Les amateurs de musique en tous genres vont pouvoir trouver leur bonheur du côté de L'Evasion à Sélestat, en ce mois d'avril. Trois soirées de concerts sont au programme des prochaines semaines. Le premier rendez-vous sera donné ce vendredi 04 avril, avec une programmation résolument rock qui sera proposée par trois groupes différents. Le samedi 12 avril, ce sont des rythmes traditionnels venus d'Afrique de l'Ouest qui résonneront dans la salle de spectacles grâce au Sokan Trio. Lundi 24 mars, une dizaine de jeunes Sélestadiens se sont vu remettre un diplôme à l'issue de leur participation à la première édition du Parcours citoyen. Ce projet, réalisé en partenariat avec l'Association Pour Une Route Universelle, la Mission Locale et la société Aux Bons Soins, avait pour objectif de redéfinir la citoyenneté. Lors de ce parcours, deux jeunes adultes ont notamment pu être accompagnés vers l'emploi. Ce jeudi 03 avril, le public est invité à écouter un nouveau nom de la scène musicale française aux Tanzmatten de Sélestat. Lors de cette soirée, la chanteuse Zélie emportera les spectateurs dans son tourbillon aux sonorités pop, à l'occasion de son unique date en Alsace. Une musique qui fait danser, mais avec des thèmes réfléchis. REC 2 is a 2009 Spanish found footage zombie film sequel to 2007's Rec and the second installment of the Rec film series. The film was written and directed by Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza, both of whom returned from the previous film. The story takes place immediately after the events of the first film and follows a team of soldiers assigned to protect a scientist supposedly sent to investigate the cause of the outbreak, but who may already know more about it than he claims. Les festivités de Carnaval sont à leur apogée cette semaine en Centre-Alsace. Ce week-end, le rendez-vous sera donné du côté de la Ville de Sélestat, qui sera alors aux mains des Machores. Mulholland Drive is a 2001 surrealist neo-noir mystery art film written and directed by David Lynch. Its plot follows an aspiring actress who arrives in Los Angeles, where she befriends a woman who is suffering from amnesia after a car accident. The film follows several other vignettes and characters, including a Hollywood director who encounters mob interference while casting for his latest film. Blue Velvet is a 1986 American neo-noir mystery thriller film written and directed by David Lynch. Phil Lesh & Teri Gar, A.I. and Loudini   1. Trick or Treat (1986) Synopsis: Eddie Weinbauer, a high school outcast and heavy metal fan, discovers that his favorite rock star, Sammi Curr, has died in a mysterious fire. When he plays one of Curr's unreleased albums backward, he unwittingly resurrects the rocker as a supernatural force seeking revenge. Soundtrack: The soundtrack features Fastway, a British rock band that composed most of the music for the film, giving it an authentic 80s heavy metal vibe. Background: This cult classic explores themes of rebellion and the "Satanic Panic" of the 1980s, with cameo appearances by rock icons Ozzy Osbourne (playing a conservative talk show host) and Gene Simmons. 2. The Omen is a 1976 supernatural horror film directed by Richard Donner and written by David Seltzer. (soundcloud.com / andoryukesuta)@andoryukesuta The sound of a nu metal band arouses the vampire Lestat de Lioncourt from a lengthy slumber, and he proceeds to take over as their lead singer. Achieving international success with the ensemble, which he names The Vampire Lestat, and having revealed the existence of vampires, he taunts his own kind during an interview to advertise his first and only live concert. Jesse Reeves, a researcher for the paranormal studies group Talamasca, is intrigued by his lyrics upon hearing one of his songs play on TV and tells the other members her theory that he really is a vampire. Her mentor, David Talbot, explains to her they already know of his identity and donates Lestat's journal that he recovered so that Jesse can read it, but warns her against pursuing Lestat. In the journal, Lestat recalls that in the winter of 1788, he was brought to a Mediterranean island and vampirized by Marius de Romanus, formerly a talented painter, and his violin playing awoke Akasha, the first vampire. Increasingly intrigued, Jesse tracks Lestat down to a