Das beweist die Entstehungsgeschichte des VR Röntgentrainers, der in Berufsschulen bei der Ausbildung von Zahnmedizinischen Fachangestellten eingesetzt werden kann. Wie das gelungen ist und was andere Schulen davon lernen können, erzählen in dieser Folge die Lehrerinnen Silke Ballach und Olga Ebert sowie der Software-Entwickler Quirin Münch. Silke Ballach ist Schulleiterin der Berufsschule für Zahnmedizinische Fachangestellte in München, ihre Kollegin Olga Ebert ist dort unter anderem für den Unterricht zum Thema Röntgen verantwortlich. Als ein neuer Lehrplan mehr Praxisnähe im Unterricht verlangte, kamen sie – unterstützt unter anderem durch einen Besuch beim XR HUB Bavaria – auf die Idee, dafür auf VR zu setzen. Es fehlte nur noch die passende VR-Experience. Für die sorgten dann Quirin Münch, Geschäftsführer von QM Interactive und CAT PRODUCTION, und sein Team, gefördert vom FFF Bayern. Jetzt ist der VR Röntgentrainer erfolgreich im Einsatz – und das nicht nur in München, sondern an immer mehr Berufsschulen. Ein echtes Leuchtturmprojekt!

Meet Jacek Debowski, an independent video game developer based in Warsaw, Poland. Ovid Works was founded in 2015 as a side project motivated by the team's love of games and literature. Through Metamorphosis, a game that was influenced by the writings of Franz Kafka, the development team aimed to enhance the relationship between interactive gameplay and traditional storytelling. The first game was the whimsical 2017 VR adventure Interkosmos, which put players in the cockpit of a Soviet space capsule plummeting toward earth. Our next game Metamorphosis was a first-person puzzle-platformer set in surrealist landscapes, where you'll play as a tiny bug.
