On this episode of The Kasabian Lavoe Show , Kasabian going in depth with his past dealings with police . In amazement when he would tell his stories to white people he knew and no one would believe him . In the 70s Richard Prior had a bit about how police were beating up black ppl and white folks would learn about this issues in the news paper in disbelief . Not much has changed and ppl are still in disbelief . I think we all understand that not all police or any one in a suit are trust worthy . A huge congrats to Jay Z for becoming the first Billionaire in hiphop ! All this and more . Go to www.klavoe.com www.rgrnv.com Follow on ig @kasabianlavoe @kasabian_lavoe_show

This is season two's bonus episode — one like we've never done before. Today's episode features an entire EP of covers recorded by LA-based singer/songwriter C.S. Armstrong. Across a low key but illustrious career Armstrong has developed a sound that is ruthlessly soulful, one that calls back to decades past while charging forward and defying boundaries. This is an EP of covers, composed of timeless songs recorded by Armstrong with the intention of being placed in major motion pictures. For reaons unknown many of these songs never received soundtrack placement, however Armstrong's rendition of Bobby Bland's "Ain't No Love in the Heart of the City" is currently in Taraji P. Henson's latest film Proud Mary. Joining the table for today's episode is a NOT97 alum, our first ever recurring guest, Amsterdam's own Van Common. Since August, the Dutch artist has been traveling around America and was gracious enough to book end his trip with appereances on the show — from season one's bonus episode to now. 01 "Five to One" originally by The Doors 02 "Not At All (interlude)" by C.S. Armstrong 03 "Ain't No Love in the Heart of the City" Originally by Bobby "Blue" Bland 04 "With a Little Help From My Friends" Originally by The Beatles 05 "Tainted Love Originally" by Gloria Jones 06 "I Need You" by C.S. Jim is back and so is Chris. The guys talk the art of tanking and how the 76ers are just another misunderstood genius, a good death, why Jim's fantasy team is like a crime scene and applaud a good death. Two and a half men is down one and a half men and Jim can't believe this isn't a bigger deal, before predicting how Angus T Jones will make his triumphant acting comeback. Who ya gonna call? Better make it the Marines if you're trying to stop the impending disaster that is Ghostbusters 3 and Chris' final word never ends.
