Today we wanted to talk about a home we dedicated to tiger oak that was in the Parade of Homes in Utah and won many awards for its beauty. We discuss the various designs and choices we went with for our client, which you can see in our portfolio on our website linked below. We chose the paint color and style before choosing the furniture or finishing, which helped guide us in deciding on how to approach these other aspects. One unique thing about this home is when you enter it, you can see all the way to the back end, which gives you a greater understanding of depth and how big the place is. In the kitchen there are two tiger oak islands, one of which was a butcher block top and the other was marble, and then we put a big service window which is such a great party trick. Do you know what I mean? When you're just working with colors in general, once you figure out your color, then you have that out, and then all the other decisions can kind of help decide themselves, especially when you had the wallpaper. That was happy up there and it had so many tones to pull from.” 16:46 https://www.alicelaneinteriordesign.com/tiger-oakhttps://www.instagram.com/alicelaneinteriors/https://www.instagram.com/alicelanehome/https://alicelanehome.com/https://www.facebook.com/AliceLaneHomehttps://www.pinterest.com/alicelanehome/https://www.youtube.com/alicelanehomecollectionsaltlakecityNews Letter:https://manage.kmail-lists.com/subscriptions/subscribe?a=HZENWY&g=PFcqV5

John 1:3551 (ESV) Jesus Calls the First Disciples 35The next day again John was standing with two of his disciples, 36and he looked at Jesus as he walked by and said, Behold, the Lamb of God! 37The two disciples heard him say this, and they followed Jesus. 38Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, What are you seeking? And they said to him, Rabbi (which means Teacher), where are you staying? 39He said to them, Come and you will see. So they came and saw where he was staying, and they stayed with him that day, for it was about the tenth hour. 40One of the two who heard John speak and followed Jesus was Andrew, Simon Peters brother. 41He first found his own brother Simon and said to him, We have found the Messiah (which means Christ). 42He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, You are Simon the son of John. You shall be called Cephas (which means Peter). Jesus Calls Philip and Nathanael 43The next day Jesus decided to go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, Follow me. 44Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45Philip found Nathanael and said to him, We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. 46Nathanael said to him, Can anything good come out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, Come and see. 47Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom there is no deceit! 48Nathanael said to him, How do you know me? Jesus answered him, Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you. 49Nathanael answered him, Rabbi, you are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel! 50Jesus answered him, Because I said to you, I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things than these. 51And he said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.

Today I start off telling you about how you can get started on finding a business to buy and get on lists where companies will send you listings of businesses for sale. I have a friend who wants a TBM 700 airplane, but has done nothing to diversify his income. He wouldn’t believe me when I told him he can purchase a business for 2 times its yearly earnings, but now I send him listings all the time just to torture him. I talk about a business for sale I found that sells chicken coops and brought in 4.3 million dollars last year and is for sale right now for 11.5 million dollars. That would tell me that they’re discontinuing stuff that doesn’t really work very well and putting tremendous emphasis on the high earning stuff likely with the vision a year ago that they were gonna sell this thing.” 14:37www.websiteclosers.comwww.tworld.comReach Out To Keith, Get Help and Resources: https://dincpie.com/

On today's episode we are speaking to Brooke Romney, writer, speaker, educator, and mom of 4 boys. We discuss a powerful letter that she wrote to her kids and how she drew inspiration for it. Each new school year, Brooke writes a letter to her boys in order to help encourage them, helping them to push their learning, creativity, and take advantage of improving their minds. We talk about the pandemic and how you can adjust the education of each child because each child learns differently and will need adjustments to how they learn in order to maximize their learning process. Many kids are embarrassed to ask for help, but this is a good opportunity to let your kids know they can ask for help or tell you that the type of learning they're facing isn't working for them and that it's ok to admit that. There are ways to get your kids interested in learning and engaged in their education, such as having them write about subjects in which they actually have an interest. Brooke tells about the things that actually bring joy to your kids, such as working on their talents, learning, and relationships with their friends instead of playing video games or watching TV all day. We discuss words and how much your children's words can affect the people around them, and then we can also take this same lesson and apply it to ourselves. Inspiration behind this letter 0:37The biggest thing we hear from parents right now 7:05How we got Patty to enjoy writing 13:47The power our children have 22:04“In there I also talk about becoming a lifetime learner. This is your kid's first chance to decide if learning is something that they want to be a part of because this year it will be very easy for them to just slink back in the shadows and no one will notice and they can make every excuse of why it wasn't successful because there are a million of them. And I think we can flip this around like you said as parents. We can be bothered and frustrated that the school system isn't completely taking care of our kids' education like we hoped it would. Or we can also dig in and become lifelong learners. We can figure out what works best for one child and kind of really push that type of education for them.” 5:18Instagram:@brookeromneywriteshttps://www.facebook.com/theirishmummy/ https://www.instagram.com/the_irish_mummy/https://www.theirishmummy.comhttps://www.theirishmummy.com/ebook

The Coronavirus has taken over, or at least if you watch the news you would certainly think so. As the potential for pandemic continues to rise I had to find out if we should all be shaking in our boots, or if we should be shaking in haz-mat suits! This week is all about the real risk of the virus, the impact it would have if you were to contract it and what we should be doing about it. The topic of sleep is one that is rarely discussed, so I decided this week to go into my reasoning behind a schedule with 6 hours of sleep, including the thing everyone seems to dread...5 a.m.!! Topped off as always with three real stories about "penis man" (for real), a new tic tok video craze, and a sad deaf man who cant read what his favorite porn star is saying on camera. Who is my guest for this episode? On episode I have the fortunate pleasure of sitting down with Ally Pintucci. Ally is one of the founders of When in Doubt Love and in this episode we dive into self-love. Why did I bring Ally onto the show? I brought Ally onto to the show because she is an incredibly beautiful human being who like all of us has had her ups and downs. Ally discusses how she was able to lose 70 pounds through a determined lifestyle change. She focused on eating better and incorporating a variety of workouts into her daily life. Though having a lot of success physically, mentally this took a toll on her. She talks about how the sudden drop in weight caused her to have body dysmorphia. Ally gets raw and shares her personal inner demons along with how she continues to cope with them. Ally has used her experiences to help with the creation of When In Doubt Love, whose goal is to make us all realize that love and doubt can co-exist. It's to remind us that we can't control necessarily how we feel - but we can choose how we react towards ourselves and others, and hopefully it's from a place of love.
