If you've ever wrestled with the question, “How often should my child be in contact with their other parent during my time?”, you've probably realized this isn't really about phone calls. It's about the invisible pressure kids feel to stay emotionally connected to both homes simultaneously and the tension it creates for everyone. If you want your home to be a place of peace and predictability, but you keep getting derailed by “just one more check-in", this episode is for you. The problem isn't a lack of love. The problem is that frequent, parent-driven contact can quietly create loyalty binds, disrupt routines, and place adult anxiety on a child's shoulders. We'll share five principles for healthy cross-home communication, so your child can feel settled, your home can have stability, and you and your spouse can stay united instead of stuck in the same argument about how the other home seems to be intruding on ours. You'll walk away with helpful insight that'll help you decide what's best for your kids: prioritize child-driven connection when possible, create respectful boundaries when needed, protect household rhythms, evaluate your unique co-parenting context, and choose quality over quantity.Because the win isn't “constant access.” The win is a child who feels lighter and freer to love everyone without feeling responsible for meeting unrealistic expectations and managing two homes simultaneously. You'll Discover:How “well-meaning” check-ins can unintentionally create pressure, guilt, or loyalty binds for kidsThe 5 guiding principles to create stability and reduce emotional burden across two homesPractical boundary ideas that protect routines without cutting off connectionA 2-question filter to decide whether your current communication pattern is helping or harmingWhy “quality over quantity” is often the best path to a stronger connection (especially for teens)Resources from this Episode:Episode 161. In this episode of The Gritty Nurse Podcast with host Amie Archibald-Varley, she interviews fellow nurse, Danielle Gibbs Koenitzer. Danielle recounts her experience presenting to the Emergency Department at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital—the very institution where she served as a nurse. Despite her clinical background as an emergency room nurse and professional ties to the facility, Danielle's care was marked by significant gaps, dangerous dismissal of her symptoms and pain. and questions concerning racial bias and health equity. Her experience is not an anomaly, but a reflection of a documented public health crisis. In Canada, studies show that Black patients are 22% less likely to receive any pain medication compared to white patients, and many healthcare providers still hold the dangerous, non-evidence-based belief that Black people have a higher pain threshold. These biases often lead to misdiagnosis and medical neglect, where symptoms are ignored until they reach a point of no return. The conversation moves beyond the clinical errors to address the institutional silence that followed. Danielle discusses her ongoing efforts to seek accountability from the hospital's leadership team, who have yet to provide substantive answers or engage in a meaningful quality improvement process. This is a factual look at the systemic barriers Black women face in healthcare and the breakdown of institutional responsibility when patients demand transparency. Black women do not seek justice and accountability only during the month of February, but every day they navigate a system that fails them. Episdoe EDIT: @10:37 Danielle says 180 cm, she meant to say 180cc of fluid. Takeaways Danielle's journey into nursing was influenced by her mother's advice. She has worked in various nursing roles, including critical care and education. Danielle experienced severe pain after a medical procedure but faced challenges in receiving adequate care. Her experience highlights systemic failures in healthcare, particularly for Black women. Racial bias plays a significant role in how pain is perceived and treated in healthcare settings. Danielle's colleague had a vastly different experience at the same hospital, raising concerns about racial disparities. The healthcare system often dismisses the pain of women, especially women of color. Education on racial bias in healthcare is crucial for future providers. Advocacy for patients is essential, but can be difficult for those within the system. There is a need for co-conspirators to address and change systemic issues in healthcare. The Go Radio Football Show: 24th of February 2026. PLAY and HIT SUBSCRIBE, and NEVER miss an episode! A weekend where controversy overshadowed quality, tempers flared on and off the pitch, and the title race somehow became even tighter. This episode is a full‑throttle dive into the most controversial refereeing weekend of the season — and the decision to hand John Beaton the whistle for Rangers v Celtic. With VAR dominating headlines, Paul Cooney, Mark Guidi and Darren O'Dea unpack a catalogue of officiating