Horror is invading the DC Universe this summer with the publishing event, Knight Terrors, and comic book writer Josh Williamson is the dream master who is telling us about the supernatural series… Comic book writer Joshua Williamson's current project is a nightmare, but it's also a dream come true because he is injecting horror into DC Comics with Knight Terrors, the comic book publishing event that kicks off with the oversize special Knight Terrors: First Blood #1 on July 4 with art by Howard Porter. The main Knight Terrors story will take place over four issues written by Williamson with art by Giuseppe Camuncoli beginning with Knight Terrors #1 on July 11. Knight Terrors revolves around a new villain named Insomnia who has plunged the entire world into a realm of their own deeply personal nightmares. Meanwhile Boston Brand, aka Deadman, becomes the unlikely hero who, along with the help of Batman, and Batman's body, is on the case to figure out who Insomnia is. The line-wide event has also included two-issue miniseries spotlighting a Super Hero or Super-Villain confronting their worst nightmares in a Nightmare Realm. So readers will get to delve into the nightmares of Batman, Superman, Joker, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Poison Ivy and more. _______________________________________________________________ Talking Strange Paranormal Podcast with Aaron Sagers is a weekly paranormal pop culture show featuring celebrity and author interviews, with a weekly "Small Talk" mini-sode with reader submitted letters and spooky tales. The Intimates by Joe Casey, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Jim Lee, and others is a unique Wildstorm series that didn't have a massive audience. However, for the people it did connect with, it resonated deeply. This is a smart teen superhero book that's superbly crafted with much care and consideration. The high concept of the series is that it's about a high school for superpowered teenagers. However, the emphasis in this subversive series is on teenage life, and there is a relative lack of spectacle and superheroics in comparison to other teen superhero books. Although the book was unceremoniously canceled before its time, it's absolutely worth tracking down and reading today. For ep 116, Star Wars 25 is the focus, where we celebrate Charles Soule's 100th SW comic script with stories connected to his previous runs, including Obi-Wan teaching Anakin a lesson after The Phantom Menace, Vader fighting Palpatine after Revenge Of The Sith, Kylo Ren searching for Luke Skywalker after The Last Jedi and Poe Dameron's eulogy for Black Squadron pilot Snap Wexley after The Rise Of Skywalker – if you're a fan of Soule, you can't miss this! Star Wars 25 is written by Charles Soule, with artists Ramon Rosanas, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Daniele Orlandini, Will Sliney and Phil Noto (who also did colours) and colour artists Rachelle Rosenberg, Arif Prianto and Guru eFX. It seemed like a fun way to relive a crazy moment in all of our careers, give fans a behind the scenes glimpse at the book, and maybe even learn some stuff about ourselves. It was Kelly who really pushed for this to actually happen though, but she doesn't have a podcast and I do, so I win.Meanwhile I'm trying to not feel weird about the fact that my internet dropped out and I disappear from the show for 4 minutes and not only does no one notice, but the show actually runs much better.
