The Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now officially over as they lost to the San Francisco 49'ers at The Linc by a score of 23-19. Once again, the prevalent theme of this season was the offense not being able to do enough and score in the second half. After stalling on multiple drives with a number of 3-and-outs, the offensive scheme was the Achilles heel for the team. Consequently, the Eagles defense, which had been elite for much of the season, faltered in the end as well. Week 15 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they absolutely destroyed the Las Vegas Raiders at The Linc by a score of 31-0. After a three game losing streak, this is the game the Eagles needed to give them a confidence boost as they head into the final games of this regular season. We saw an Eagles offense that was, at times, creative and utilized effective play design. Jalen Hurts not only used his legs more effectively in the RPO game, but he also threw three touchdowns. The defense was totally dominant, holding the Raiders offense to just 72 net yards. This team is now 9-5 on the season and are still at the top of the NFC East division. As always, we gave our top themes, thoughts and opinions from the game on offense, defense, and special teams. The Philadelphia 76ers have so much promise in their backcourt while also have an albatross that is the Joel Embiid health situation that isn't helping this team. We've seen real good stuff from the Sixers this season, and not-so-good stuff. This week, Sean Barnard from Fox Sports Philly's The Gambler and Draft Kings joined us for a great discussion about what we've seen from this team, and where they may be heading here in mid-December.But first, the guys dove into some Eagles and NFL talk. They discussed the Eagles offensive narrative, and also talked about Philip Rivers coming back to the NFL for the Colts at the age of 44. (Approx. 5:05)From there, they got into a discussion about recent moves the Phillies have made: re-signing Kyle Schwarber and extending manager Rob Thomson until 2027. Plus, they reflected on a tweet from Buster Olney about players in the Steroid Era and how the MLB Hall Of Fame has handled that situation over the decades. (Approx. 27:05)Then they talked about whether the Sixers should look at brining Malik Beasley onto the team to help with 3-point shooting. (Approx. 41:05)What they threw down on the Table this week was a great and in-depth conversation with Sean Barnard from Fox Sports Philly's The Gambler about where this Sixers team is at as we enter mid-December. Week 10 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the Green Bay Packers by a score of 10-7 up at Lambeau Field. In what could have been one of the least offensive inspiring games of the season, this was a win for the Eagles defense. They are now 7-2 on the season and at the top of the NFC East division. The Eagles offense went back to their predictability, which is now a concern, once again, moving forward. The Packers defense knew the snap count. They knew which plays were being run. They made it easy for the Packers defense. Offenses cannot get far in the playoffs running the same kind of plays over and over again. The offensive slog was both the fault of Kevin Patullo AND Nick Sirianni. We've seen this for far too long. Jalen Hurts was off and not playing at a high level this week, and the offensive line played terrible football that adversely impacted the rushing game. The defense was this week's highlight! What a debut game for Jaelan Phillips as he made his presence known coming off the edge. Always getting pressure. He was an overall disturber throughout the game. The linebackers and secondary had a pretty stellar game as well. Credit goes to Vic Fangio who had his defense ready to play this week!As always, we gave our top themes, thoughts and opinions from the game on offense, defense, and special teams, plus we graded each unit to close out the show.SUBSCRIBE on YouTube: youtube.com/@thephiladelphiasportstableHead over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.comFollow us on BlueSky:Jeff: @jeffwarren.bsky.socialErik: @brickpollitt.bsky.socialFollow us on Threads:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstableFollow us on Twitter/X:Jeff: @Jeffrey_WarrenErik: @BrickPollittThe Show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow us on Instagram:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstable.Follow Jeff on TikTok: @mrjeffwarrenFollow us on Facebook: facebook.com/PhiladelphiaSportsTable

