The Philadelphia 76'ers have been fun to watch this season and we're learning a lot about this team and how competitive they can be night-in and night-out. Plus, they're a fun and entertaining team to watch! This week, Harrison Grimm from LibertyBallers.com joined the pod for a great discussion on what we've seen from the Sixers as we're following a number of storylines. It was a great discussion! But first, the guys dove into some Phillies offseason talk, mainly how Andrew Painter and two other prospects have now been elevated to the 40-man foster. (Approx. 6:55)From there, they talked about the trials and tribulations of the Eagles, but mainly the Philadelphia sports media market who will do anything to remain negative about one of the best teams in professional football. Yes, they talked about the Derrick Gunn comments and situation that arose this week about Jalen Hurts. (Approx. 14:50)Then they discussed terrible sports teams owners, and those franchises who have no vision for the future. What does it mean for those fan bases and the talent on those teams overall? (Approx. 32:10)The guys then talked about some ongoing themes surrounding the 76'ers and what we've seen from the team thus far. (Approx. 43:40)What they threw down on the Table this week was a great conversation with Harrison Grimm from Liberty Ballers about how this Sixers season has been playing out thus far. Week 11 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the Detroit Lions by a score of 16-9 at The Linc in South Philly. Yet again, we saw an offense that continues to sputter and baffle us fans. Meanwhile, we're watching a Super Bowl caliber defense that is defying the odds. They are now 8-2 on the season and at the top of the NFC East division and NFC overall.Once again, the Eagles were predictable, even though A.J. Brown saw 11 targets in this game. The rushing game, once again, couldn't get going. Jalen Hurts was missing open receivers and overthrowing receivers as well. The offense's main issue - the offensive line and their inconsistent play both in the rushing and passing game. the Eagles have the most expensive offense in the NFL by a significant margin. And they continue to be a terrible offense. It's an A+ grade for all aspects of this defense. From the pressure the defensive front consistently put on Jared Goff, to the linebackers making a tremendous impact, to the amazing play by the secondary on two of the league's best wide receivers, the defense was absolutely dominant. Vic Fangio has this defense playing on all cylinders! As always, we gave our top themes, thoughts and opinions from the game on offense, defense, and special teams, plus we graded each unit to close out the show.SUBSCRIBE on YouTube: youtube.com/@thephiladelphiasportstableHead over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.comFollow us on BlueSky:Jeff: @jeffwarren.bsky.socialErik: @brickpollitt.bsky.socialFollow us on Threads:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstableFollow us on Twitter/X:Jeff: @Jeffrey_WarrenErik: @BrickPollittThe Show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow us on Instagram:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstable.Follow Jeff on TikTok: @mrjeffwarrenFollow us on Facebook: facebook.com/PhiladelphiaSportsTable

Week 10 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the Green Bay Packers by a score of 10-7 up at Lambeau Field. In what could have been one of the least offensive inspiring games of the season, this was a win for the Eagles defense. They are now 7-2 on the season and at the top of the NFC East division. The Eagles offense went back to their predictability, which is now a concern, once again, moving forward. The Packers defense knew the snap count. They knew which plays were being run. They made it easy for the Packers defense. Offenses cannot get far in the playoffs running the same kind of plays over and over again. The offensive slog was both the fault of Kevin Patullo AND Nick Sirianni. We've seen this for far too long. Jalen Hurts was off and not playing at a high level this week, and the offensive line played terrible football that adversely impacted the rushing game. The defense was this week's highlight! What a debut game for Jaelan Phillips as he made his presence known coming off the edge. Always getting pressure. He was an overall disturber throughout the game. The linebackers and secondary had a pretty stellar game as well. Credit goes to Vic Fangio who had his defense ready to play this week!As always, we gave our top themes, thoughts and opinions from the game on offense, defense, and special teams, plus we graded each unit to close out the show.SUBSCRIBE on YouTube: youtube.com/@thephiladelphiasportstableHead over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.comFollow us on BlueSky:Jeff: @jeffwarren.bsky.socialErik: @brickpollitt.bsky.socialFollow us on Threads:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstableFollow us on Twitter/X:Jeff: @Jeffrey_WarrenErik: @BrickPollittThe Show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow us on Instagram:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstable.Follow Jeff on TikTok: @mrjeffwarrenFollow us on Facebook: facebook.com/PhiladelphiaSportsTable

