Gustavo Duarte é cartunista, Quadrinista e Designer Gráfico brasileiro. Suas histórias “Có!”, “Taxi”, “Birds”, “Monstros!”, entre outros, foram publicadas no Brasil, Estados Unidos, Alemanha, França, Bélgica, Suíça, Argentina, Uruguai e Chile. Além dos seus próprios livros, no mercado norte-americano, colabora regularmente com as editoras Marvel e DC Comics. Na Marvel, ilustrou em títulos como “Guardiões da Galáxia”, “Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur”, “Lockjaw”, “Venom” e “Homem-Aranha”. E na DC Comics, em “Bizarro”, “Dear Justice League” e “Dear DC Super-Villains”. Nasceu em São Paulo em 1977. Formou-se em Design Gráfico pela Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp - Bauru) em 1999. Começou a sua carreira de cartunista e ilustrador no Diário de Bauru em 1997. Em janeiro de 2000, voltou a São Paulo e desde então passou a colaborar com as principais revistas e jornais do Brasil, dentre eles o Lance! e a Folha de S. Paulo, onde publicou regularmente por mais de dez anos. Desde 2009, trabalha com histórias em quadrinhos como roteirista e desenhista.
