable, professional anchor that holds it all together.Training camp opens July 22nd. Nine practices and the Panthers play in the Hall of Fame game. This team is building something real — and today, they made sure one of its most important pieces isn't going anywhere.Subscribe, hit the bell, and Keep Pounding.

"I spent a lot of time and pain trying to hide things from everyone." Thomas Davis On this episode of the The Pivot Podcast, former NFL linebacker Thomas Davis Sr. sits down for one of his most raw and emotional conversations yet. From a childhood shaped by adversity to becoming an All-American at University of Georgia and a cornerstone of the Carolina Panthers defense, Thomas opens up about the journey behind the success fans thought they knew. He reflects on battling through three devastating ACL tears in the same knee, defying every expectation to return to the field and eventually becoming one of the most respected leaders in the NFL. Thomas also shares what it was like playing alongside Luke Kuechly, building one of football's most feared defenses, and helping lead Carolina to the Super Bowl. He shares the one time he regrets not listening to Luke and the Lombardi it possibly cost him and his team. But beyond the accolades and highlight reels, Thomas speaks candidly about the darker chapters of his life — his dependence on painkillers during his playing career, the physical and emotional toll football took on him, and the personal consequences that followed after retirement. In a deeply vulnerable discussion, he addresses his divorce, the estranged relationship with some of his children, and the struggle to rediscover himself after the game ended. This is a conversation about resilience, accountability, pain, healing, and what happens when the cheers stop and real life begins. The dwelling place of God inhabits the earth as we gather in unity. Holy Spirit is a person and we get to discover Him! Liz shares a recent encounter she had on the 30th anniversary of her physical visitation from Jesus. He gave her the garments He wore, representing humility and the capacity to walk as He did on the earth. This encounter is for all of us. He also gave her a ruby and gold ring, that was the ring of the Father. With this comes the certainty of our identity and that we belong to Him. He then gave her His sceptre, representing our capacity to extend His authority on the earth. Lastly, there was a silver trumpet, symbolising the speech of God, that we would be pure oracles of His heart. Receive today the increased ability to walk as Jesus did, know who you are in Him, and be a pure sound.Related Materials:You're invited to join us for a powerful time encountering God together!
