Tulane coach Jon Sumrall is on his way to coach the Florida Gators. Ryan Silverfield is the new coach at Arkansas and Kentucky has fired Mark Stoops. Friday, The Texas Longhorns knocked The Texas A&M Aggies out of the SEC Championship with a 27-17 win in Austin. Texas A&M Football is in the College Football Playoffs while Texas Football likely will not be, though many argue they should have a spot. The Georgia Bulldogs beat the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 16-9 in Atlanta. Georgia Football finishes 11-1 and faces Alabama in Saturday's SEC Championship. The Ole Miss Rebels beat the Mississippi State Bulldogs 38-19 in the Egg Bowl Friday in Starkville. The loss ends the season for Mississippi State Football. For Ole Miss Football, the drama only began with the win. Head coach Lane Kiffin left Sunday for the LSU Tigers head coaching job. The Oklahoma Sooners saved their Playoff lives with a 17-13 win at home over the LSU Tigers. Oklahoma Football scored with 4:16 to go to hold off LSU Football and hold their Playoff spot. The Ohio State Buckeyes beat the Michigan Wolverines 27-9. Ohio State Football solidifies their spot in the Big Ten Championship Game and holds their #1 spot in the College Football Playoff rankings. The Alabama Crimson Tide continued their domination of LSU with a 20-9 win In Tuscaloosa. Alabama Football held LSU Football to 232 yards, just 59 on the ground. The run game continues to be an issue for Alabama but the Tide continues to win without it. The kicking game also had shake moments with a very short missed field goal. Up next for Alabama are the Oklahoma Sooners, with a win, Alabama is a virtual College Football Playoff lock. The Auburn Tigers finally found offense in Nashville Saturday against the Vanderbilt Commodores in the 45-38 overtime loss. For the first time, defense was the issue as Auburn Football 544 yards to Vanderbilt Football. The bright side is that Auburn racked up 563 yards of offense and Ashton Daniels away terrific, throwing for 353 yards and 2 TDs. he Texas A&M Aggies continued rolling through SEC play with a 38-17 win over the Missouri Tigers. Texas A&M Football rolled up 454 yards of offense and held Missouri Football to just 77 passing yards in the win. The Georgia Bulldogs crushed the Mississippi State Bulldogs 41-21 in Starkville.
