“We can jail break that legacy data,” says Simon Peters, Managing Director UK and EMEA at CallCabinet. Most organizations have years of recording data locked up in either an on-premise recording platform or locked into a particular proprietary system. They are sitting on a goldmine of previously untapped data and business intelligence. In this podcast, Simon discusses how CallCabinet helps their clients unlock that data, and to make sense of what they have. “The virtue of moving your data into the cloud gives you so many more possibilities.” With cloud, the silo is gone and the value of your stored data, is realized. “We understand that each organization is unique,” says Simon. We learn that not only is trapped data unlocked, by that CallCabinet makes sense of it with dashboards, tools and other resources that make the unlocked data truly accessible. We also learn how CallCabinet utilizes AI to “truly jail break” previously locked up data. Liberated information can be used in a number of ways, including for use by a company's CRM. CallCabinet does all this with never losing site of keeping the data secure. Visit www.callcabinet.com.
John 1:35-51 35 The next day John was there again with two of his disciples. 36 When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, Look, the Lamb of God! 37 When the two disciples heard him say this, they followed Jesus. 38 Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked, What do you want? They said, Rabbi (which means Teacher), where are you staying? 39 Come, he replied, and you will see. So they went and saw where he was staying, and they spent that day with him. It was about four in the afternoon. 40 Andrew, Simon Peters brother, was one of the two who heard what John had said and who had followed Jesus. 41 The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, We have found the Messiah (that is, the Christ). 42 And he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas (which, when translated, is Peter). 43 The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him, Follow me. 44 Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida. 45 Philip found Nathanael and told him, We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wroteJesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. 46 Nazareth! Can anything good come from there? Nathanael asked. Come and see, said Philip. 47 When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit. 48 How do you know me? Nathanael asked. Jesus answered, I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you. 49 Then Nathanael declared, Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel. 50 Jesus said, You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You will see greater things than that. 51 He then added, Very truly I tell you, you will see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.
John 21:2 Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of His disciples were together. God moves people as He wishes to accomplish His purposes. On this day, on the sea of Tiberius, God put Simon Peter, Thomas, Nathaniel, James, and John, and two other disciples together in a boat. As we'll see in the next verse, God gave Peter a desire to go fishing, so the rest joined him. The target was Peter who had denied Jesus three times. Simon Peter's story wasn't over. His story is important because there are many Simon Peters, who have failed Jesus and themselves. They need to see the love of Jesus in an undeniable and personal way that speaks directly to their fears and insecurities. Today, God may put someone in your path who needs to see Jesus and experience His love and encouragement. You may not know their failures, disappointments, or fears, but Jesus does. He has put them in your path so that they may have a life-changing encounter with the living Lord Jesus Christ. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, about five thousand in number. 11 Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted. 12 And when they had eaten their fill, he told his disciples, Gather up the leftover fragments, that nothing may be lost. 13 So they gathered them up and filled twelve baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves left by those who had eaten. 14 When the people saw the sign that he had done, they said, This is indeed the Prophet who is to come into the world!

A Reading of the Holy Gospel according to Jn 6:1-15After this Jesus went to the other side of the Sea of Galilee, which is the Sea of Tibe'ri-as. 2 And a multitude followed him, because they saw the signs which he did on those who were diseased. 3 Jesus went up into the hills, and there sat down with his disciples. 4 Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews, was at hand. 5 Lifting up his eyes, then, and seeing that a multitude was coming to him, Jesus said to Philip, How are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat? 6 This he said to test him, for he himself knew what he would do. 7 Philip answered him, Two hundred denarii would not buy enough bread for each of them to get a little. 8 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peters brother, said to him, 9 There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two fish; but what are they among so many? 10 Jesus said, Make the people sit down. In the Synoptic Gospels, the link between the multiplication of the loaves and the Eucharist can be reasonably presumed. In John that link becomes explicit and serves as a precursor to the institution of the Eucharist. In this case, there was a trust in Christ along with the generosity of giving up the five loaves and two fishes. The perennial lesson of almost all of Christ's miracles involves the interplay between an act of faith consisting of total self-giving and the exercise of divine power. (CCC 549, 1338)Reading: Jn 6:44 Now the Passover, the feast of the Jews, was at hand.Commentary:The timing of this miracle around Passover, and the fact that John mentions it here, implies a connection between the Jewish feast and its ultimate fulfillment and perfection in the institution of the Eucharist, the new Passover. (CCC 1335)Reading: Jn 6:1111 Jesus then took the loaves, and when he had given thanks, he distributed them to those who were seated; so also the fish, as much as they wanted.Commentary:The formula expressed here is very close to the description in the Synoptic Gospels of the actions of Christ at the Last Supper, where he instituted the Eucharist (cf. Mt 26:26; Mk 14:22; Lk 22:19). Given thanks: This term in Greek is eucharistesas, whence "Eucharist." (CCC 1360)Reading: Jn 6:1515 Perceiving then that they were about to come and take him by force to make him king, Jesus withdrew again to the hills by himself.Commentary:Jesus withdrew: The people acclaimed Christ for his miracle, but they sought to make him a temporal king who would provide for their material needs, show military might, and liberate the Jews from Roman rule. Christ left the scene before this act could take place, for although he is a king, his kingdom is not of this world. (CCC 439, 559)Works CitedIgnatius Press. John 13:36-38 (KJV) 36 Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards. 37 Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake. 38 Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.
