Barry Sonnenfeld is a filmmaker and writer who broke into the film industry as the cinematographer on the Coen Brothers' first three films: Blood Simple, Raising Arizona, and Miller's Crossing. He also was the director of photography on Throw Momma from the Train, Big, When Harry Met Sally, and Misery. Sonnenfeld made his directorial debut with The Addams Family in 1991, and has gone on to direct a number of films including Addams Family Values, Get Shorty, and the first three Men in Black films. His television credits include Pushing Daisies, for which he won an Emmy, Netflix's A Series of Unfortunate Events, and most recently Apple TV+'s Schmigadoon! He is the author of Best Possible Place, Worst Possible Time and Barry Sonnenfeld, Call Your Mother. For this season premiere I am covering Addams Family Values, because I wanted to do a Thanksgiving themed film, well this one is a bit of a stretch but it has a Thanksgiving play in the dead of summer. This film has some unexpected stars as children and others were just early in their career, enjoy seeing them so young. Black Widow Cocktail (zestysouthindiankitchen.com): Ingredients For blackberry juice: 1/2 tablespoon of lemon juice 1/2 cup blackberries For black widow cocktail 1 oz simple syrup 4 oz blackberry juice 2 oz vodka Ice Blackberries for garnish Directions Blackberry juice To make blackberry juice In a blender add black berries and lemon juice and process fine and strain it . Black widow cocktail Then in glass filled ice add blackberry juice, simple syrup and vodka and mix with stir and garnish with blackberries and enjoy If you can get hold of dry ice use it just before serving. Throughout the late 80s and 90s, Beginning with "Fester's Quest" in 1989, players guided Uncle Fester through a top-down action-adventure on the NES to thwart an alien invasion. This was followed by "The Addams Family" in 1992, a side-scrolling platformer across multiple systems where Gomez searches for his missing family inside their mansion, after an unfortunate bout with their lawyer. Its sequel, "The Addams Family: Pugsley's Scavenger Hunt" in 1993, pivots to Pugsley's perspective in another platformer, as he searches for presents for a scavenger hunt. That same year, "Addams Family Values" offered a top-down adventure, focusing on Uncle Fester saving baby Pubert. By 1994, and the arcade game "The New Addams Family Electric Shock Machine" offered a different kind of fun, where players literally got a mild electric shock.
