The That Was Pretty Scary podcast is a must-listen for horror movie lovers. Hosted by Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jon Lee Brody, this podcast is entertaining, informative, and filled with the passion and love for the horror genre. As a suburban mother of three grown children who recently got into podcasts, I stumbled upon this gem and it quickly became one of my favorites. The chemistry between Freddie and Jon is infectious, making it feel like you're hanging out with friends while listening to them discuss horror movies.

One of the best aspects of this podcast is the depth of knowledge that Freddie and Jon bring to each episode. They have clearly seen a lot of horror movies and their expertise shines through in their discussions. They provide insightful analysis and commentary on the films they cover, offering unique perspectives that make you see these movies in a whole new light. Additionally, they often share behind-the-scenes information and personal anecdotes which adds another layer of interest to each episode.

Another great aspect of The That Was Pretty Scary podcast is the way Freddie and Jon describe the movies they discuss. Their storytelling skills are top-notch, making it easy to visualize the plotlines even if you haven't seen the films yourself. This has led me to watch or rewatch every movie they've covered so far because their descriptions make them sound so intriguing.

However, there are a few minor drawbacks to this podcast. At times, some episodes can feel too short, leaving you wanting more from Freddie and Jon's discussions. Additionally, while their chemistry is fantastic, there are moments where tangents or side conversations take away from the main topic at hand. However, these are minor issues that don't detract significantly from the overall enjoyment of the podcast.

In conclusion, The That Was Pretty Scary podcast is an absolute delight for horror movie fans. Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jon Lee Brody bring their expertise, passion, and chemistry to each episode, making it a joy to listen to. Their descriptions of the movies are captivating and their insights are thought-provoking. Whether you're a hardcore horror enthusiast or simply someone who enjoys a good story, this podcast is a must-listen.