The Philadelphia Eagles, once again, have made trades that could provide this team tremendous upside as they come off their bye week. This team has momentum after a great win against the Giants just a couple weeks ago. How will the trades work out, and are they the key puzzle pieces this team needs? This week, Brandon Lee Gowton from BleedingGreenNation.com joined us to dive into these trades and the momentum this team has during the second part of this season. It was a great discussion! But first, the guys dove into some baseball talk as they reflected on the Dodgers winning the World Series, and what the Phillies will need to do this offseason to compete. (Approx. 7:30)From there, they got into how the Sixers season started, and how the team seems to be coming back down to reality. Yet, they're still fun to watch. (Approx. 18:20)Then they discussed some recent NFL trades as the Jets seemingly got worse, and the Cowboys continue to make questionable moves for their franchise. (Approx. 29:00)They also dovetailed into the Eagles trades where they acquired CB Jaire Alexander, CB Michael Carter II, and DE Jealan Phillips. (Approx. 39:35)What they threw down on the Table this week was a great conversation with Brandon Lee Gowton from Bleeding Green Nation about how this Eagles team is going to look coming out of their bye week. They analyzed the trades and how they'll affect the defense. Will the secondary really improve, as well as the pass rush. Week 8 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the New York Giants by by a score of 38-20 at The Linc. This was the type of statement win this team needed right before their bye week. The offense was dominant. The defense was dominant. They are now 6-2 on the season and at the top of the NFC East division. We all wanted to see the offensive line “get right” this week. We all wanted to see Saquon Barkley have a dominant game. Both happened as the offensive line opened up tons of gaps for the rushing attack to flourish. Barkley rushed the ball 14 times and totaled 150 yards, plus he had a receiving touchdown. Tank Bigsby also rushed the ball 9 times for 104 yards. Jalen Hurts also threw for 4 touchdowns today as well. The Eagles offense was working on all cylinders. The defense was also playing at a high level this week. 5 total sacks and 7 tackles for a loss. Week 7 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the Minnesota Vikings by by a score of 28-22 up in Minnesota. This was a “get right” game for this team, and while they did “get right” in some ways, they faltered in others. They are now 5-2 on the season and at the top of the NFC East division. We're continuing to see patterns of the offense still not being able to run the ball effectively. This is not a Saquon Barkley issue, but an offensive line and play calling issue. In this matchup, Barkley only averaged 2.4 yards per carry. Starting center Cam Jurgens' injury certainly didn't help. The passing attack, however, is what we've all been waiting for! Jalen Hurts put up amazing numbers and was probably the most poised we've seen since the Super Bowl. Devonta Smith and A.J. Brown had stellar games; Brown with two touchdowns and Smith with one. They absolutely dominated their coverage today. The defense was up and down throughout the game, but the good news is that on the Vikings six trips to the red zone, the scored five field goals and only one touchdown. The lack of a pass rush is still very concerning, and we're not 100% sure Brandon Graham coming back will help. As always, we gave our top themes, thoughts and opinions from the game on offense, defense, and special teams, plus we graded each unit to close out the show.SUBSCRIBE on YouTube: youtube.com/@thephiladelphiasportstableHead over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.comFollow us on BlueSky:Jeff: @jeffwarren.bsky.socialErik: @brickpollitt.bsky.socialFollow us on Threads:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstableFollow us on Twitter/X:Jeff: @Jeffrey_WarrenErik: @BrickPollittThe Show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow us on Instagram:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstable.Follow Jeff on TikTok: @mrjeffwarrenFollow us on Facebook: facebook.com/PhiladelphiaSportsTable

It was a great, therapeutic discussion with Jon!Topics Jon and Jeff discussed:- How the major offensive bats and likes of Trea Turner, Bryce Harper, and Kyle Schwarber barely show up during the NLDS.- Will the Phillies front office look to bolster the starting pitching for next season?- Should the Phillies re-sign J.T. Realmuto even though he's 34-years-old?- Which guys at the bottom of the lineup will stay, and which ones may be on other teams in 2026?All of this and much more this week on Table Talk!SUBSCRIBE on YouTube: youtube.com/@thephiladelphiasportstableHead over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.comFollow us on BlueSky:Jeff: @jeffwarren.bsky.socialErik: @brickpollitt.bsky.socialFollow us on Threads:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstableFollow us on Twitter/X:Jeff: @Jeffrey_WarrenErik: @BrickPollittThe Show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow us on Instagram:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstable.Follow Jeff on TikTok: @mrjeffwarrenFollow us on Facebook: facebook.com/PhiladelphiaSportsTable