errors, the psychology of referees under scrutiny, and the growing sense that the title race is being shaped as much by the men in the middle as the players on the pitch. The Beaton Appointment Shock Darren O'Dea admits he's “surprised he's been picked” for the derby. Mark Guidi goes harder: Beaton's “off‑form this season” and hasn't earned this fixture. The panel question whether Willie Collum has chosen form — or simply rotation. VAR: From Safety Net to Circus Multiple examples of VAR interventions that still produced the wrong outcome. Mark blasts the “cosiness” between refs and VAR officials — no one wants to overrule a colleague. Darren: the real anger comes from refs having all the angles… and still getting it wrong. The Trusty Red Card & Scales Penalty Debate O'Dea: Trusty's action was “idiotic” but not the kind of thing you want to see red cards for. Guidi: Scales' jersey pull happens at every set piece — not a penalty for him. Celtic's appeal? Dismissed. Three‑match ban stands. Rangers' Stumble at Livingston Danny Röhl praises the “character” to come back from 2–0 down. Fans furious at dropped points against a side winless since August. Caller Paul questions John Souttar's form — and whether he's costing Rangers. Hearts & Motherwell: The Real Title Disruptors Hearts keep grinding out results; Guidi says they're “playing with no pressure.” Motherwell's defensive record is elite — only 18 conceded in 27 games. Caller Hugh claims they could go unbeaten in the final 11 games. Darren doesn't dismiss it. Celtic's Form Crisis O'Dea: Celtic “don't look like Celtic” and will need to scrap their way through the run‑in. Guidi: despite everything, the title is still in Celtic's hands — win out, and they're champions. The Old Firm Showdown Looms Rangers favourites at Ibrox — but neither side convincing. Guidi: Rangers haven't won a meaningful derby in years. O'Dea: the winner on Sunday gets the psychological spark they've both been missing. A Galloping Goose MC member who was seen in a viral video beating a woman in a bar has reportedly been dismissed from the club. The question many are asking now is whether internal discipline alone drove that decision—or whether pressure from social media, including commentary from creator Bill Staxx, played a role. We'll talk about how outside voices influence internal club actions in today's climate.️ In another developing case, Unknown Bikers MC members are reportedly being labeled “persons of interest” in a targeted barroom slashing in Luzerne. We'll discuss what “person of interest” actually means, what's being alleged, and why wording matters in these situations.

When Telling the Truth Gets You Gaslit One of the hardest parts of telling the truth isn't the truth itself — it's what comes after. Being questioned. Dismissed. Rewritten. Made to feel dramatic, unstable, or wrong for simply naming what you see and feel. In recovery, this can be especially disorienting, because we're finally learning to trust ourselves again. Today on The Daily Trudge, we talk about what it's like when honesty is met with gaslighting. When clarity is treated like a threat. When setting boundaries gets labeled as aggression. When telling the truth costs you comfort, approval, or belonging. This isn't about playing the victim or blaming everyone else. It's about learning how to stay grounded in reality when someone else insists you're misremembering, overreacting, or imagining things. It's about protecting your sanity without becoming defensive, and holding onto your truth without needing everyone else to agree with it. Recovery teaches us to take responsibility — but it also teaches us not to abandon ourselves. Sometimes the most sober thing we can do is stand firm, stay calm, and refuse to let someone else rewrite our experience. If you've ever walked away from a conversation wondering, “Am I crazy?” after being honest — this one's for you. No one trudges alone.
In this episode of Life Beyond The Mic, Shawna and LaLa talk about why they're stepping away from one-size-fits-all, textbook medicine and embracing a more holistic, individualized approach to healthcare, all while preparing for the snowstorm of the century. They open up about medical gaslighting, being dismissed by doctors, and the importance of doing your own research, bringing case studies to appointments, and getting second (and third) opinions. Both share moments when doctors didn't listen, and how they were right all along. LaLa discusses the devastating reality of medical negligence and how her colon ruptured after five doctors failed to take her symptoms seriously.Shawna also shares a major update: after 36 years of unanswered questions, she recently met with a genetics doctor who may finally have answers related to her Cerebral Palsy and other long-standing health issues that have gone unexplained for decades. This episode is a reminder that patient advocacy saves lives, holistic health looks at the whole person, and you are allowed to push for answers, even when the system makes it hard.

