Hour 4 Today is Dick LeBeau's birthday and he got a birthday shoutout in Boomer's sports minute. Then we spent way too much time talking about him for some reason. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with the final strikeout of Francisco Alvarez as the Mets lose to the Phillies 1-0. Mets are now 8 games out of a division they were up 7 games at one point. We almost had 2 no-hitters last night. Right now, there have been none this season. We heard the sounds of the Vikings coming back and beating the Bears last night. Bill Belichick said he's not welcome at the Patriots facility, but Mike Vrabel said he is welcome. Hurts does not look like the QB who had a great performance in the Super Bowl a few years ago. Jerry returns for an update, but first Gio said if Saquon Barkley wins a Super Bowl, this will officially be the worst season in the Giants 100 year history. Brian Schottenheimer will likely be the next Cowboys coach and maybe Rex Ryan will be the defensive coordinator. Andy Reid is looking forward to the challenge of playing Buffalo. Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward did their best Boomer & Phil Simms impression as they talked to each other about each other. Joe Benigno wants Pete Alonso back and he blames Stearns and Cohen. Peter Schwartz has been named the GM of the Long Island arena league that is starting soon. The team doesn't have a name yet. We tried to come up with names for the Long Island team. We also talked about Italian Lizards on Long Island and how they got there. C-Lo returns for an update, but first we talked more about Peter Schwartz being the GM of the Long Island team in some new arena football league. The Jets are most likely signing Aaron Glenn after interviewing him today. Players are said to be excited at the prospect of Glann as head coach.