London vampire club called The Admiral's Arms, where he saves her from three vampires and confronts her about Marius. Visiting Lestat in Los Angeles, Marius warns him that the other vampires will not tolerate his flamboyant public profile; he reveals that Lestat's music has awakened Akasha and unsuccessfully implores him to cancel his concert. Meanwhile, Akasha arrives at the coven, looking for Lestat. After the vampires reveal their plan to kill him at his concert, she torches the club and kills all the vampires inside. Arriving in Los Angeles, Jesse gives Lestat his journal back and asks him to show her what being a vampire is like. He scoffs at the idea, but she convinces him to spend time with her. She later enquires if he can convert her, expressing her desire to be with him and know everything he does. He angrily declines, demonstrating how a vampire preys on human blood before asking her if she truly wants to become one. Lestat is attacked by a group of vampires at his concert in Death Valley, and Marius aids him in defeating most of them until Akasha arrives and promptly carries Lestat with her to her home on an island resort. During their period of sexual intercourse, he becomes spellbound and subservient to her. Jesse awakens in the house where she lived as a child, in awe at the sight of her aunt, Maharet, who later reveals herself as a member of the Ancient Vampires. Fearing Akasha's plans for world domination, the Ancient Vampires decide to destroy her by draining her blood. However, they believe that whoever drinks her last drop will not survive. Akasha confronts the Ancient Vampires and interrupts their meeting, with Lestat, empowered by her blood, accompanying her. When they refuse to side with her, Akasha commands him to kill Jesse, seeing her both as an enemy due to being Maharet's descendant and as food, with Akasha planning to make an example out of her to dissuade disobedience. He ostensibly obeys, but after drinking Jesse's blood, comes to his senses and is released from Akasha's controlling influence. He demands his "crown", and as Akasha openly offers him her arm to feed on, he then turns on her and, aided by the Ancients, begins to drain her blood, diminishing her power; he goes to Jesse and, cradling her in his arms, donates his blood to her as Maharet, who has effectively killed Akasha by drinking her last drop of blood, turns into a marble statue and "sleeps", becoming the new Queen of the Damned.

The First Omen is a 2024 American supernatural horror film directed by Arkasha Stevenson, who co-wrote the screenplay with Tim Smith and Keith Thomas from a story by Ben Jacoby. It is a prequel to The Omen (1976), and the sixth film in The Omen franchise. The film stars Nell Tiger Free, Tawfeek Barhom, Sônia Braga, Ralph Ineson, and Bill Nighy. The plot follows an American nun sent to work at a Catholic orphanage in Rome who uncovers a sinister conspiracy to bring about the birth of the Antichrist. Dennis is joined via Zoom by Broadway veteran Hugh Panaro to talk about his album and cabaret show Man Without a Mask, which is playing in Los Angeles on December 5th at the Catalina Jazz Club. Hugh talks about making the leap to recording and doing his own cabaret show after years of appearing on Broadway and on the West End in shows like Les Miserables, Sweeney Todd and Phantom of the Opera, in which he logged over 2500 performances as the Phantom. In regards to that show, Hugh talks about the mask itself, what it's made of, how it's maintained and how he feels about it. He also talks about working on Phantom with Hal Prince and choreographer Gillian Lynne who gave him very explicit instructions on how to sex-up the song "Music of the Night." Hugh also talks about discovering he could sing after playing the organ in church and then finding a home in musical theater as a chubby, artsy kid who often got bullied in school. Other topics include: getting to tour Europe and share gelato with Barbra Streisand, appearing in the late 90's gay rom-com movie Broadway Damage, surviving Broadway flops like Lestat and The Red Shoes, meeting Dr. Ruth after a show, the healing power of music and how most people on Broadway are genuinely nice people...except for that one unnamed diva who literally slapped her dresser for giving her the wrong leg panty hose first.