What happens when an old epigenetics training connection pops back into your inbox… talking stem cells, regenerative medicine, and the future of healing? Susan reconnects with Daniel Fazio for a high-energy, “buckle up” conversation that makes stem cells feel way less mysterious, and a lot more practical.Daniel breaks down Stem Cells 101 in a way you'll actually remember (think: your body as a city, and stem cells as the “contracted construction crew” that gets called in when roads, buildings, or systems need repair). From inflammation and recovery to performance and longevity, they unpack why stem cells are becoming one of the most talked-about tools in regenerative medicine, and what most people still don't understand about how they work. They also dive into the real-world differences between using your own cells vs donor-based options, why adipose-derived (fat tissue) harvesting can be less invasive than bone marrow, and the key questions to ask any provider (including cell viability, safety protocols, and candidate considerations). If you've ever wondered whether stem cells are “for you,” how banking works, or what the next wave of medicine could look like… this episode is your starting point. In this episodeStem Cells 101 explained with a memorable analogy: your body's “repair crew” for recovery and rejuvenationThe difference between mesenchymal stem cells (bone marrow/adipose) and pluripotent cells (perinatal sources like umbilical/placenta)Adipose-derived stem cells: what they are, how harvesting works, and why many see them as a more accessible optionWhy people often feel changes first through reduced inflammation and improved daily function/performanceThe big “must-ask” question: cell viability, and why it matters for resultsWho may be a better candidate for using a younger blood relative's cells (and why age and health history matter)Learn more about our guest Daniel Fazio:With a deep background in regenerative medicine, Daniel recognized a critical gap in the healthcare landscape. Cutting-edge stem cell science existed — the technology to help people heal, recover, and thrive — but for most Americans, it remained out of reach.Too often, he witnessed patients being overlooked. Told "no" without a second thought. Dismissed because they didn't fit a narrow profile or couldn't afford boutique clinic prices. These weren't edge cases — they were everyday people seeking real solutions. That's when the vision for Legacy Labs was born: to bring the best stem cell technology in the United States to everyone — not just the wealthy or well-connected.RESOURCES:Connect with Daniel Fazio:https://getlegacylabs.com/https://app.minnect.com/expert/DanielFaziohttps://l2bio.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/danfazio_https://healthyawakening.co/2026/01/19/episode107/Connect with Susan: https://healthyawakening.co/Visit the website: healthyawakening.co/podcastFind listening links here: https://healthyawakening.co/linksP.S. Tensions have surged between the U.S. and Iran as Iran braces for a brutal crackdown on pro-democracy protesters. Reports indicate over 2,500 fatalities and mounting unrest. The U.S. has started repositioning military personnel from the Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, and President Trump has warned Iran that “very strong action” could follow if executions proceed. Amid a partial de-escalation, Iran has temporarily halted proposed executions, though officials maintain that all options remain on the table. Health is splitting into two loud camps: “follow the science” or “burn it all down.” And if your symptoms don't fit the script, you get dismissed—and left to figure it out alone. We expose how social media can save you or sabotage you—and how to spot health misinformation without getting misled. We also unpack the collision between population-level messaging and individual care, especially when a real human is sitting in the exam room saying, “Something changed in my body—and I need you to take it seriously.” Then Erin tells the story that changes everything: a woman spends 10 years in pain, gets dismissed repeatedly, and Erin solves it in seconds with the right pattern recognition. If you've ever felt dismissed, stuck, or lost in the noise, this episode is wildly validating—and it gives you language, strategy, and something medicine forgets to prescribe Want more practical health tips? She found a lump at 38. She was told twice that everything looked fine. She refused to accept it. That decision saved her life. In this powerful conversation, Jill Krause joins us to share the story of her diagnosis, the system that dismissed her, and the inner voice that refused to be quiet. Jill takes us through the moment she discovered her tumour, the four hour appointment that left her frightened and unheard, and the fierce self advocacy that ensured she finally received a biopsy and accurate diagnosis. She opens up about the realities of treatment and we explore how yoga entered her life at rock bottom. You will also hear Jill's insights on trauma sensitive language for oncology yoga. This episode is deeply human, at times devastating, but ultimately full of hope, strength and wisdom.About JillJill Krause, a certified 500-RYT, founder and owner of YOUniversal LOVE, an oncology yoga and coaching company was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 38 and was actively treated for 2.5 years. YOUniversalLOVE was created to fill a void she felt after being discharged from active treatment with no guidance, resources or answers to any of her questions regarding survivorship. Even though she was discharged with early onset menopause, osteoporosis, pain, decreased range of motion from 8 surgeries, and 25lbs of steroid weight, she was given no recommendations or referrals for any healing therapies. As time passed, she kept being confronted with the realization that her needs were not being met and her side effects were going to be long term. She desperately wanted to be an active participant in her healing but was scared of doing it alone with no guidance. She realized that the current survivorship care lacked the understanding that chemotherapy, ovarian suppression, estrogen blockers, and surgeries have on the health and well-being of those affected by cancer. YOUniversalLOVE grew as her purpose shifted from beating cancer to learning how to manage and heal her long-term side effects so she could empower others to become active participants in their healing in order for them to reconnect, reclaim, and redefine their lives. jill@youniversallove.comwww.youniversallove.comAbout Alba Yoga AcademyLearn more with Alba Yoga AcademyLearn more about our Yoga Teacher Training here.Watch our extensive library of YouTube videos.Follow Hannah on Instagram.Follow Celest on Instagram

A federal judge dismissed with prejudice one of the countersuits filed by Leon Black against an Epstein accuser, ruling that the claims failed as a matter of law and could not be refiled. Black had sought to strike back at allegations tied to his financial relationship with Jeffrey Epstein by asserting claims that included defamation and related theories. The court found that the countersuit did not meet the required legal standards, concluding that the pleadings were insufficient and that the case could not be salvaged through amendment. The dismissal marked a decisive setback for Black's offensive legal strategy, narrowing the battlefield to the accuser's claims while foreclosing one avenue of counterattack. Legal analysts noted that a dismissal with prejudice is a strong rebuke, signaling the court's determination that the countersuit lacked a viable legal foundation. While the ruling did not resolve the underlying allegations against Black, it removed a key pressure tactic from the case and underscored the judiciary's reluctance to entertain retaliatory claims that do not clear high evidentiary and pleading thresholds in Epstein-adjacent litigation.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-epstein-chronicles--5003294/support.