Week 7 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the Minnesota Vikings by by a score of 28-22 up in Minnesota. This was a “get right” game for this team, and while they did “get right” in some ways, they faltered in others. They are now 5-2 on the season and at the top of the NFC East division. We're continuing to see patterns of the offense still not being able to run the ball effectively. This is not a Saquon Barkley issue, but an offensive line and play calling issue. In this matchup, Barkley only averaged 2.4 yards per carry. Starting center Cam Jurgens' injury certainly didn't help. The passing attack, however, is what we've all been waiting for! Jalen Hurts put up amazing numbers and was probably the most poised we've seen since the Super Bowl. Devonta Smith and A.J. Brown had stellar games; Brown with two touchdowns and Smith with one. They absolutely dominated their coverage today. The defense was up and down throughout the game, but the good news is that on the Vikings six trips to the red zone, the scored five field goals and only one touchdown. The lack of a pass rush is still very concerning, and we're not 100% sure Brandon Graham coming back will help.

All of us Eagles fans have been asking the question: what's wrong with the Eagles offense? This week, Shane Haff from the Eagles Pin-Pull Network joined the show for an in-depth discussion and breakdown of not only what we've been seeing this season, but what they can do to fix the problems. It was a great discussion! But first, the guys first dove into some Listener Feedback about the Phillies and how enraging they were during the NLDS. (Approx. 5:55)From there, they got into what the Phillies need to do in the offseason, as well as which players may be re-signed, and possible free agents they may look at. (Approx. 8:00)The guys then talked about how the Sixers marketing team is going heavy on the nostalgia this coming season with the black Allen Iverson-era jerseys coming back, and the return of mascot Hip-Hop. Will this be enough to keep the fan base intrigued? (Approx. 22:00)Can the Eagles rebound from two really bad losses over the past two weeks? (Approx. 29:35)What they threw down on the Table this week was a great, in-depth conversation with Shane Haff from the Eagles Pin-Pull Network about how the Eagles offense is performing and what they can do to fix the issues we're all seeing. Week 6 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they lost their second straight game of the season, this one to the New York Giants by by a score of 34-17 at MetLife Stadium. Yet another game where the offense could only score 17 points. This is a major concern for the offense now heading into week 7. They are now 4-2 on the season as we're starting to see the NFC East slip out of their grasp. We're seeing patterns of the offense still not being able to run the ball effectively. There is inconsistency everywhere - from the quarterback to the offensive line to the lack of explosive fire from anyone. 17 points isn't going to win you a lot of games in the NFL.The defense was dealt a number of injuries this week and it certainly hurt when CB Quinyon Mitchell left the game. But let's remember, the Giants had injuries on their team, too. Most concerning is how the pass rush and personnel just aren't developing. After losing three high-level pass rushers in the offseason, this crop of talent hasn't been able to grow and develop. Week 5 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they now have their first loss of the season. The Denver Broncos won this matchup by a score of 21-17 down at The Linc. This was, once again, a tough game to watch as the offensive play calling was completely predictable and the offense, in general, didn't come through in key spots in the second half.Jalen Hurts, once again, showed how he's a top-tier quarterback in the NFL when you look at the stat sheet and how well he played, yet his coaching seems subpar. That's where the weakness has been on this Eagles team - the offensive coaching after five weeks of play.Meanwhile, we saw some of the best defensive pass rush of the season, yet the Eagles only came away with 2 sacks in this game. Week 4 