    Mike Perkins

    Mike Perkins is a comic book illustrator having worked on Captain America, Thor and The X-Men. After wrapping up the 31 issue adaptation of Stephen King’s The Stand he transitioned into illustrating Astonishing X-Men and has since re-launched Deathlok, Carnage and Iron Fist . He has recently transitioned to DC comics where he is currently drawing Lois Lane. He has been nominated numerous times for Eisner and Harvey Awards and, as well as winning the Eagle Award, counts being on the New York Times Bestseller list and being exhibited in Munich, London and Paris amongst his career achievements.     Kirk R. Thatcher

    Kirk R. Thatcher is an Emmy award-winning writer/producer, an award-winning television, commercial and viral video director, as well as a creature maker and designer for both films and television. Kirk has worked with the Muppets since 1989, and has directed several episodes of the new Muppets Now series on Disney+. His directing credits include It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie, A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa, Jim Henson's Turkey Hollow, and The Muppets' Wizard of Oz. His writing credits include Muppet Treasure Island, Muppets Tonight, and Dinosaurs. Kirk was the Supervising Producer on the Emmy Award-winning ABC series, Muppets Tonight, and co-producer on the ABC series Dinosaurs, on which he designed most of the characters, working closely with Muppet's creator Jim Henson. As well as his long form work, Kirk has directed over thirty Muppet commercials and web shorts including, Muppet's Bohemian Rhapsody, which has been viewed over 72 Million times, and all of Neil Patrick Harris' web comedy series, "Neil's Puppet Dreams". Kirk was one of the three regular judges on the Syfy channel series, Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge. In 2018 Kirk created and Executive Produced The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell with Christine McConnell and the Jim Henson Company for Netflix. Prior to his work with The Muppets, Kirk worked for George Lucas's Industrial Light and Magic, where he designed, built, painted, and puppeteered creatures for numerous films including Return of the Jedi, Star Trek II, Star Trek III, E.T., Poltergeist, and Gremlins. He was also an associate producer on Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, and portrayed "Punk on the Bus". He made a cameo as "Punk Rock Guy" in Spider-Man: Homecoming, as a homage to his role in Star Trek IV.

His comic book work includes an award-winning 12-year run on The Incredible Hulk, as well as stints on Aquaman, Young Justice, Supergirl, Fallen Angel, Spider-Man 2099, X-Factor, and Dreadstar. His Star Trek work includes comic books, novels such as Imzadi, and co-creation of the New Frontier series. His other novels include film adaptations, media tie-ins, and original works, such as the Apropos of Nothing and the Knight Life series. His television work includes series such as Babylon 5, Young Justice, Ben 10: Alien Force and Nickelodeon's Space Cases. Kathleen O'Shea David started working with puppets when she was 2 and over 50 years later she is still "wiggling dolls" for fun and profit. Along the way she picked up a quite few more skills and careers. She has done just about everything from cancer research to rock and roll. Some of her favorite jobs have been in puppetry, theater, and publishing. She is a published writer with a Doctor Who story in the Big Finish anthology Short Trips: Qualities of Leadership among others. She worked on Star Wars: The New Jedi Order with Shelly Shapiro. She has had a number of short stories in published in various anthologies She created the series Headcases with her husband. Her costumes have won awards at a number science fiction conventions both for performance and workmanship. She has also created costumes for film and stage. She is a former employee of the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta. Her puppets are in collections all over the world.