The Rickey Smiley Morning Show kicks off with major legal news as a federal judge dismisses the sexual assault lawsuit involving Sean “Diddy” Combs, Odell Beckham Jr., and Druski, citing procedural failures rather than ruling on the claims themselves. The crew breaks down what the dismissal actually means, how social media reacts when high-profile names are involved, and why due process matters—especially in cases that impact real survivors and public trust. The conversation then shifts to love, money, and modern relationships after rapper The Game sparks debate by claiming men should spend at least $5,000 a month on their woman, igniting strong opinions from the RSMS crew and listeners alike. Meanwhile, TJ Holmes and Amy Robach make it clear they’re enjoying their engagement without rushing to the altar, pushing back against public expectations. The show closes on a serious note as police release a photo of a second person of interest connected to the Brown University shooting, with updates on the ongoing investigation and calls for community awareness as authorities continue their search. Federal Judge Dismisses FTC Antitrust Complaint Against Meta — Jessica Melugin — Judge Boasberg dismissed the FTC's monopoly complaint on the foundational grounds that the agency failed to properly define the relevant market, artificially inflating Meta's competitive share by excluding dominant competitors including TikTok and YouTube. Melugin documents that proper market definition analysis places Meta's competitive share at approximately 30–50%, insufficient to constitute monopoly status under established antitrust doctrine, with the decision correctly emphasizing forward-looking statutory authority rather than retroactive punishment of 2020 historical behavior. 1953

Description: In today's mind-bending episode, prepare to challenge everything you think you know. Acclaimed storyteller and filmmaker Ky Dickens—known for documentaries that shift public policy and cultural perception—takes us on a new journey with The Telepathy Tapes, her viral podcast exploring telepathy within the nonspeaking community. The series sparked global fascination, raising profound questions about consciousness, language, and human connection—and is now being developed into a feature documentary. Jen and Amy talk with Ky about how non-speakers are breaking barriers and communicating in ways once thought impossible. From the science of telepathy to its spiritual dimensions, this conversation will upend your understanding of what it means to connect and communicate. Highlights: The groundbreaking ways non-speakers are reshaping communication Dismissed yet fascinating topics like energy healing, animal communication, mediumship, and near-death experiences “The Hill”: a metaphysical space where non-speakers connect telepathically – just wait until you hear about it! What non-speakers reveal about consciousness—and why we never truly disappear Thought-provoking Quotes: “Maybe instead of fixing the brokenness in society, I should focus on fixing the brokenness in me and in humanity.” – Ky Dickens “I don't think it's binary that people have to be that dogmatic about science, and we don't have to believe in everything. I think most of us are somewhere in the middle. We want to really investigate and understand the truth about the non-physical world, and it's not silly or unscientific or gullible to do so. I think it's a beautiful part of being alive.” – Ky Dickens “If you look at the world outside of nature itself, everything here was a thought first. The chair you're sitting in, the jeans you're wearing, even your life itself. And so if consciousness is fundamental, it explains everything.” – Ky Dickens “So much of what science postulates was completely mocked and ridiculed and dismissed at the time. And it turned out later to be true. I mean, people once thought the world was flat. So our beliefs do change.” – Ky Dickens “One thing I have come to realize deeply is that science and spirituality are not enemies.” – Ky Dickens “I have not met a single non-speaker who doesn't talk about people who've passed and about the very real existence of God in an afterlife.” – Ky Dickens Resources Mentioned in This Episode: The Telepathy Tapes – https://thetelepathytapes.com/ BT Harman - https://btharman.com/welcome Dr. Diane Hennacy Powell – https://drdianehennacy.com/ Elizabeth Gilbert – https://www.elizabethgilbert.com/ Rick Rubin - https://x.com/RickRubin Gregory Shushan – https://www.gregoryshushan.com/ Jane Goodall – https://janegoodall.org/ Guest's Links: Website - https://thetelepathytapes.com/ Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/thetelepathytapes/ Twitter - https://x.com/TelepathyTapes Youtube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPA5cHDlwkvTM7akXINZo9w TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@telepathytapes Podcast - https://open.spotify.com/show/1zigaPaUWO4G9SiFV0Kf1c Connect with Jen!
