Steve Wiggins of GroundworksMinistries.com is sharing a devotional from the Old Testament book of Exodus, Chapter Seventeen.
Een podcast over de preek van 18 mei 2025 over Exodus 17:1-7. Thema: IS DE HEER NU IN ONS MIDDEN OF NIET?
In this preach, Matt Simmonds explores Exodus 17 and the story of Israel's battle against Amalek. It emphasises how God's people, though delivered from slavery, still face attacks from external enemies, symbolising the kind of spiritual battles believers face today. Matt highlights the tactics of the enemy - attacking at moments of weakness and rest - and draws parallels to how the enemy works in our lives. The sermon teaches that victory comes through prayer, remembering God's past faithfulness, and standing together in community. Ultimately, it points to Jesus' decisive victory on the cross, encouraging us as believers to fight spiritual battles not with our own strength but by relying on Christ's finished work.

Being merciful and encouraging others, this surrender like Moses, like those who held up Moses' hands, are we learning from this? God is calling us to be faithful!

We'll discuss how God miraculously provided manna and quail in the wilderness, teaching His people to trust in His daily provision. We'll also examine the wisdom of Jethro's advice to Moses on leadership and delegation, offering practical insights for our own lives.

Scott Brooks preaches from Exodus 17:8-18
Here's a major question. If you cannot see it, is it actually real? As obvious as that answer may seem to some, let me contend that most will never understand the true implications of such a question. I'll simply answer that question by saying what you cannot see is more real than what you can. We're going to learn about that in this video!!!
