John Schneider is at the combine this week, but he's not carrying a stopwatch and checking out prospects; he's there to conduct bizness. One of the items on his agenda- signing running back Ken Walker and the other Seahawks free agents. There are arguments for and against re-signing Ken Walker and it makes sense for the Seahawks to get a little financially uncomfortable in order to keep Walker, but within reason. :30- ICYMI ANDRES MUNOZ who joined us last week in Peoria and it was one of our favorite interviews of the week! :45- It's time to get Reckless at Breakfast as we continue our journey towards finding a way to stop tanking, so how about this plan? US Hockey wins GOLD! What a game, what an Olympic journey as the US beat Canada 2-1 in OT to bring the gold medal back to the states for the first time since the 1980 Miracle on Ice team. Could the feat cause a renewed surge in hockey and grow the sport even more? :30- What Chuck learned from Spring Training Part 1: What's the plan for second base? It seems fans are all that convinced that Cole Young is the answer, but the Mariners sure seem to be convinced that he's the guy. Colt Emerson is being given the opportunity to win a roster spot, but the chances aren't very high that he will start the season in the majors. There is a strong chance he will get the call up during the season and they will just have to figure out where to play him. And what about Michael Arroyo? He got people talking over the weekend and could be the third baseman of the future for the M's. Ryan Bliss seems headed for a utility role after winning the 2nd base job last year and going out with an injury. Miles Mastrobuoni looked good in camp, he's put on weight and seems ready to make an impact this season in a utility role as well. :45- It's Pajama Party week as the NFL combine gets underway in Indianapolis. JOEY DACCORD (Seattle Kraken) joins the show to talk Olympic hockey, the 2nd half of the Kraken season and more! We get Joey's thoughts on yesterday's incredible Olympic hockey game and what it means for the US to have won the gold. From one goalie to another- how impressive was Connor Hellebuyck? How ready is Joey to get back to action and how important was the break for everyone? How does he feel about where the team is right now and how does he feel personally? Does he think the Olympic success will give the NHL a boost? The Tkachuck's said the US hates Canada- will that affect things in an NHL locker room or is it just an Olympic thing? :30- What Chuck learned from Spring Training Part 2: We take a look at the platoon situation in right field and at DH. No, a platoon isn't a bad thing, even the Dodgers do it! What feels different this year? A lot, actually. :45- After Canada lost to the US, their head coach, Jon Cooper called out the overtime rules. ALVIN DAVIS aka Mr. Mariner, joins the guys to kick off our final day in Peoria. Who is nicer- Alvin or Andres? How special is Cal Raleigh as a player and a leader and what's it been like watching his development? On the addition of Josh Naylor and what he brings to this team on and off the field. :30- EMERSON HANCOCK stops by and he still doesn't know who Nate Bargatze is! How was this offseason different than last year given how last year went? Has he carried any of his tinkering through the offseason and is he working on anything new? Did getting to be a part of the special season last year fuel his fire for this season? The relationships on this pitching staff are very special. :45- New Seahawks OC Brian Fleury met with the media and there was one thing that stood out as a little disappointing to Chuck. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Mariners GM JUSTIN HOLLANDER joins the show and we have a lot to discuss. Will Colt Emerson be given a legit shot to make the opening day roster? And if so, where would he fit best? How does Emerson's status affect where Donovan will play? How difficult was it to navigate slow pace of the Donovan trade? Who is the favorite to start the season at 2nd base? What's the plan for the right-field/DH platoon? Where does Hollander see Laz Montes this season? Let's look at the depth of the starting pitchers… and how is he feeling about the health of his starting 5? We gotta get Justin's thoughts on the addition of Josh Naylor. The moves are made, but that doesn't mean they won't be looking for ways to get better as the season goes on! :30- There have been a lot of positives with this team through the first week of Spring Training, but do we have some cause for concern with this team at all? :45- The NBA is going all in to combat tanking, will it work?
