Way beyond what we can see Key Verses: 2 Corinthians 12:7-9; Romans 8:28
God is an eternal, self-existent Spirit being who lives in the unseen spiritual realm. This spiritual realm is a realm outside time. In the unseen spiritual realm ‘time' and ‘distance' do not exist. There is energy and materiality in the unseen spiritual realm. God lives in eternity, outside time. Our ‘now' is one second. God's ‘now' is eternity. That is why He is the great ‘I AM'. God dwells in the eternal now. God is infinite, we are finite. As humans our understanding is finite. We must use thought and language which is finite, in some way to describe some of the things we understand about our infinite God.

Why are you here? If we're saved for a relationship with Jesus, why wouldn't he just take us to be with him when we're saved? One answer comes from this verse. By not living or dying for ourselves, we find we have others we live and die for. We certainly don't just live to build a building, but for the difference we make in other's lives. People live forever. Everything else won't make it. Our investment in people is the reason Jesus leaves us here. So how are your eternal investments? Do you have energy and money that you invest in the lives of others? Part of the reason service to others matters is because our resources, our time, our energy, and our money or our stuff can make a difference in the life of one or more. Your purpose was the intention of your creator. If you were created by God, then he created you for a reason. And while we're created for a relationship with him, to enjoy him for eternity, we also get to help him today. We get to take part in his current work, redeeming his creation. Would you like to enjoy God, spend time with him. He's working. Let's join him in his work. Check out the Marketplace Mission Trip. This is our way of practicing our faith. For 2 weeks we remind ourselves and others on this "trip" how we can live for Jesus while we do our daily jobs. Would you like to learn more? A message preached by Pastor Mike Henry at Royal View Baptist Church.
Have you ever heard someone say “let God fight your battles?” What does that mean? It takes a lot of emotional work to fight. How you fight is just as important as choosing to go the distance for an issue that needs to be addressed. If you don’t evaluate how you go about fighting, you could lose yourself to the wrong fight. 2 Kings 6 Sunday Morning Service 04-18-21
On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we are looking how how bad things happen to good people, and how good things happen to bad people, and everything in between. The affairs and events of this life on the sin-cursed earth we all live on can be baffling and perplexing, even for the Christian, until you look at them the same way that God looks at them. Remember how Jesus, in John 21, told Peter that Peter's death on the cross would be glory to God? Wha...??? That's crazy, right? Yes, crazy from a human perspective but not from God's point of view. Tonight we will open our King James Bibles and take a real and honest look at the difference between what we think life is all about, and what God created life on this earth to be.
It is very important that we learn how to have God's perspective in the situations we face in life. This message will bring you great encouragement as Pastor Hermes teaches principles we should live by so the Enemy will never be able to trick us and deceive us. Tune in for a powerful Word from the Lord "Revisiting God's Perspective Of Me," preached on March 14th, 2021 by our pastor, Bishop Alfred Jackson.
God’s perspective always exceeds our own. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson discusses holiness in our lives as it relates to God’s perspective. He begins by listing components that make God’s world view different than ours: Nothing is hidden from God; His thoughts are not our thoughts; His Word provides illumination to our lives; He knows the future and told us to expect scoffers and deception in the last days. Pastor Allen examines Jesus’ response to the assaults and attacks that came from following God and encourages us to do likewise, providing ideas and to help us listen, see, and react to the world through our faith. Upon This Rock #3 Life From God’s Perspective By Louie Marsh, 1-31-2021 Intro: last quote Thoreau Perspective is everything when you are experiencing the challenges of life. - Joni Eareckson Tada When your perspective is preloaded with the Word of God, lies lose their power over your life. -Steven Furtick The Bible interprets life from its particular perspective; it does not record in a factual way the human journey through history. - John Shelby Spong It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see. – David Henry Thoreau The next 3 sermons are closely linked together and form the heart of what I’m trying to communicate to you on Sunday mornings during this campaign. I) God Sees Life Very Differently Than I Do: He deals in absolute truth – I deal in “25In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes.” (Judges 21:25, ESV) Show Shootist Video with John Wayne and Ron Howard. “12There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.” (Proverbs 14:12, ESV) I value what’s outward & visible, God cherishes the INWARD/INVISIBLE. “15When the servant of the man of God rose early in the morning and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was all around the city. And the servant said, “Alas, my master! What shall we do?” 16He said, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” 17Then Elisha prayed and said, “O Lord, please open his eyes that he may see.” So the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.” (2 Kings 6:15–17, ESV) “7But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”” (1 Samuel 16:7, ESV) II) Examples of How We See Life Differently Than God: 1) Jesus says I must LOVE my enemies? “44But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” (Matthew 5:44–45, ESV) 2) God actually expects me to FORGIVE everyone who hurts me? “21Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” 22Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy-seven times.” (Matthew 18:21–22, ESV) 3) I’m supposed to pray for and BLESS those who persecute me? “14Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse them.” (Romans 12:14, ESV) 4) God COMMANDS me to be sexually pure? “27“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matthew 5:27–28, ESV) 5) Jesus says my highest calling is to be a SERVANT? “11The greatest among you shall be your servant. 12Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.” (Matthew 23:11–12, ESV)
We have looked at how we lost perspective, what the past did to shape our perspective, what is affecting our perspective in the present, what being in Christ should do to our perspective, and now finally what is God's perspective for us and this world? And how do we pursue His perspective instead of getting trapped in the world's perspectives? Listen in as Denise explores God's perspective versus man's.

A new MP3 sermon from Truth For Life - Alistair Begg is now available on SermonAudio with the following details: Title: God's Perspective on David's Proposal Subtitle: Messages from Truth For Lif Speaker: Alistair Begg Broadcaster: Truth For Life - Alistair Begg Event: Sunday Service Date: 1/24/2021 Bible: 2 Samuel 7:1-7 Length: 45 min.
With his kingdom established and enjoying a time of peace, David proposed to build a better dwelling place for the ark of God. Initially, Nathan the prophet affirmed the king's plan-yet his well-meaning support failed to consider the Lord's perspective. God is sovereign- He cannot be contained and doesn't need man's agendas. As Alistair Begg points out, this key passage unlocks Scripture's whole story line. By God's hand and for His glory, David's dynasty, and ultimately Christ's eternal kingdom, would be established.

When you’re driving clear across the country, you might encounter the Rocky Mountains. A huge mountain range. Pikes Peak alone jets up more than 14,000 feet into the sky. But when you fly over those mountains on an airliner, it kinda looks like the same ground you saw an hour ago but with more . . . texture. So it is with differing perspectives. This psalm is written as a celebration of God's blessings in the marriage relationship. The historical context is the wedding of a king of Israel and as a prophetic anticipation of the relationship of Christ and His Church. There are also present, practical applications of marriage as an ordinance given by God. There is celebration of the significance of marriage with descriptions of the character and responsibility of the man and the wife being joined in the marriage relationship.