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers by a score of 31-25 down at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay. They are now 4-0 on the season and right at the top of the NFC East division. This game was certainly a tale of two halves with he Eagles offense being dominant and in control in the first half, and completely anemic in the second.Jalen Hurts showed how he's a top-tier quarterback in the NFL to start this game as he was 15/16 for 130 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT, 140.1 passer rating in the first half. The second half stalled and didn't progress well for Hurts, his receivers, or the rushing attack. While the offense didn't put up great-looking numbers, they got the job done and helped secure a win.The defensive pass rush is the most pressing issue facing the Eagles as it's almost nonexistent. While the defense had two sacks today, they only had one quarterback hit and weren't able to rattle Bucs QB Baker Mayfield. Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean were, however, such strong defenders in this game. Week 3 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the Los Angeles Rams by a score of 33-26 down at The Linc in Philly. They are now 3-0 on the season and right at the top of the NFC East division. This was one heck of a game with an amazing ending as Jordan Davis not only blocked a field goal, but returned it for a touchdown for the inevitable win! This game also should be dubbed as a tale of two halves. The Eagles offense only generated 33 yards of offense in the first half, yet ended the game with 288 total yards. The passing game finally started manifesting itself in the second half with Jalen Hurts doing a great job of making plays when it counted, but the pass game was quiet in the first two quarters. And somehow the rushing attack just didn't work in this game as Saquon Barkley ended the day with 2.6 yards per rush. However, the Eagles offense is now 8/8 in the red zone on the season - the best in the NFL.It was a bend but don't break defense this week. While they gave up some big plays through the air to Puka Nacua and Davonte Adams had some nice plays, but it wasn't enough to win this game.As always, we gave our top themes, thoughts and opinions from the game on offense, defense, and special teams, plus we graded each unit to close out the show.SUBSCRIBE on YouTube: youtube.com/@thephiladelphiasportstableHead over to our website for all of our podcasts and more: philadelphiasportstable.comFollow us on BlueSky:Jeff: @jeffwarren.bsky.socialErik: @brickpollitt.bsky.socialFollow us on Threads:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstableFollow us on Twitter/X:Jeff: @Jeffrey_WarrenErik: @BrickPollittThe Show: @PhiladelphiaPSTFollow us on Instagram:Jeff: @mrjeffwarrenErik: @slen1023The Show: @philadelphiasportstable.Follow Jeff on TikTok: @mrjeffwarrenFollow us on Facebook: facebook.com/PhiladelphiaSportsTable

They are now 2-0 on the season and atop of the NFC East. This game was all about the Eagles defense and them grinding it out in the trenches. In Jalen Carter's first game of the season, his presence was known. Nolan Smith and Za'Darius Smith also were fierce in this game, making a huge impact. The tide turned and momentum in the game changed when safety Andrew Mukuba came up with an incredible interception in the 4th quarter.Thankfully, the Eagles have this defensive talent because the offense did just enough to get by. They are now 1-0 on the season. This will forever be known as the game where Jalen Carter spit on Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and was ejected before the first snap of the game. Not having Carter in the middle of the defensive line was a huge loss throughout the game. Plus, our concerns came to fruition as the secondary and CB Adoree' Jackson struggled against CeeDee Lamb.Thankfully, this team and offense has a quarterback in Jalen Hurts who put the team on his back. (Approx. 6:20)From there, they discussed new system changes that are being implemented with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in the Flyers farm system, and how this may play a huge role in the development of young players. (Approx. 21:05)The guys then talked about the Eagles secondary, and how the No. 2 CB situation is playing out. (Approx. 28:55)What they threw down on the Table this week was a great, in-depth conversation with friend of the pod, Dose from Twitter/X, assessing the Eagles during this preseason and Training Camp. Who will win the Eagles No. 2 CB battle? Weakest link on the defense? What WR John Metchie will give the offense? A look at the tight end depth as well as the running back depth. All of this and much more this week on the Table!
