Dracula: Dead and Loving It is a 1995 horror comedy film directed by Mel Brooks and starring Leslie Nielsen. It is a spoof of Bram Stoker's novel Dracula and of some of the story's well-known adaptations. Brooks co-authored the screenplay with Steve Haberman and Rudy De Luca. He also appears as Dr. Van Helsing. The film's other stars include Steven Weber, Amy Yasbeck, Peter MacNicol, Harvey Korman, and Anne Bancroft. The music for the film was composed by Hummie Mann. Seattle-based composer, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter who splits his time between the Pacific northwest and Los Angeles. His latest album – a ten-song release – came out last August, and almost one year ago to the day he had a 31-track release that was an original television soundtrack. He has a new album in production, targeted for release in late spring or early summer. A regular performer and recording artist, he also composes and produces for various projects, with his credits including a number of Lifetime films and singing for video games. He is a former member of the Seattle Symphony Chorale and works as a sessions artist for commercial music and soundtracks, having studied with two-time Emmy Award winning composer Hummie Mann. And his orchestrating credits include Oscar nominated “A Few Good Men”, Golden Globe nominated “Sister Act”, legendary TV series “Fame” and “The Simpsons”. He is also a professor at the Seattle Film Institute and the De Tao Masters Academy in Shanghai.