Proverbs in 365 Devotions For more go to braggingonjesus.com Proverbs 4:20 My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. 21 Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart. 22 For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh. I Keep Repeating Myself but I'm Not Senile! R Aylor Have you noticed that from time to time it kind of sounds like Solomon is repeating himself? Of course you have… No, the wisest man alive is not going senile! But still in chapter after chapter, Solomon has been repeating this basic truth on purpose. The reason I think is because it’s that important! Why do you repeat things to your own children? Exactly! Listen to me son! Your whole life depends on you getting what I say here! I can almost hear the young man answering Solomon “yes father”, “I know father”, “I won’t forget father”. Then Solomon answering: “Son, I have stressed this to you over and over. You are a man like every other man. You have a bent… crookedness. We all feel that pull towards the ways of the world and the flesh. We have discussed so many important truths that will bring you life and health... or they will lead you to disappointment and a life of ruin. But still, in the Lord they can give you the greatest satisfaction possible and make you a great king ruling justly over Gods people. Remember these are some of the same things my father King David taught me. You’ve given me the right answers son. We’ve talked together about these things and we will talk again. You know the truth. Keep them close to your heart.” This Proverb may help point us in the right direction in raising our children, but it points us in a greater direction when we consider God as our heavenly Father. The Lord reminds us over and over every day… Listen to my Son and his words. In Mark 9:7 when Jesus was transfigured before Peter, James and John, the Father himself says to listen to his Son. Mark 9:7 And a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came out of the cloud, “This is my beloved Son; listen to him.” Another time, after many quit following after him, Jesus ask his own disciples if they wanted to leave and not follow him any longer, here is Simon Peters response: John 6:68 …“Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, Pray
Jesus – Lord and Servant • At baptism: Son baptized, heavens opened, Spirit descended, Father spoke • John’s msg: make room for Jesus – your time, heart, and mind • Jesus was tempted by Satan, yet did not sin • Jesus declared the kingdom of God has come with his coming Mark 1:21-28 – Jesus Heals a Man with an Unclean Spirit Mark uses Jesus’ actions to tell us who Jesus is. Jesus will demonstrate his authority over the highest human authority and over the supernatural authorities. v.21. Jesus taught in synagogues, from lakes, hillsides, at the temple. v.22. Jesus’ authority was demonstrated by his teaching (v22). The scribes were highly respected as experts in the Torah. Jesus did not speak from the traditions of the scribes, but as authoritative Lord. v.24. Demons knew who Jesus was, yet Jesus would not allow them to speak. Mark describes conflict between the kingdom of God and the dominion of Satan, between God’s anointed and the captives of unclean spirits. v.27. Jesus’ authority was demonstrated by his power over the spiritual realm (v27). Mark 1:29-34 – Jesus Heals Many vv.30-31. Jesus lifted Simon Peters’ mother-in-law out of a fever Shows Jesus’ kindness even in small things v.34. Jesus’ authority was demonstrated by his power over sickness (v34). Mark 1:35-39 – Jesus Preaches in Galilee Mark records Jesus praying three times in his gospel. All at night, all in solitary places, all as he faced opposition. Jesus “went out” to pray (35), before Jesus “went out” to preach (39). Jesus cannot extend himself outward in teaching, healing, compassion; until he has inwardly connected with the Father who is the source of his mission. His oneness with the Father compels him outward in mission. “The significance of Jesus’ ministry consists not simply in what he does for humanity, but equally in who he is in relation to the Father. He is the Sone, one in being with the Father; and the Servant, one in purpose with his will.” –JR Edwards Mark 1:40-45 – Jesus Cleanses a Leper Leprosy described numerous contagious skin diseases. Lepers were required to 1) ALONE - live alone, apart from community; 2) UNCLEAN – unable to join in temple worship; if you touch, you are unclean 3) UNTOUCHABLE – could not approach others, 50 paces away, dress in torn clothes to warn others of the danger of their infection, call out “unclean!” Various rabbis: “the living dead.” Josephus: “no different from a corpse.” Other illnesses had to be healed, but leprosy had to be cleansed. Jesus bears our iniquity. v.41 The Cleansing - Jesus touched the leper, which would have made himself unclean, but made the leper clean. v.44 The Sacrifice for Healing - The sacrifice required by Lev 14:10-11 was for the healed person to bring two birds, one of which was killed at the temple. The other bird was dipped in the blood of the slain bird and released. v. 45 Trading Places - Mark began the story with Jesus on the inside and the leper on the outside. At the end, Jesus is “outside in lonely places.” Jesus and the leper have traded places. Jesus is the Servant of the Lord who bears the iniquities of others (Isa 53:11). In bearing their sins he is “numbered with the transgressors” (Isa 53:12). Application: Jesus is not afraid of our mess. He enters our mess, takes our mess on his own shoulders. He bears our sins. He does not avoid sinners; Jesus welcomes sinners. We must be willing to put ourselves in messy situations to see others redeemed.
