ROYALE WITH CHEESE Much like our Reservoir Dogs episode, this is your one of many explicit warnings for this episode because we are covering Pulp Fiction. There's so many songs in the movie that it's another 2 parter. Part 1 covers: "Misirlou", "Jungle Boogie", "Let's Stay Together", "Bustin' Surfboards" and "Lonesome Town". Ben reluctantly gives his thoughts on the trailer for the new Toy Story movie, Dietrich declares banana and peanut butter as the best milkshake and Alex lists the benefits of piercings for... Im Süden nichts Neues? - Folge 11 - Kemische Keule Ladies and Gentlemen! Riiiiiiiccckkyyy Neeeelson! Ladies and Gentlemen! Chrriiiiiistiiiinneee! Grüße an Sarah! Grüße an Aless! Sonny & Cher [00:28] a side: "Little Man" b side: "Monday" ATCO Records 45-6440 1966 Big hit for them in Europe, not so much in the US. Clarence Henry [06:42] b side: "Little Suzy" a side: "You Only Hurt the Ones You Love" Argo U-10760 1961 Whoops. Your Old Pal Will got the sides flipped again. Probably because the b-side, "Little Suzy", is a pretty awesome track. The actual a-side is a pretty solid take on the standard made classic by The Mills Brothers. The Sweet [12:16] a side: "Little Willy" b side: "Man from Mecca" Bell Records 45,251 1972 One of the gold standard by which glam rock singles are judged. Still shimmers. Future Twin [18:16] a side: "Lockits" b side: "Badseed" 2012 Heck yeah. Badass motorbike ladies. What more could you want from an a-side? Talk Normal [25:07] a side: "Lone General" b side: "Hurricane" M'Ladys Records M'LR 029 2011 Super rad release from Sarah Register and Andrya Ambro aka Talk Normal. The sleeve artwork is taken from a painting by Kim Gordon. Super powerful duo to see live. The Shades of Blue [34:34] a side: "Lonely Summer" b side: "With This Ring" Impact Records IMPACT 1014 1966 Some blue eyed soul from Detroit performing a pretty catchy Edwin Starr number. And heck, the b-side is not too bad either considering the saccharine topic. Ricky Nelson [40:20] a side: "Lonesome Town" b side: "I Got a Feeling" Imperial Records X5545 1958 The classic young Ricky Nelson single, accompanied by The Jordanaires. Nadja [44:39] a side: "Long Dark Twenties" Anthem Records Hoo yeah. The excellent duo Nadja bringing us their cover of a song from The Kids in the Hall film Brain Candy (https://youtu.be/sPFQE8VjAog). A fine aural confection. "Gomez" by Vic Mizzy.

Ember Island...She told me, "Don t worry about it"She told me, "Don t worry no more"Boom Jinx Светлое настроение "Last Summer" вместе с Tara Minton. 1.The Weeknd - Can't Feel My Face ( Ember Island cover) 2.Boom Jinx feat Aruna - Light As a Feather (original album version) 3.Ghost of Paraguay ft. ..and to the 7th track on my album…”Tribute to Ricky Nelson”….I’ve always been a huge fan of the guy..preferred him to Elvis in the 50’s…so I thought he deserved a place on my CD….it tells of how his love songs brought us all through the dark times after just being chucked by the love of your life…sit in a dark room with your Dansette and put on “Lonesome Town”…problem solved. the weather here has been very hot…great for sailing and all outdoor activities…EXCEPT for the poor pensioners….this country has to be top of the charts for moaners…a few weeks back it was too cold and the poor pensioners needed looking after (The one’s who aren’t cruising round the Medi that is)…now they are too HOT and need looking after…in case they de-hydrate…next thing will be the droughts…what does it take to make some people happy…beats me. ..The Open Golf Tournament is upon us…..and Hoylake is buzzing…I decided to go out in my kayak on Thursday and row on the Dee alongside the Royal Liverpool in the hope of getting on the tele….but to no avail…it’s the only way I’ll ever appear at the Open….I don’t quite get the attraction of watching live golf when it is so much better on the tele…anyway it looks like being a big success. Have you been watching?...some great shots of Hoylake from the air….but I wish they would stop calling it THE Wirral…..it’s WIRRAL!! .We went over to Liverpool in the week to buy some electrical stuff from Maplins…the service was superb and the guy who served us was a scream…amongst the stuff we bought an extending window scraper for a fiver…as it was so long they offered to deliver it FREE…it arrived NEXT DAY…I have written to Maplins and thanked them for great service which I didn’t think existed anymore. .On a similar subject we went to Wetherspoons in Caernarvon and had two delicious mixed grills…AND a bottle of quality wine…all for 15 quid….it’s hard to believe the value of the place…and it’s less than two quid a pint!!!....I’m a fussy eater but I can’t fault Wetherspoons…this is the reason they are always full and all the other places are empty….wonderful.
